CVA has a barrel blaster patch you can use after cleaning. I wipe the outside down with them after I run a few down the barrel. Keeps the rust away. Great video. Good shooting!

Hot soapy water for a good cleaning & patch with Bore Butter after its dried helps CVA has stepped it up in last few years. Own 2 that are accurate

I’ve got one of these and I’ve never been disappointed with it. Cheap, lightweight, and accurate. I’ve taken plenty of deer with it and I save a doe tag for muzzleloader season because I love to shoot it.

I wasn't much for black powder rifles until I shot one, BUT NOW I LOVE THE HECK OUT OF THEM , I'm still learning on ranges and powder loads, I'm very impressed on the amount of ballistic info on the suggested loads for each and every style of bullet that used in the WOLF. IVE YET TO PULL THE TRIGGER ON GAME ANIMALS, LOVE LONG RANGE SHOTS AND WHATS AMAZES ME IS THE DELIVERY REPORT . KERR WHOPP.

Same here. Never paid the any attention. Then i was gifted a remington 700ML stainless this late fall. Was able to get out and test it a couple times before winter set in. Can't wait until spring, to really get some play time in with it. Converted it over to 209 primers in the meantime. Will likely be shooting loose powder, as the pellets are impossible to find, for me. 3 boxes of powder pellets came with the gun, but they have store stickers on them from 2000. They did fire, when i was testing the gun, but definitely not dependable/reliable, i'd say.

Make sure you put some grease on the threads of the breach plug. I loved my wolf but ended up with the plug stuck and not able to clean it. 2 pyrodex pellets behind powerbelt green tips took 6 or 7 deer with mine. 3 pellets just seem to kick more with little gain in performance. GOOD LUCK THIS SEASON!

I like the gun. Bummer I can’t use these style in my state of Washington State since the primer is not exposed to the weather.

Those boxes the pellets come in, work great to hold some of your bing bang seeds, Once they're empty.

I swear by powder not pellets. Whether manufacturers say so or not! I like full quick burn. Let’s see a video with pyrodex powder!

If you can find the Starfire Tripple 7 pellets in your area, I'd suggest giving them a try. They are a little hotter than the regular Tripple 7 pellets and only 33 grains, so it takes three instead of two. I've shot four of them as both of my guns are Magnums but get that thumb over the wrist of that rifle if you do, (as you should anyway), they know what recoil is. You will too after shooting four of them. Laying that thumb along the side of that rifle is a damn good way to get a severe case of scope eye. I've seen guys cut themselves a new eyebrow doing that. Oh, those Powerbelt ELR'S are a fine bullet as far as accuracy, I haven't shot a critter with them yet but I'm guessing they'll make a big hole in one. I have shot them out to 300 yards though and I can tell you they're accurate, out of my smoke poles anyway.
