That little girl is actress Maryellen Clemons. Her best known role is "Clary" (an uncredited role) in the Robert Mitchum movie, Night of the Hunter where she played one of Lillian Gish's orphans. She would go on to dancing in live theater. And then teaching drama in colleges like Cal State Northridge. She died sometime around early 2008 of cancer. Cal State Northridge has a scholarship named after her.
