  • Hey, did you know that the life of Jesus was stolen from the Egyptian God Horus?
Oh, you know stuff about Horus? Well, I mean it was stolen from Mithras.
Oh, you know stuff about Mithras too? Well, whatever pagan god you've never heard of is the one that the life of Jesus is stolen from.

Clearly, you're assessing evidence, accepting what you think to be hard evidence and dismissing what you think to be false or low quality.
But how do you determine which ones are false, hard, and low quality? What's your standard? Are you using a universal standard? Or are you using your own personal arbitrary standard?
I ask this because you dismiss the claims of Christianity, when we're not even sure you can competently assess evidence or even recognize it when you see one.

      Debunking catholicism
      I'm more blessed than mary
      Proof = Luke 11:27-28
27 And it happened, as He spoke these things, that a certain woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed You!”
28 But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
In Luke 11:27 that random woman LITERALLY said Jesus your mother is Blessed, but are Lord Jesus LITERALLY said Believers are more Blessed than mary. Amen and Amen

There is only One Mediator between God and men, LORD Jesus Christ= 1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
Hebrew 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
Hebrew 12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
Hebrew 8:6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.

Paul allows bishops to get marry, but catholic church goes against paul.

11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.

Whenever a catholic argue about mary being the mother of God
Use this to defeat the argument.
Luke 8:21 But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.”
      Matthew 12:46-50
46 While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. 47 Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.”
48 But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” 49 And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”.
Mark 3:35 For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.”
      John 19:26-27
26 When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” 27 Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home. ( Jesus basically said John is the son of mary, and mary is the mother of John from that time onwards).
By the way sarah is the mother of all proof=Galatians 4:21-26.

      Acts 10:25-26
25 As Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him. 26 But Peter lifted him up, saying, “Stand up; I myself am also a man.”
      Acts 14:15
15 and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them,
      Revelation 19:10
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
      Revelation 22:8-9
8 Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
9 Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God."
      Colossians 2:18
18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
You cannot go to Father through saints nor mary, you can only go to the Father through Lord Jesus Christ= John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Ephesians 2:18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
Holy Spirit intercedes for us=Romans 8:26
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
      And CHRIST as well=Romans 8:34
34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
      Hebrews 7:25
25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
It's Christ and Holy Spirit who intercedes for us not apostles

3 My defense to those who examine me is this: 4 Do we have no right to eat and drink? 5 Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?
If Peter (peter is cephas read John 1:42) the so called "first pope" was married, why does the catholic church doesn't allow "pope" to marry?
      _________________________
The so called vicar of christ/ pope/holy father Peter called himself a fellow elder in 1 Peter 5:1, and as per the qualifications of elder in Titus 1:5-9 the elder is allowed to get married; then why does the "pope" is required to be celibate and catholic? ( when Peter was neither celibate nor catholic).
1)Peter was not perfect human nor was he a perfect disciple
2)He sank down while walking on water
3)Our Lord said to peter get behind me satan
4)Peter reject our Lord 3 times
5)Our Lord rebuked Peter for calling fire from heaven
6)Our Lord rebuked Peter when he cut of the soilders ear
7)Paul rebuked Peter for being hypocrite because he was acting different in front of Jews and different in front of gentiles.
      8) Moses messed up, and he was a important part of Bible ( that's why he never entered the promised land),
9)David messed up ( and he has the Holy Spirit),
      10)King Soloman messed up,
      11) Saul messed up and God regretted the decision (1 Samuel 15:10-11).
Hatrick (Saul then David then Soloman back to back messed up)
12)The apostles run away a day before Lord Jesus got locked up.
13)The early church messed up Rev 2:18-20, 1 Corinthians, Galatians.
      14) Apostle John when receiving Revelation worshiped an angel and the angel said "see you do not do that. Worship GOD" Revelation 22:8-9
If these great people could mess up, why do you think the catholic church wouldn't mess up.
      _
      Galatians 4:21-26
21 Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? 22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, 24 which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar- 25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children- 26 but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Sarah is mother of all, Not mary
Also the Church has many name like Christians, Evangelists, Children of God, Believers, servents of God, bride of Christ, but not once the Church is called catholics
Changed the 10 commandments by deleting 2nd commandment, and dividing the 10th into 2 commandments. Also changing the real Saturday Sabbath to fake sunday sabbath.

And please, spare us the “but I’m not Protestant, I’m just a Christian” rhetoric; you are Protestant. Period, end of report, next case. Those theologically incorrect misinterpretations you just foolishly listed are rooted in PROTESTANT translations.
By the way, guess what else isn’t found in the biblical canon? Do you know? SOLA SCRIPTURA. It’s literally found nowhere. Also, why do you claim to follow strictly the Bible when you Protestants removed several books from it? The original Greek (that is actually what “orthodox” means: it is Koine Greek for “correct belief”) has 80 books in it. Yours only has roughly 66, depending upon which heretical Protestant version we’re talking about.

lionofthetribe1 You're being willfully ignorant of history, because Protestantism, by which your form of "Christianity" is informed has no reason to exist other than as a reactionary movement against the excesses of the Popes, but then established itself as an entirely different religion by denying the perennial teachings of the Church regarding sacraments, and taking away books from the Bible; let me ask you a question- what version of the Bible did St. Paul use, if your form of Christianity is "Mere Christianity"? Why is it that the most ancient communities even mentioned in the Bible that still exist today has nothing to do with your form of Christianity? It is because your form of Christianity is divorced from actual Christianity, which was established by Jesus Christ, and whose hierarchy has a strong claim of descent from actual men who walked with Jesus Christ and were trained by Him; you know the sort of "Christians" who just took a Bible and interpreted it without legitimate authority and even made their own list of book in the Bible? Skeptics don't care about making absolute assertions, only brining to light the fraudulent nature of the content of religion. That was great! I laughed so hard I cried. FYI, in case you didn't know, Christians were battling the myth of Mithras as early as 150 AD. Justin Martyr addresses Mithras in his "First Apology":
"For the apostles, in the memoirs composed by them, which are called Gospels, have thus delivered unto us what was enjoined upon them; that Jesus took bread, and when He had given thanks, said, "This do ye in remembrance of Me, this is My body;" and that, after the same manner, having taken the cup and given thanks, He said, "This is My blood;" and gave it to them alone. Which the wicked devils have imitated in the mysteries of Mithras, commanding the same thing to be done. For, that bread and a cup of water are placed with certain incantations in the mystic rites of one who is being initiated, you either know or can learn."

If you've read the bible and regard it as true, you can't help but have hundreds of questions unless the hell concept has you muted. You talk of a satan and a god as if "they" are real and have any relevance to a contemporary society. The god is a genocidal maniac who demands constant worship, thinks nothing of promoting and condoning slavery, commands women for not being virgins on their wedding day and says children that talk back to their parents should be killed on the spot. Satan never got to tell his story, it appears he was nothing more than a union leader who was ousted for rebellion from the jealous boss. If satan is "evil", why will he punish the evil? That and most of the bunk in the bible makes no sense, full of errors, contradictions and misstatements and has been translated, re-translated and "massaged" countless times through the ages by the church. There are no original manuscripts anywhere and basically Constantine and a few bishops formulated it in 325 AD and elevated the jesus character to divinity. The date of these stories is also important, since manny pagan legends were stolen and reformed by Christians, to suit them more. And even if your claims is true, it doesn't prove YOUR God. It just proves more how unoriginal christianity is, since those religions had those stories before Bible.

Easy. Start with the fact that pretty much only English and German use "Easter" or a related word, and it's pretty easy to see that this even if the word derivation hypothesis is completely true, it's irrelevant to the core Christian doctrines related to Easter. If anything, Easter is a co-opting of Passover. Look at the name of the feast in languages closer to the origins of Christianity. Consider the fact that the date of Easter is pegged to Passover. The writers of the New Testament documents even refer to Jesus as the Passover lamb.
It's clear from the writings of the early Fathers that where Christianity derives from another religion, it strictly from Judaism.

      @davidfenton3910 Před 5 lety

      Hi @@maryodonnell3221.
It isn't possible to have even one conscious thought without prior sense experience.
This shows that consciousness is based in sense experience.
When people consider the imaginary to be real, then their thinking and reasoning has become debased from the source of truth, sensible reality.
It's not about the existence of God, it's about ascribing to an imaginary thing, reality, and using that to think and live.
For example, Jesus supposedly says the greatest commandment is to love God with all one's heart and strength or some such. The thing is, the nature of love is that it cannot be commanded to be, or to cease. If you love someone, my telling you to not love them cannot change the reality of your heart, your love will remain, as it should.
Similarly my or anyone telling you to love someone, when you don't, will not change the condition of your heart. This is because our disposition toward others is not something to be determined by a command but by reality.
The prime rule if one is to live by truth would be to treat all things according to what they are. Commanded love is a contradiction to the nature of love. That's one of the things infallible Gods and their progeny are needed for ... to justify, lift up and enshrine beyond true to reality examination, things that are unnatural. (It's not just religions that do this!)
Societal lifting up and 'enshrining' as true beyond criticism can also happen with the virtual deification of certain knowledge because it is from such supposedly 'brilliant' scientists e.g. Darwin, Einstein, Newton ... or historical narratives such as Auschwitz. If things are beyond open honest holding up to the light of reality via questions and discussion, then it there is likely something 'wrong' for: In reality we live and move and have our being. It's rules or laws are consistent and determine all things. They self enforce and cannot be broken ... unlike artificial laws and unnatural laws which are not laws but mere proxies speaking the imaginings of false truth.
Any law or way of reality can be interrogated as intently as possible and all that results is the deeper and truer revelation of it BUT when some imaginary shadow is interrogated using the laws or ways of nature then it is shown to be nothing in reality for the light reveals it's lack of substance and reveals that the shadow pretending to be substance was a lie.
Thanks for your comment and the opportunity to think in response to you. Cheers
      Sincerely David

Of course Nobody will be so stupid to copy everything exactly the same but check these evidence in no.2 and 3 below:
20 IRREFUTABLE EVIDENCE that proved Bible God is likely FAKE, don't miss the last paragraph that explains them all:
      1) A creator god claimed to be all mighty should be the oldest and only religion but all the pagans, Greek, Chinese, Hinduism religions existed earlier. This proved their Creator claim fake.
      2) Jesus similarities with Buddha. Maya to Mary, miracle pregnancy to virgin pregnancy, birth during a journey home to from on water, Gautama left the palace at age 29 and Jesus appeared at 29, Gautama became Buddha at 35 and Jesus died and resurrected at around 35, Buddha had a big meal while Jesus had a last supper before they died, after they passed away, 500 arahants witnessed compilation of Buddha's teachings and over 500 witnesses to Jesus's resurrection etc. All coincidental ? Beside Buddha, Jesus was also found to be copied from other figures. Surely they can't be ALL coincidental.
      3) Many of the Bible's mythologies was copied from older pagans, Greek, Egyptian or Hinduism religions(note the names too) E.g. Adam & Eve from Atman and Jiva, in Hinduism, big flood and survivor Noah/3 sons same as Manu/3 daughters although cause of flood is different. Even the names of Abraham and wife/sister Sarah close to Brahma and Saraswathi beside having quite similar story. Regardless of which religion copied which, it proved this god is NOT the only true god or all mighty as it doesn't makes sense for an ALMIGHTY GOD to create or allow more copies or religions.
      4) Why should a true all mighty and all knowing God allowed their people to branch off and kill their parent religion Judaism or Zoroatruism ? "Free will" as an excuse is not acceptable as earlier they claimed their God killed all people with a big flood(without freewill) because they sinned.
      5) The way they collect tithings during Sunday mass is so tricky. They know people will be shy not to pay or tend to pay more when others could be watching. This is why they don't just use a stationed money box like Buddhism, Hinduism or Chinese temples where people can donate anytime. Catholics and Islam made it even bigger by suggesting donation of a certain percentage of their income.
      6) The Bible condemned non-followers, clearly mentioned in Mark's words 16:16. Why should a Creator God's religion condemn non-believers when in the first place, they claimed their God created the world? Isn't this like playing both sides of the same coin, both good and evil ?
7)Not knowing why or how the world exists don't mean that it was created by a god. Now "Creator" idea got stale, they use "Intelligent Design" What is so intelligent in its design? If people don't need to go to toilet and don't have unpleasant feelings or sufferings, then I will call it an intelligent design.
8)Wisdom, mindfulness and meditaion are not taught or encouraged by them because they don't want their followers' minds to be clearer and wiser.
9)The Bible copied very much from older religions but not the theory of karma because karma idea defeats the purpose of the all mighty God and it will prevent people from doing bad deeds. Saying God love or forgive sins is a trick playing both sides of the coin.
      10) If there is a loving God, why are there Christian babies born with disease or innocent children being abused or died young ?
      11) It don't makes sense to claim that only their believers will go to heaven and others don't since they claimed their God created all people. Such claim is an insult to other religions and cultures and caused people to divide. A good religion should be non-sectarian, secular and treat all people equally.
12)Most major festivals and holidays related to Christianity are fake including Christmas(Jesus can't be born in winter), Easter, Thanksgiving, Good Friday, All Souls, Halloween and even New Year are copied from paganism.
      13) Using fear like hell or "end of the world" every 2 years but we are still here.
      14) The fraud case of Mother Teresa(Google it) and after she died, those money she collected was not returned to India.
15)If their God is all-mighty, why need missionaries to convert others ?
      16) The ongoing child sex abuses committed by the pastors/priests that I read so often.
      17) The Bible is full of lust(Solomon's part), evil and violence. Their God killed countless people when Satan only killed a few.
      18) The Bible condemned dogs because they know dogs are man's best friend. Making men lonely is the best way to keep them dependant on religion.
      19) If God created everybody, why then condemn LGBT or other religions ?
      20) Incidents, eg: (a) Covid-19 highest fatalities rate countries are all highly religious, 500K Americans alone !! (b)The Air Asia plane crash of 2019 killed 41 church members, 2 missionaries and their few month old baby. (c) spree killings happened inside a church.
Only 1 reason can tie up all 20 points above, this God was man-made to con or control people.

There's a whole myth about how Ra cursed their mom to be unable to give birth on any day of the year, so their dad made a bet with the lunar god and won five nights of moonlight that aren't on the calendar, since the intercalary month isn't part of the main calendar.

LOL. Yes, yes, this is all true, and John F. Kennedy never existed, he was just a ''life that was stolen'' from Abraham Lincoln:
    1. Both Lincoln and Kennedy were elected to Congress in '46 (1846 in Lincoln's case, 1946 in Kennedy's). Both became President in '60.
    2. Both had lazy eye muscles which would cause one eye to wander.
    3. Both had been skippers on boats (Lincoln on the Mississippi river boat 'Talisman' and Kennedy on the PT-109)
    4. Both were the second sons in their families. Each lost a sister to death before becoming President. Both married 24-year-old brunettes who had been previously engaged to other men, and who spoke French fluently.
    5. Both had a child die while living in the White House.
    6. Both were related to U.S. Senators, U.S. Attorney Generals who graduated from Harvard, and ambassadors to the Court of St. James.
    7. Both were acquaintances of a man named Adlai E. Stevenson who ran for either Vice-President or President, a doctor named Charles Taft and a man named William Graham.
    8. Both were advised not to go to the place where they died.
    9. Both Lincoln's theater box and Kennedy's car were altered for their benefit (Lincoln's theater box had a partition removed to accomodate his party, Kennedy's car had a raised rear seat)
    10. Both were slain on a Friday before a major Holiday (Lincoln on the Friday before Easter, Kennedy on the Friday before Thanksgiving). Both were shot while sitting next to their wives and in the presence of another couple. Of the other couple, the man was also wounded by the assassin, but neither wife was wounded.
    11. Both were shot from behind and in the head. Both of their wives cradled their husband's heads after they were shot.
    12. John Wilkes Booth shot Lincoln from inside a theater, and fled to a warehouse. Lee Harvey Oswald shot Kennedy from inside a warehouse and fled to a theater.
    13. Lincoln was shot while inside the Ford theater, in box 7. Kennedy was shot while inside a Ford automobile, in car 7 in the motorcade.
    14. Both were pronounced dead in places with the initials P.H. (Lincoln in the Peterson House, and Kennedy in Parkland Hospital)
    15. Both of their assassins escaped, and were killed before going to trial.
    16. Both of their assassins were privates in the military. Each was detained after the shooting by a policeman named Baker. Both were eventually killed by a Colt revolver.
    17. Both Lincoln and Kennedy were succeeded by southern ex-senators named Johnson who were born in '08. Both Johnsons were in their mid-fifties when they took the office and both suffered from urethral stones (the only presidents to have them). Both Johnsons could have run for re-election in '68, but chose not to.

It so happens that Christianity gave us Western Civilization as far as rational thinking goes. Christianity gave us the University system, schooling for the poor--you'd be worshipping a wolf with a lion's head if there'd hadn't been any Christianity, and you'd NEVER have had any rational learning! It was Christians who were the first abolitionists, the first to give women an education, the first to provide hospitals, orphanages, and to argue for humane treatment of animals. Also classical music, optics, and astronomy. (Galileo was NEVER tortured--he was the pre-eminent scientist of the time). A Catholic priest gave us the Big Bang theory. Is that rational enough for you? I could go on. But you get the drift.
Christian countries abolished slavery over 150 years ago, and based on Scripture. I don't much know who Ray Comfort is, and I don't much care. I doubt I'd be welcome in his church anyway. But the fact that some fundamentalist churches are irrational and intolerant does not mean all of them are. The weird ones make the news, but in fact almost none of them are anything like the Westboro Baptist Church. In fact, they protested in front of my church during a military funeral, so you can be sure we're not that type. Neither are the Lutherans, Methodists, or Episcopalians.
I can't try to "save you from hell," which is my point. You won't listen anyway, even if I try to convince you. So why don't you lay off? What are you afraid of?

No serious historian denies the existence of Christ or the resurrection. The ones who are get their ideas from Satanists so it's no wonder that they are so hostile to God. I like this video because it's short and sweet. It's perfect for teenagers and such who get duped by these lies. It’s even worse than the video says. We celebrate Jesus’ birth on December 25, but no one actually thinks he was born then. If memory serves, the predominant view is that he was born in the spring. So any comparison of Jesus to other figures based on a common December 25 birthday is meritless.

The stories about Horus do not state that he was crucified, however, he was stung by a poisonous scorpion as a child and died. When his mother finally found him and cried out to the other gods for help, Thoth was said to have raised him back to life.

Considering that Horus was just a common practice that actually differed from person to person due to a lack any strictly written lore, I'm not surprised some rando went out of his way to try and troll Christianity with false claims. As well as tricking many nonbelievers afterwards with these lies, because any excuse is good enough not to actually research.
