The Adventures of Sir Calvin the Almost Gallant
zhlédnutí 26KPřed měsícem
You know how when you tell Calvinists that their theology is bad, instead of defending their theology, they tell you that your theology is just as bad as theirs? That's the joke here. That's the one joke in this here video.

Come On Home, My Love

A wee bit ago, I decided to write the saddest Irish ballad that has ever been written in the history of civilization. I succeeded. And as a St. Patrick's Day gift, I now share it with you. This song was sung by the very talented young Miss Ryenne Bair. The pictures were created by giving increasingly chaotic prompts to an AI image generation bot. This video is not at all theological in nature, ...

To support the ELCE, go to lutheranchurch.org.uk To ...
Mary Tells Us What She Knew

Yes, Mary pretty much knew all that stuff in "Mary, Did You Know." But Mary knowing that stuff doesn't make the song bad. But also Mary knowing that stuff not making the song bad doesn't make the song good. Guys, the song is fine. Chill out.

Classic! Can someone breakdown the snake farmers joke at the end?…
Whoever runs this account has my sense of humor, which hasn't changed since 2014 so I guess that works...
If I ever start a band, I'm going to call it Affirmation Creep.
I'm a former Christian, and I absolutely love these videos. So clever and funny.
Lutherans are so mad that other Protestants disagree with them without realizing that those disagreements stem from the erroneous, heretical doctrine known as Sola Scriptura.
This is excellent
The millstone is wild
It's funny, but I'm not really sure how it's about Calvinists. I thought maybe it was teasing Total Depravity at first but that doesn't make sense with your description. I've never really heard Calvinists argue against Lutheranism by saying its worse with no defense of Calvinism. If anything, I've only ever heard that Luther was a confused Calvinist because Calvinists honor and respect him so much.
The distinction between ceremonial law and moral law doesn't account for the punishment of such laws, additionally, I fail to see how Jesus coming from the Jews somehow stopped just because he died for everyone, especially since he himself defended Mosaic law. Additionally, this only really works if you consider Jesus to actually be the Messiah instead of a heretic renounced by the Jews he tried to get his authority from.
I attended a non-denominational church during some of my early teen years. This sounds about right.
Can anyone tell me how Lutheran Satire does the mouth warping of historical portraits?
"I'm the Deeeeean."

Who needs hymns when we have Psalms?

This isn't new. Back in medieval times, the pope banned crossbows.

Did bro just use the Mother of God as a mouthpiece for his musical opinions?
Is it wrong that I like this proper English song and want a mp3 version of it?
What if there was a *Greek* myth about a figure who made humans out of clay, then saved mankind, was crucified by the gods as result, wounded in the side, and then resurrected? Would you think that was a suspicious parallel to the Christian god/Jesus?
Bring um back
Nephrectomy (nuh-FREK-tuh-me) is a surgery to remove all or part of a kidney.
Wow. Y'all really hate separation of church and state, people with nob-mainstream gender identities, and basically anything progressive that much, huh? Lord in Heaven, save us from so-called "Christians" who can't stand the idea of being decent people and fulfilling our Christian duties ourselves, instead of getting the government to enforce Christian morals on everyone with the weight of secular law.
Yeah... no... Hallelujah is not at all *just* about sex. Its about how relationships when they aren't healthy deteriorate unto death. Regardless, though, Hallelujah is still not a Christmas song
Aaannnddd Jeffrey Epstein and John McAfee didn't kill themselves
I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical on this but you got me with: "I thought your explanation was gonna be . . . more believable than mine?" This skit was a lot funnier than I thought it would be, great job!
How the heck do peasants know more about trinitarian heresies than the trinity itself?? Lmao
Me on the right
Still not funny.
I love Lutherans, but yall aint funny! Crickets yall! God bless!
The funniest thing about this is how it reinforces the stereotype that Germans are just not funny. Love you guys! God bless!
Fun fact for a long time I believed in the rapture and when I was little if my parents were working in the garden or something and I couldnt find them I used to panic internally that they'd been chosen and not I and they'd been raptured away. One of the many reasons to not allow Tim LeHaye to influence your theology

Lies, My goodness, Catholics and Lutherans will stop at nothing to defend their stupid, pagan hellidays. Literally all false statements in this horrible videos.
Are Donall and Conall sure they are illiterate? They remember so many things about grammar that I struggle to keep up with and I'm a college graduate!

The word bible isn't in the Bible
Doesn't Peter say that the meaning of the dream was that Gentiles can be brought into the faith?
Defending the jews and racemixing?
My sixth and seventh grade religion class understood the joke without explanation, though the understanding of Calvin, Luther, etc. made it a little funnier to some.
More specifically the "culture you were born in dictates what you believe" is a genetic fallacy.

even done as brilliantly parodically as this, cRap/shitHop is still cRap/shitHop., and this fat old baldguy dont do cRap/shitHop; as you point out another of your vids, evil musical forms can do aught but evil, regardless of purity of intent of creator/performer. noob here myself, been running thru your entire repertoire over n over during lcoal rainy days here, so i cant pin the vid wherein you demonstrate that impure musical forms are impossible to 'adapt'/'adopt' as praise music, let alone in church gatherings, let alone as actual worship service accompiment, but does not that vid point apply to your cRap/shitHop herein, fren? God Bless you and your Beloveds, Brother; and re these brilliant gently pointed vids: plzzzz keep em coming? ;-)
Too many unenthused here in the comments; this is gold! By this line of arguing the Calvinist outs himself as seeing all theology through a slightly dismal lens… Also the credits, “if you don’t like me using AI artwork give me money so I don’t have to” 🤣😂
