I bought one of these in 2021. It has been completely reliable with over 7000 kilometres passed now. It is like riding an old classic with perfect reliability and ease of use. I think I will never sell it!
The same. Bought one in february 2022. Have put 15.000 km since, flawless.

@@dostoevsky90 The only service i have payed for is the one at the first 1000 kms. They took me 100 euros(at the dealer) for oil and filters change and a bit of chain adjustment. Since then i am doing everything in garage by myself. Its a pretty simple bike to work on and if you want to save some money, you better learn to maintain it yourself.

I am 78 and my first motorcycle was a 1946 BSA single 500cc, magneto, manual advance and retard, wonderfully weak drum brakes, replaceable cork inserts for a clutch, no rear suspension, kick start ,vibrated cast iron barrel and head and went around 40-50 mph cruise. Now that was a great ride for years going back and forth to work at a Suzuki dealer where I worked as a mechanic in the early 70's.
Beautiful bike on a beautiful ride in the mountains. Wow! A bike you pilot, not stear. It put smiles on your face and that is what riding is all about.

I finally got mine 2 weeks ago and I cannot agree with you more. It's fun to ride and you can't make it go faster. It's slow af 😅 but fun. Top speed around 110 kmh. Heavy 400cc bike.
A video testing the speedo 'accuracy' against GPS, gave an actual top speed of 80 mph @ 7,000. Which is the rev limiter.
The speedo probably claimed 92 mph I think! 😅
Hopefully the tacho is completely accurate. But it suggests a gearing of approximately 11.42 mph per 1000, - meaning peak torque at 3,500 gives exactly 40 mph, & 4,000 just under a true 46 mph, which is a nice gentle cruising speed.
5,500, max power, would be a GPS 63 mph, & 6,000 68.75 - 110 km.
Just for the reference of others who may be interested in its real world ability without speedo optimism: which is up to 12 mph at some points 😳
Have mine since one year. After 5000 km the saddle becomes more comfortable. Changed the rear shocks for YSS BRAVO RD222- 340 P- 06 X. Much better!! Nice review!

Ce tare ca se mai fac clasice din astea. Credeam ca a mai ramas doar Ural pe piata cu astfel de modele :). Spor sa ai!
E o reteta interesanta daca cauti senzatii tari din 1950 dar cu plasa de siguranta a franelor moderne si ABS-ului :))
Alternativă mai ieftină la RE Interceptor 650. Frumoasă și asta! Îmi amintesc ambele de Honda CB 750-4 din filmul Terminator.

The only downsides I can see with this bike are that it's probably going to be a struggle to keep it nice after a couple of English autumn and winters riding and that the speedo is quite a bit out
But otherwise fantastic value and I imagine it feels great riding a classic style bike.
It does have a certain feeling to it.

I love this bike and am also thinking of going for it. But a little worried about the ‘Tube tyres’ that we are getting on this bike, here in India.
Should I be worried at all? Or ‘Tube tyre’ not that big of a dealbreaker?

I personally don't like tube tyres because you can't fix them quick and easy on the side of the road like a tubeless tyre. But then again a lot of people have bikes with tube tyres and are running them without a problem. So it depends more on your own preferences. QJ has the SRC500 which is this bikes twin brother with tubeless tyres I think if QJ is available in your country.

Frumos explicat, urmaresc sa mi cumpar prima mea motocicleta si pusesem ochii pe un Suzuki tu250x dar din pacate sunt disponibile doar in Sua,asa ca urmatoarea pe care am vazut o si ma atrage este aceasta, vreau una cu aspect classic care sa nu aiba si un monstru de motor. Pretul actual este 4500€ noua.

i have a red one since june and will put a more confortable seat and, as you have said about suspensions, i will put better too.

Nice review. How do you think it would respond at travelling with two passengers at a trip of let's say 200 klm ?
It should be fine, depends how hard you ride it, it's not a race bike :))
Got mine from Brasov, which is about 200 km from my home. Took the train with my brother to get there, bought it, and rode it back home. It handled the trip beautifully, we are 90 kg, respectively 75, and the engine was not struggling to carry us. We also caught a little bit of rain, and the bike behaved really nice, brakes were good.
If you like the back roads and slow traveling, look no further, you can get some really good deals on them

this bike is for classic bike lovers. The same bikes are built by royal enfield in india but they are more powerful and reliable
I bought this bike today, drove 120 km home and later could not find, how to open instrumental box on left side. Wanted to check what is included there. Please advise me how to do it.
Read your manual please. I have no ideea only had the bike for a 30 minute test ride.

How would you say is it comfortable in 100kph or is that too much for the engine?
I think 90-100 is kinda of the max cruising speed.

It's very easy to ride, it would make a great beginner bike.
You'll only ride with your Visor open until you get hit in face with a bug, even at 30mph it can feel like a stone.😂😂
