I've seen a recap of the same movie with a text to speech narrator. Now I saw this and actually laughed, this is amplified with his great sense of humor.

Love this channel, usually film recappers try to make it all as objective as possible and I understand why, but this guy hits a spot somewhere in the middle. It's not a review, but it's not a technical recap either, I love it, keep up the good work

5:04 Yes. We can only see a light that reflects off an object and reaches our eyes. If we're invisible (in which case light can't reach our body) we shouldn't be able to see anything.

His body was still physically there, it reached his eyes since they were indeed still there.
@@thecensoredmuscle563 In this case eyes should either reflect or "consume" light. If it does neither, it means that light doesn't reach the eyes.
What kills me is he had time to change the codes, but not take all the goggles or the tranq guns. What a genius.

My idea is that he was getting so wrapped up in his aggression that he wasn't thinking clearly OR maybe in his hubris he wanted to leave the tools to control his game and feel good about 360 no-scoping his colleagues.
Not that I'm not a plot hole poker myself, but they were keeping tabs on him, IE why he hacked the camera. He was likely able to change codes via a computer without arousing suspicion, but taking equipment they use daily out of the lab or destroying it would be much harder. There was always someone else there. (Haven't seen the film in years though)
Daily Dose : "This guy threw a really shiny rock inside of a river and took a picture at the exact time it fell on the water."
Minute Movies : "This dude threw Dwayne Johnson inside of a river and took selfies of themselves kissing."

Well his eyes arenât visible but they should still be able to absorb light as well as letting it pass through them and therefore send signals to to his brain to then proses the images which is what we see ( I am not an expert I am just saying what I am thinking , if anyone know feel free to correct me ) , also it could just be a plot hole
I think it's a plot hole, unless you could see the rods and cones of his eyes when he was invisible. But that would be really hard to notice IRL. Wouldn't have hurt if they said they had 'scienced' the eyes to still receive light while invisible. Also, how many HP did this guy have? His plot armor was strong indeed!

He would be blind. Simply put, the eye takes in a tiny dot of light, flips the image, and the light interacts with photoreceptors. Being invisible, light isn't limited to a tiny pupil sized bit of light, doesn't flip the image, and doesn't interact with the photoreceptors.
If for some reason the photoreceptors could absorb light, they would be visible, and he would see upside down but with no focus and the photoreceptors would be bombarded from all sides with hundreds of times more light than they are supposed to. Think about the pain you feel walking out of a dark room or movie theater while the sun is out. Now imagine you couldn't close your eyes or even squint. That intense light is still limited to your pupil size so now imagine if your eye was letting in 100x more light from all angles. Ouch.

I think the light bounces off of the person, but then bounces out and swerves around the person. That seems to be a BS enough explanation for how you can see without losing your invisibilty.

no he wouldnt be blind because even though the eyes are invisible they theoretically should function normally and adjust to the light. The weird thing would be how the eyes are getting adjusted to so much light.
Well no, light would pass through his eyes and therefore not create an image on his retina. There would be no stimulus that triggers a signal being sent through the optical nerve to the brain > blindness.

The fact that at the beginning when he just invisibilised he was naked all the time between them and sitting everywhere makes it weird at least.
PD: even if he were able to see with invisible eyes he still would go around like a blind person since he can't know for sure, at least at the beginning, where the rest of his body is
technically you don't need to see your body to know where it is. For example, if you close your eyes and touch the tip of your nose with your finger, this is known as kinesthesia
