I just bought the 6x24 combo sluice, and I got to tell you, it pulled 11 grams from 7 buckets that I have run through my other sluice multiple times before. The Dream Mat made me a believer, and I'm not sure how I missed this product before, but I ordered another and looking forward to hitting the next stream soon.

I purchased this basic kit, and for me, it just isn't the right thing for the type of gold I mine. I work a desert area, hard rock mining. It's a rarity when I find a 50 mesh piece of gold. On average, the gold I get is about 180 mesh, some somewhat larger, and a lot down to 400- mesh. I've been running my cons from my big sluice through a gutter cleanup sluice with ribbed door matting, and can capture that 400- mesh gold. I just did a test with this little sluice, and it blew all the gold right through it. I set it up as the brief instruction say. Water flowing as hard as some videos show with this unit, might manage 100 mesh, but the type of gold I mine just flows right over these scientifically engineered vortex riffles. I'm going to try running my cons in 20 mesh increments starting at 100 mesh to see just how the water flow in this sluice box affects them. I believe this sluice could retain small sized gold if it is run in small classified groups, and the water pressure adjusted appropriately.
“What kind” of Dream Mat(s) are in these clean-up sluice’s including extensions?? Cape D, Micro, Mini, Vortex.??
