I watched a good size nugget fly right off the dream mat into the bucket when you had the camera recording it lol still catches a lot looks good wish it was affordable for newbs
The coating on your sluice looks good. Like speckal wear . can the white dots be a capture color like green or purple or blue? My local dirt would magically land on all the white spots because thats how my life works lol. Id like to see a Matt made to work with the feed area lower than the high area , i bet it would work like a blue bowl of tuned correctly.
Just got the combo mat. Does material need to be classified to 1/4 inch? Even at 1/4 inch some classified rocks are hanging up on the larger mat..... More water flow, ......more angle?
I was thinking of using this as my primary for small paydirt bags, but I'm kind of worried it wont catch the larger pickers, like number 8 mesh, will it pick these up?

That's a nice looking sluice, I like the finish (hammer tone powder coat?) who makes them? The kind of gold you are pumping down that sluice, 98% of us will never see, the real test is the flour, that's the bread and butter stuff and dream mat can't be beaten on it.

The flow is way too fast. You should CV have not had any gold past the mini mat or the very top of the micro mat. It is all the way down the mimi mat and probably out of the sluce. Letting it run a longer at the end or panning off a handful of 1/2" gravel us not so much effort. Just a little tuning.
Same question. I would think you would want to catch the big stuff first in the larger areas and then the other material at the second half using the Micro Mat. Please reply as I am curious about that. Thanks.

I just recently ordered a 6x42 with both mats. I can't wait to try it out. Most my area is low flow and that's one of the main reasons I bought it.

I run the mini on the slick plate of my mini highbanker. I run the regular dream mat on the bottom. Works great & they both catch gold.

Seems that a mico mat would be great for beach gold.
It is, it will fill up quickly with the black sands requiring more cleanups. They sell a beach sand mat that is amazing.
