i like how in CSGO we joked that the game was "full of cheaters" but now we have cs2 premier to really show what "full of cheaters" really means.
I was global/supreme with high trust factor, I always had amazing games with no cheaters. Absolutley no spinbotting. Now I get it every 2-3 games.
@@Josh-vg8zmI had nearly 2000 hours in csgo and was LEM by the end of it, I had maybe 2-3 spinbotters total in that entire time because I had high trust factor. Like you cs2 is just nearly every game there is usually multiple cheaters.

I just visited a cs cheating subreddit where low-life losers freely discuss cs cheats. The funniest trend I saw there is that the cheaters themselves generally don't recommend playing premier because... it's full of cheaters. Apparently it's not satisfying to get shit on every game when you want to ruin games for fun and you basically can't because there will be someone with a better cheat. I mean, just fucking think about it. Cheaters themselves don't enjoy high ranked premier games because there are other cheaters in every game! I'm not making this shit up 🤯

one of the worst thing about the whole cheating thing is when you actually get bested by someone and dont know if they are better then you or cheating... Whenever i play CS2 im always so damn paranoid about getting a cheater. It absolutely RUINS the comp experience. I wish i could play the game without worrying about cheats :(

Only way to tell the gaming industry where to put the focus on: stop playing, stop spending money there. Everyone who complains but still plays CS and buys skins, just tells Valve: "great job, keep it up and squeeze more money out of me"

I never wanted cs2 its been a buggy mess since the beginning and people saying they couldn’t make it two separate games because of skins is both coping and dumb because they can and I think they have done similar things to having a shared game inventory (or at least shared game items) in the past like with the black rose from ava being a tf2 item.

Skins or virtual good that can be RTM'd are online game's cancer. TF2 has skins - TF2 was swarming in bots until it's community shrunk into few heavily moderated servers. Tarkov has ingame and irl loot market - Tarkov players are gurgling in cheaters' cum. CS:GO (valve could go f. itself calling it cs2) is going the same way. Free market possibilities turns ANY game into a smoking pile of shit. Market failures.
Shiny skins and less maps/game modes
I grew up beeing serious about my hobbies, mainly football and CS. I play CS since 1999 and have 30.000~ hours. Since CS2 I'm not serious at all anymore. Have played 4 matches in 6 months and I just hope to plaly in the lowest possible rank. I've never seen such a bad state of any game ever and we talk about a game which gave the company one billion dollar for case opening last year alone. The lack of skill, ability and even care from valves side is absolutely ridiclious.
You described the problem in your comment. They're a company and companies make money.
I'm sure they'll fix it some day but no need to rush because there are still more than enough players and more than enough turds who'll open some cases.

I have a lot of energy because of a big heart/high blood pressure, went the professional path in football since I was able to walk and beside 3 main hobbies (CS, football and WoW) I did nothing but study/work I was success in all things but I didn't really had a childhood because there was never a time where I could've relaxed, go to a party etc. So my problem always was to lay back and not be productive since I can think. :/

Cs2 is dead. At this point there is nothing that Valve can make to fix this, as the game it self has been so poorly coded. They would need to make a full recode of cs2 and I am sure that the stock owning dinosaurs won't want to allocate tens of millions for that.

Or valve is paid by faceit, so players are forced in to faceit. Considering faceit utilises kernel level anti cheat, they can simply spy on you and sell your data to data brookers. Also If you delete counter strike from earth valve would barely notice it, it makes a tiny percentage of the Valve's total income.

After learning the things I learned last year, I am just slowly quitting FPS games. I always was the dude who said "nah, not a cheater, they are rare" then the statistics for some games got shoved into my face and now I am just demoralized totally.

Welcome to my experience with FPS games in the mid 2000's. Played CS 1.6, CS:S, Unreal Tournament 1&2, Soldier of Fortune, Ghost Recon, Battlefield 1942, and others. All of them had problems with blatant cheaters in them, SoF was probably the least affected out of the bunch but the rest of them were bad enough to make me quit multiplayer FPS games completely. And this is coming from a guy who would win 10-20 player deathmatch games in SoF while only using the knife.
Just play singleplayer or non PvP multiplayer games . Nobody can ruin the experiences with their cheats :-)

Csgo was really no different. Just mostly wh and soft aimbot at high elo so it felt like playing against legit people. Now that this issue is extremely obvious people are finally starting to pay attention on the spray patterns and micro movements (frame by frame), at which these soft aimbotters have been really obvious for a very long time. Even on multiple lan tournaments the top1 fragger has been using a private custom aimbot. What really bothered me was that none of the pro players made a number out of the obvious because they were worried that the community and sponsors would just call them a sour loser and what not...

I got to global in CS just before cs2 released. I've completely moved over to rocket league and I've been having a blast learning and playing that. It's sad to see where cs2 is and I'm contemplating selling my whole inventory at this point
I'm a triple global elite player from csgo, played cs since 1999. I just started playing CS2 two weeks ago, 20 hours and I still havent won enough games to get a rank. In CSGO, when starting at lowest rank, I would run around in godmode and own everything, like first 10 games would be pure win untill I got my rank.
Now in every game, I just get rekt by wallhackers or toxic kids blocking, team damaging or votekicking you because they are emotionally damaged and you're not playing according to their ideal.
Absolutely disgraceful game.

After 20 years of gaming , I can state with the hand on my heart , I have never experienced any game ever with so many cheaters. I really loved this game , from the 1.3 version where you played fy_jungle to CS2 , but it hurts to say that its just absolutely unplayable .

I really don't know what's better. Whether getting wiped by spinbotter in 13:1 fast fashion game or 13:11 against a sneaky c**t who makes it look "tight" but you never had a chance to begin with.
You could argue that you can at least have a game for yourself, it's only now and then that you meet the WHer is really blatant and does the ferrari-peeks 100% success. Again many would argue "they are just better than you". I have no problem admitting when I meet a better player. I can tell who has skill. I've been playing this game in all its versions for 24 years and I'm not your typical casual player either.
This game is just fully rigged with hackers. Period.
Faceit or Premier is like choosing between taking a bullet or slow knife death.
The best way to play cs2 now is:
1. Deathmatch. (i played like 2 hours every 2-3 days and i didn't find any cheater, possible i was just lucky idk)
2. Community servers but it's broken, i can't see/find any servers idk if is just for me but if for you is working just play there for now.
3. Play competitive matches but on the maps that you have a low rank. (silver - gold nova)
4. Play on training maps to train you aim while waiting for the anticheat and for dont losing the skill.
This are all the gamemodes i played now and in case you still find cheaters (without the training maps) just quit cs2 and come back when the anticheat will work.
[Dont play on premier cuz there are alot of cheaters even on low elo]
While waiting for the anticheat you can play another game you like!

This is coming from a long time TF2 player, who has followed/played Counter-Strike for several years, I never thought I would see the day where Valve would fumble the bag by not addressing or fixing the issue of hackers/bots in their games. I like to give Valve the benefit of the doubt that they'll do something and it's been that way since 2020. Now this is affecting Counter Strike with an even bigger playerbase. We're just seeing sticker capsules and cases rather then an update to their anti-cheat which will benefit EVERYONE (CS, TF2, Dota). What you said of simply hopping on the game and queue with randoms is a feeling most of us miss now. Even if we (Team Fortress players) have community servers and y'all have FACEIT, it is not the same because the reason behind it is avoiding hackers from the official matchmaking experience.
Yeah its been a harsh realization the past few years that the hope valve is actually working hard to fix this is just false. I could understand them giving up on tf2 and focusing on other things but the fact they're letting cheaters ruin cs2, the primary product means they're just fucking clueless about how to fight these hackers. I'm tired of giving them the benefit of the doubt. They had decades of a headstart to make a good fps anticheat and Riot surpassed them immediately, what a shame. Even ignoring the cheaters the "competitive" ranking system in cs2 is a joke.
Finally people wake up to the fact that Valve is no longer a game company, it's a tech company. Last 5 games were either flops(artifact) or tech demos to promote hardware(half life vr game). Their games are like toys, they can make 100 versions of tf3 hl3 or whatever and scrap them 1 hour later. They drop their toys one by one: half life, day of defeat(literally the best ww2 shooter of its time left to die), left 4 dead, team fortress, and finally it's time for cs2. Why? Because there is Steam. Like 95% of income is steam, steamdeck and other hardware and 5% is their games. ALSO Valve is a private company, there are no investors that will press on them or smth, as long as the holders of the company (Gabe Newell) are happy, the company will not change. To oversimplify: If Gabe Newell is okay with the fact that cs2 will flop, cs2 will flop. Gaben's favorite game is DOTA 2, and developers actually did a major anticheat update a year ago.
Valve has literally 0 reasons to care about cs2 as long as Gabe Newell doesn't care.

In tf2 you can do something against the cheater. In cs2, you are held hostage.
Funny thing, playing premier is the only way to play the game "for real". Casual mode is an atrocity. So, the only way to play the game is to play Premier. And premier is unplayable. Only thing you can do is play on faceit.
Tf2 has that strength that the "real game" is casual mode. So your experience isn't ruined by cheaters (well mostly just bots), you can kick them. Tf2 has been literally infected by a malware, and still, you can enjoy the game.
Cs2 doesn't have a bot issue, it's worse than that. There is basically no way to play "casually" without getting fucked over
I have quit cs and switched to r6 and Its been the most fun I have had playing games in a long time. Its crazy how different a game feels when the dev team actually cares about it

R6 is infested with cheaters at high ranks to the point where you'll see one almost every game. Any good player will tell you this.

I was a hardcore CS 1.3 and 1.5 and 1.6 player and I decided to do a revisit with CS 2. 20 years later and within 5 min on de_nuke I already quit. I never experienced so many cheaters in one game. You would have thought that this cheater problem would have been solved by now. What a tragedy
I used to play Danger Zone a lot in csgo, and back then I thought the DZ cheater situation was bad (there'd be at least 1 blatant cheater every 15-25 matches, so much worse than in CSGO MM, but still somewhat playable), but NOW? Oh my days this is the absolute worst CS has ever been. I've been playing since 2017 and from what I can remember, it never took that long to fix basic problems with core gameplay.
There's also a lot of stuff missing, and I'm not even talking about maps or gamemodes. Like you can't even use a clan tag anymore or choose your favourite color. cl_righthand and cl_bob_lower are missing as well, the demo viewer doesn't show previous majors and you can't download demos from the Copenhagen major either. And those aren't even the worst ones. For instance, it's still impossible to create a custom server to be able to play with friends. Just like the server browser, it simply doesn't work.
I just hope that they bring DZ and other gamemodes back and somehow fix the cheating problem, that'd be enough for the next couple months.
Man, as a DZ main, I really miss DZ. You are absolutely right. 1 in 20 games would have some moron blatantly using aim. I recently played my first two wingman games. Both had spinbotters in them. The only gamemode I can enjoy right now is mm at Silver 3 but I miss the other stuff. I miss surf, I miss demolition. What is Valve doing man?

I recently switched to The Finals, and I'd say it's alright, good substitute for my main FPS and it also motivated me to learn some new mechanics and overall gameplay is very refreshing. It's not as hyped as it used to be, but I'm okay with that tbh.

Played with a friend and we were doing well 11-5 and a guy on their team left, came back, and instantly started getting headshots and stuff. One guy was trying to kick them but people also encourage this behavior on their own team so its like we cannot do much unless Valve gets them which they didnt and we tied. They also instantly rejoined when they did get kicked so nice to know the kicking system is also failing.

I hope you understand where a shitty / medicore person ends up rank wise with a wh and sure hs on every 3rd bullet.
It is kinda funny to think that the match feels fair if aimbot only hs at every 3rd bullet, that gives you 2 bullets to hit that one tap and makes it feel like a fair match against a legit skilled player.
back in csgo, hackusations were looked down upon since most hackusations are just silvers complaining about someone whos better. but now hackusations are like 90% accurate which is just sad.
even csgo was cheater infested but since vac did at least work a little bit, most cheaters didnt cheat obviously in csgo, mostly wallhack, radarhack, kind of aim hacks. Now that there literally doesnt exist vac anymore in cs2, cheaters dont care and go fully blatant.
Once in csgo i tracked 77 confirmed vac banned cheaters in 150 Matchmakings with pretty much always a full 5 stack premate lobby, that means there have been one cheater in 1 out of 2 matches AT LEAST. There had been even more cheaters probably because not everyone got banned. Those was in between the rank range of DMG - Global Elite.
the problem always was that you could never be sure if youre just bad or if they actually cheated. but now its more plausible then in csgo

Valve dont care since big streamers open 100cases per day making them money. As much as I enjoy watching Ohne, unfortunately as long as they (skins streamers) will open these cases Valve wont do shit about cheaters- why would they? They still making a lot of money from cases. All CS streamers (playing CS, not looking at skins) should spread word to stop opening cases until Valve does something. Best way to make Valve act is to starve them from money

I was bad in csgo and rarely played, a couple of months ago i started to play cs2 premier very actively, began in 11000 rating and a week ago managed to hit 15000 for the first time. That was after losing 7 uprank games and im now at 14000 again after 7 game cheater streak. I have to say the difference between low 10000-15000 is insane in regards to how many people cheat. I have also lost a lot of enjoyment and in contrast to the 5 to 10 games i played before reaching my peak, i barely play one game daily anymore
Edit. I have to agree that im genuienly happy when i figure out that someone is "only" wallhacking. Sad that that is something to be happy about

Almost every single match I'm in, be it 12-15k Premier or Gold Nova MM, always has at least one or two players who seem odd while playing, then I load up the demo and see how almost every single time they are so insanely blatant it isn't even funny

Great video, I'm also casual player and cheaters ruined fun for me and my friends. I would also add, that it's really wierd, that on-line shooter don't provide option of trening or playing with friends only. For example, we are four at the lobby and there is no in-game option to play wingman for fun 2vs2. You need hamachi and console options to do it. It's beyond my mind, that you can create on-line only shooter with such a poor on-line options.
You have to do it the old school way and host ur own server if u want a whitelist.

I used to play with group RAGE DERANK of 2 or 3 to not get kicked and to have few randoms and whenever we got hacker or mad players we just ran into their molotov, when they threw decoy we learned how to nade ourselves to 3hp i believe and waited on decoy to kill us, not defusing etc. And it was so good. Whole group was just about this and helping just good guys no matter if they were enemy. Our goal was to get as many bans as possible and post it into group comments. Good feeling to see them get 7 days and making their last game a nightmare

I have 6k hours and been playing for the past few years. Whenever people complain online about cheaters, I thought they were just whiners because I ran into maybe 1 cheater every 50 games maybe playing mm. My rank fluctuated between LE to LEM.
But in CS2, it was so bad. I just quit playing mm altogether and only played casual and deathmatch. I have a faceit account but I'm so reluctant to open it.
It's so fucking sad. Valve made billion of dollars off this game and cannot get rid of the most blatant cheating. Like spin bots. It's not a lack of knowing-how-to but a lack of effort on their part.

I wasnt playing much cs2 in the first place aside from weekly deathmatch to recieve a drop. I told myself that i will not participate in any premier or ranked matches untill they will release VAC 2.0 or better anticheat cause at this moment 50% of the matches are with ground helicopters (on prime matchmaking).

Im personally at the point now where even when I want to play CS despite knowing there are cheaters I think to myself "why the hell would I waste my time in comp when I can play a comp game in valorant and make some progress on the battle pass while im at it?".
The only way to kind of enjoy CS at the moment is to play arms race and thats because games only last 5-10 minutes so even if there are cheaters, you'll only waste a little bit of time instead of wasting an entire hour.

Man its crazy that a lot of cstubers are at this breaking point, really says alot about the state of the game. I wonder if CSGO was really this bad at launch, or at any point. i just remember before trust factor came out, better players couldnt get global but otherwise all the other ranks were fine, but this was 2015/16, so maybe early players can shine some light on this.
