Your beautiful work is very customized… how do you figure out what to charge your client?

It looks custom, but to help save time in the quoting process I try to standardize as much as possible and have pricing set for each element. For instance, the circle arch covered half in an organic balloon garland has a preset price and includes the rental of the stand as well as the supplies and labor to inflate and attach the balloons. Then you add on the rental of the backdrop fabric and the rental or purchase of the hot air balloon props. Finally don't forget your set-up and delivery fee. It just takes some time on the front end figuring out how much each element should be priced at, but then you can quickly reference those number when bidding out a project.

I usually buy foam board at Hobby Lobby, but most stores that stock art supplies will have it.
