@Patrick Montgomery Protestantism is a man made hertical christian form of Christianity in witch there is no valid priesthood and liturgy. The rebellion of Protestantism (like yours) is a disobedience to the tradition of faith and the holy scriptures complied by the Catholic Church, the only true Church founded by Christ, so there are protestant communities and no churches. Jesus Christ loves his mother and we Catholic Christians are faithful to Christ and obient in faith, hope and love as our holy mother of God is. Catholics are Christians (the first one), not to see it like this would just be a personal conviction that has nothing to do with reality, only US-Protestants believe this nonsense. I also do wonder about this. Like, how are we to spread the gospel to non-Christians? I personally think we should do something like St. Paul did and challenge non-Christians in theological debate.

Jesus is the way...then why Catholics continuously pray to mother Mary..I was a Protestant...once I attended catholic retreat I fell in love with catholic worship...now converted to Catholicism...but many are there who always says...mother Mary is there...she will save...and none of them whom I know never take Jesus name...I feel very bad...but I am not like that...I pray to mother Mary but I don't worship her... please can you tell me about this...I am confused...and my Protestant friends always insult me...
If you are a Catholic, then you attend mass and you know that Catholics don't constantly pray to Mary! You know the difference between prayer and worship, dulia and hyperdulia. You also know about the communion of saints and how Mary points us to Jesus.
Might I suggest looking it up in the Catechism, which you can find online and even better, asking the priest at your parish. He'll give you a full explanation, better than a few words on CZcams. God bless.
We believe that Jesus gave to all Christians from the cross his mother as a spiritual mother. She never does anything but lead one to Jesus. Her last words quoted in Scripture are for us: "Do whatever he tells you" (Mary at Cana). Mary doesn't save. Jesus saves. But Adam didn't sin first, he was helped by Eve in that. Jesus, the only savior, is incarnate with Mary's consent to the angel. If Mary said "no" there is no incarnation. While Jesus saves, Mary opened the door to him and assisted him in all of his earthly efforts. And friends do not insult friends.
We always say "pray for us" when it comes to Mary.

And other prayers will always infer God has primacy over Mary either at the middle part or last part of the prayer.
And when friends insult me about my faith (it's like they are trained to question Catholics 😅), i take it as a challenge to deepen my faith. After 2 thousand years and countless men; church fathers, doctors of the church, apologists, who dedicated their lives rationalizing what we believe in, plus the billions who follow it - the answer is there, we just need to find it 😊

Because the Eucharist is not physically flesh, nor for our flesh ("the flesh profits nothing"), but substantially (what it means for His flesh to be sacrificed and salvific - recieved spiritually). Otherwise we'd all be glorified cannibals.

Is there any other WAY to God?... The English word "WAY" means "teachings and commandments" that are Pleasing and Acceptable to God which will lead us to Salvation... Therefore, Christ Jesus' WAY is pleasing, acceptable, and authorized by God, which will lead us to Salvation, based on the Bible... That is the true context and meaning of when Christ said, "I AM the only WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE." .... We could compare other Religions with their "WAY/S" (teachings/Commandments)...
For example, all Religions whose WAY/S that worship animal/s or person/s, is/are not pleasing and acceptable (abominable) to God... Any Religion whose WAY/S that offered animal sacrifices for the atonement of their Sins was no longer acceptable and pleasing to God according to the Bible... Dr. Pitre, you said a lot but you forgot to mention that the way to Jesus is through his bride, the Catholic Church.
Protestants usually say we follow and believe in Jesus, thus we are on the "WAY" and thus saved.
Ambiguous verses (Claiming Divinity):
- I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one sees The Father except through me (John 14:6)
- Before Abraham, I am (John 8:58)
- I and The Father are one (John 10:30)
- I am the alpha and omega (Revelation 22:13)
and no holy spirit there.
Clear verses (Denying Divinity):
- my Father is greater than I (John 14:28)
- my Father is greater than all (John 10:29)
- my Father is the only true God ( John 17:3)
- I am ascending to my God and your God (John 20:17)
- I by myself can do nothing (John 5:30)
- only The Father knows the hour (Matthew 24:36 )
- Jesus didn't know fig season (Mark 11:12 -14)
- my God, my God, why You forsaken me? (Matthew 27:46)

Pitre says Jesus said in Greek. No the words were first translated from Hebrew or Aramaic into Greek. There is no evidence at all that Jesus spoke to His disciples in Greek.
The catholic church tries to sell it's doctrine as the way. That is not true. Jesus said " I and the Father are One." Jesus is the name of God. The bible says there is only one throne in heaven. Catholis invented the trinity.

What is not understood is that God before the beginning of the world knew the ACTUAL future: exactly what will actually happen, the whole future history of mankind. Well, at that point God simply COMMANDED "SO BE IT" and became FREE from any further commitment !!! The God's words and actions of that well-determined future shall be taken AUTOMATICALLY by his POWER: his personal presence is NOT NECESSARY (this is why "God is a spirit", He is not personally present here). God was free to become like a NORMAL man: the Son of God. All that happened "before the foundation of the world", this is why "the world has not known you". "SON" of God means that He DERIVES from God. The Father and the Son are NOT the SAME ONE because the Father is the almighty God and the Son is like a normal man now, with no OWN power at all (He sits at the right hand of the POWER). Thus, you could say that God is more than ONE and less than TWO because the Father and the Son are not the same ONE, yet are not TWO distinct Persons.

No, my dear friend, "conventional" means FALSE, INVENTED in the fourth century, finalized after the Council of Constantinople. What is revealed by God - more particularly by Jesus - is that He is ONLY WITH THE FATHER. If you ever read the gospels, they disclose ONE RELATIONSHIP between Father and Son. FOUR GOSPELS ONE RELATIONSHIP. No disclosure of TWO relationships. The trinity doctrine is directly disproved by the directly concerned witness: Jesus. He doesn't even know what a triune God is, never heard of.
Jesus is The Way. Catholics are on a different way. The catholic church is described clearly in chapter 17 in The Book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ. The description fits none other.
considering it was the Catholic Church was the one who decided that Revelation should be in the Bible, it makes much more sense that chapter 17 is referring to Nero and the roman empire. The reason the whole book is speaking in riddles is because if they just came out and said it, the romans would have just killed them.
