I’m here watching January 13 th 2023 , Lisa Marie just passed away , it makes me feel so sad , she was 4 years younger then myself, I absolutely loved Elvis and I remember watching everything Elvis and still do today .. R.I.P Elvis & Lisa.
Great video.. Fantastic job..you look so young and know so much about ELVIS.. Awesome.. The film that had the Dune Buggy was LIVE A LITTLE LOVE A LITTLE..Great Job.. TCB ⚡⚡⚡
Hi Chris, I enjoyed your video. I am originally from Memphis, but have lived in Nashville for 36 years now. When I was young, about 19 or 20 years old, I was on the air as a radio personality in Memphis and worked for Sam Phillips' radio station WLVS. You may know that Sam owned Sun Records and discovered Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and many others. I saw Sam and talked with him regularly as he was often at the station. I also worked on the air with George Klein, one of Elvis' best friends since middle school. His air shift was the one before mine, so we talked some every day before we changed places at the control board. He was very nice to me, and I still remember seeing the emerald and diamond ring that he wore each day which was a gift from Elvis. I was only about 12 when Elvis passed away and I really wasn't into him or his music, but Memphis loved him and I did know about him. At the time of his death, my Mom realized how important that moment was to music history and drove me over to see the throngs of people that had lined the streets around Graceland. I couldn't believe it. It was a day or two after he passed. There were thousands. I didn't fully appreciate those experiences then, but I do now. Working for Sam and being with George Klein everyday, I was right there with the people who were in the center of all of it, and I wish I had spent more time talking with them about Elvis. I was just a kid though . Lol. Keep on making your videos!
I'm only a few years older than Lisa Marie. So heartbroken over her passing. I remember my mother and me crying when the news broke out that Elvis died. I was hoping to go to Las Vegas and see him in concert. Thank you for keeping his legacy alive ❤️
Thank you very much for sharing. It would have been perfect with a picture of Elvis beside each jumpsuit; and I'm not sure about the clothes of other people than Elvis' inner circle. The clothes of Elvis' band and the Sweet inspirations would be so much more interesting.
Ronnie Tutt’s drum set , wow , wish he could have shown them ! He was a big inspiration on my drumming career , James Burton was also , I had no idea James worked on SO many songs , Suzie q , working man just to mention a few !
some day bucket list will be nice to document this place. Love the history of Elvis. :) Grew up listening to him because both my mom and dad loved his music.
Great video. The best, I was there in 1987, and they added a lot more. Thank to you ,I never got to see.back then, you weren’t allowed to have a video camera or allow to take pictures on the property. Happy to see your video. I never would have guessed ,all the stuff he has.Thank you kindly ,I really appreciate your time and effort 🖖🏻🧔🏻♀️🐕🇺🇸
The 2nd black suit that you mentioned that you dont think you remember, was from the opening sequence of the 68 Comeback special when he sings Trouble and Guitar Man that opens the show.
The "launch" film with Elvis in the back of a car was filmed in a Cadillac, not the Pullman. Look at the shape of the C-pillar and windows in that film. I think Angie at Graceland also claimed it was the Mercedes, but it was not.
@31:53 that was the best Gatorade! I loved the glass bottles I remember the taste was so much better! I think they stopped making glass bottles in the late 90's 😔
Great video. You seem young to be an Elvis fan, and that's awesome but surprising a little? I'm nearly 50 and when I became an Elvis fan, I was around 17 and that was already unusual at that time for a kid like me to be a fan, I didn't know anyone else who was. He had already been gone for 13 years and Elvis wasn't exactly "popular" at that point, I remember that he was just this dude I vaguely remembered about with the weird capes from the 70's, until I accidentally fell into everything else. I went to Graceland the first time when his aunt Delta was still living there. That meant that the room she occupied (formerly Elvis' parent's room) and the kitchen were off base for the tours as she was still using them in her every day life.
Essas roupas de apresentação feitas só e unicamente para ele ( Elvis Presley) fazendo-o ser único, último e primeiro em suas apresentações e performance que somente ele saber distribuir como ele sabia fazer , e com talento nato.
I went in 1999 and I was there just last week. Everything had changed so much. If anyone goes you res need to tour Tupelo first to see how it all started.
We went to Graceland in August this year 2022. Candle light vigil Aug 15, Thru Graceland Mansion and this place on the 16th. This is the building I wanted to see SO BAD.. The SUITS... Me my Girlfriend and her friend. WE NEVER COULD FIND THIS...I asked the staff And They seemed To Not Give A DAMN If I Found Which building this stuff was in or Not. August Its over 100 Degree's. AND NO ONE KNEW NOTHING Except When Pay Day Was... Very Disappointed... Just A Job. Anyways we just left. didn"t go on the planes tho that was in our Ticket Package. Anyway's may go Back next Year BUT BEFORE I SPEND 1 DIME With Em, I'll Go thru This 1st.
Proper job, young Man. Very respectful and detailed film. I was hoping to see one of Elvis' Big mobile homes. I'm wondering if they are still known off?
Where’s the belt from the hawaii special, i think he gave a little kid in the audience one , who asked him at the beginning of the show, Elvis said you can have it later Kidd, hold up
just 20 seconds into this video I see that in the picture shown of the pink jeep elvis drove in the movie has the name graceland and the side lower panel right below the driver and at the museum there is no lettering and there is some lettering that I think reads willieys and not on the car, so where is the real car?
Love to see the younger generation noticing an amazing man.... Happy 88th birthday in heaven Elvis!

John Wilkinson died in 2013.
I didn’t know John wasn’t with us. I thought he was still alive my bad.
I was going to say something if no one else did.
