Agreed with that. A great idea. I always hated no matter how tightly you rolled or folded the cereal went stale so fast.
Also they're not trying to deceive everyone with a bigger outer cardboard box
@@Hawk1966 There's bag clips I use for everything from crisps to noodle packages, the good ones clamp it really tight and I had cereal stay crunchy for weeks. (I don't eat it often and it's usually not the crazy American sugar variety, but that shouldn't have too much of an impact)
In the US I sometimes find cereal in the resealable bags at discount stores like dollar general, and dollar tree. They're not a great value for money because they're $1 and way smaller than standard boxes, but you don't waste any so if you have to throw away stale cereal a lot it might be worth it.
Strange if you look down at the cheap cereal not the brand name, they are plastic with a Ziploc seal. 😆

Definitely think the apple cinnamon cereal was the worst! But I’m glad we could try all the cereals and I’m excited to eat more of the tea one 😄
Ugh it’s a tie between that and the chocolate matcha one😂 I’m honestly impressed at how bad they tasted hahaha

Hey when you ate the vanilla icecream flake you mentioned a weird after taste when you breathe out through yor nose you should get see an ear nose throat dr and and ask them to check for polyps
The company missed the opportunity to call the flakes Frozen Flakes lol

There's probably a patent on the name. But Fro-Zen might sneak through. They have the picture, so to anti up for the name probably wouldn't cost that much more.
Probably because the movie isn't called 'Frozen' in Japan.
I get the joke, but yeah - "Frozen" is called "Anna and the Queen of Snow" in Japan so...

This was great! All cereal video's are always about the cereals from the USA, so this is new!
Living in Japan with my American husband. I used to make rice ball or sandwiches for him.Now, he is working from home, and asked me to get some cereal for easy breakfast. (hard to make 3 meals while taking care of toddler.) He loves fruits granola with straw berry, and one pack is like 2 meals for him.Loved watching this video, thank you !
My breakfast when I was in Japan was tempura shrimp lol

Actually, the curry granola would be amazing with a pumpkin soup! I tried savory granola with soup and it was super yum!

Thanks Shar, it's been a rough two weeks since my mom passed and I had a good laugh with you guys trying these cereals. Few flavored sounds so weirdly different from anything I remember as a kid. . . Corn Pops, Apple Smacks, Cocoa Krispies and the always popular Lucky Charms.

That tea cereal sounds delicious! The last one you tried makes me think of the limited Honey Bunches of Oats flavors they had last year that were chicken and waffles and maple bacon donut. I tried the chicken and waffles flavor because I love giving anything like that a try and it was definitely an experience

The Matcha one in style seems very similar to a cereal we have in the UK called Krave (comes in white, milk or hazelnut chocolate flavours here)
We get Krave in the US too! I love it! I didn't have enough milk once and that's how I found out hazelnut Krave + 1/2 chocolate milk + 1/2 regular unflavored milk is the best treat in the universe.

The houjicha would be amazing! That's my favourite tea and a place in my hometown has houjicha ice cream that's the absolute best.
So in Poland, as a kid I used to eat milk with bread instead of cereals :D It's common :) It was very popular in 90's.

To me the Hershey's regular flavour is the best (I believe there are two regular flavours, my favorites are the black and whites ones)! But if you want it to be softer, you need to wait something like 5 minutes (which is usually what I do) :)
And I must say... I tried the matcha ones and I didn't really like it hahaha!

Its so interesting that they come in that type of packaging it makes me think of chips. The packaging is also small, I guess cause in USA people eat it more for breakfast that its bigger.

Amazon has weird taste altering pills that make sour/salty foods taste extremely sweet (usually cancer patients use them) so I wonder if they could help this sad cereal 😂😂

I admired the bravery shown in this taste test. I assumed you'd both try a couple of bites from each one but you went for it - even when you suspected they weren't going to be great! 😁
The description of the donut one sounds like corn pops, especially the texture. That tea one seems really interesting, would definitely try it. My favorite cereals are Honey Bunches of Oats (w/yogurt is the best) and Trix (because I am secretly a 6 year old), but I am that person who buys a box of the newest different flavored cereal because I have to try it. The only downside is I feel wasteful if I don't finish the box, so I have to keep eating it if it's gross.
I bought a berry granola in japan and it was amazing the best ive ever tasted
Can recommend Weetabix and cini minis. There are lots of Weetabix variants and all I’ve tries taste good. One can add whatever one likes to them and one package lasts lasts very long. Cini minis are delicious and the only cons to them are that they are made by Nestlé, that a package is really expensive for the relatively low content, and that they can be addictive.
Also I know Ferrero sells Nutella of different recipes depending on the country. Was wondering how Nutella tastes in japan
