Hope you enjoy this virtual tour of Fukuoka City! 🏝Huge thanks to Micaela for showing me around for the day💘
(This was filmed in Feb! Don't worry I've been locked away in my house for the past month😂)
Must be hard for you since you're a youtuber but safety first! i've been chillin at home too and going through my backlog of video games and animes that i was too busy to watch before lol
Yeah had a bunch of fun vids planned for March/April that had to be cancelled which is a bummer! But I enjoy filming at home too🥰
Love seeing you two together
This looked like so much fun, thanks for sharing Sharla! I loved the part where you showed the cat-themed store, everything looked so cute!
That berry sponge thing looks incredible, it's making me hungry! Thanks for another video to keep us entertained in lockdown, stay safe, love from the UK.
You showed incredible restraint in the cat store.
It wasn’t easy😭 If my suitcase didn’t have a weight limit I definitely would’ve gotten more😂
@@sharlainjapan could have gotten an additional suitcase ;)
Ikr.. i would buy everything there 😭💗
@@sharlainjapan I have no limits when it comes to cat merch or chocolate!😂
Ahhhh I wanna go back, I wanna go to the beach, I wanna eat delicious snacks, I wanna go outsiiiiiiiiide. Thanks for the memories, Sharla!
Was such a nice visit, already looking forward to coming back again!! Beach bbqqqq💕💕
Micaela ミカエラ your boyfriend is very handsome (^○^)
@@user-rf2wh2cr8w My boyfriend? ;o
Micaela seems like she would be a great friend.
Watched her vlog of this trip with Sharla. Can confirm. Shes down to earth, real, thoughtful, and just as wierd and silly at times. They're so frienddddddddddddd
She is🥰❤️
“You can get up to 5 desserts 🍨 🍮 🧁 “

I really want a fossil video!!! Japanese archaeology would be so interesting.
Yessss I’d love to make one! Glad you’re interested!
Archaeology and paleontology aren't the same thing.
Shannon Pierre Whoops!
That cat store needs to do internet sales world wide.
This was such a nice escape, being stuck inside for weeks is making me crazy
Fukuoka was the first place I ever visited in Japan and I stayed there for two weeks on my own. This video made me so nostalgic! I went to Fukuoka Tower and Canal City, too 😍
My father played baseball for the Lions in Fukuoka, thank you for showing me the city!
John Baumer
Your father is Jim Baumer for second baseman?
Sorry if it’s my misunderstanding..
Fukuoka Daiei Hawks vs Seibu Lions
I've been to Fukuoka only for 24 hours once and it was pouring rain. My friend at I hung out all afternoon at Canal City and ended up eating dinner at one of the yatai food stands that seem to be popular in Fukuoka. It was cold but the food stand had a roof and covers so the rain couldn't come in. We took the last two seats, the place was crammed. There was steam coming out of every pot and it smelled amazing. People started talking to us and we ended up drinking umeshu with strangers all evening.
Only 24 hours with very bad weather and still Fukuoka is a very fond memory.
Those Dango 8:30 look like they could be such a choking hazard for some people - HUGE!
Micaela always does such a nice job showing off her city.
more vlogs with Micaela please! this friendship chemistry is awesome
Yay! Another video!! They help so much during this quarantine! Hope you are doing well Sharla! 🌸
Love from Cali
The cat store! I'd have went insane in there! Everything was so cute, and all the black cat merch. I've got 2 black cat's (brothers). It's so beautiful there. TFS! Sharla, you made my day! Light, Love and Blessings💟
It was good watching this old one, glad youtube recommend it
When my husband and I went to Canal City in November, we saw 'Santa' perform with a water and lights show on the bottom level. It was so awesome.
Hope to be visiting soon....... One day i will see all this. Hope you are all keeping safe and healthy.
My grandfather was born in Fukuoka.
He was born on first day of the 20th century (01/01/01)! 😱
You look the happiest I have seen you in a long time
I always find myself smiling whenever I watch your videos! Thank you for how much effort you put into them!!
Micaelas videos are the reason Fukuoka is high on my travel list when coming to Japan :D
♥️♥️♥️♥️ that means so much to me thank you!
I used to live in Fukuoka a long time ago for a year. We were stationed at the USAF Base which is now a public airport Itazuke. I learned to love Japan then and just what an entirely different planet we were on. Very nice people and we found our first giant glass fishing net ball on the beach after a large storm. It hadn't quite hit the beach when we spotted it and dad jumped in freezing water and brought it back. I still have it all these decades later. I learned to speak a little and we used to go into Fukuoka all the time. Then we moved to Tokyo a year later.
I LOVE the intro with Charmander, it's very cute!!
The salad pizza looks so yummy...I would eat that everyday.
I look forward to your videos, they keep me sane during this quarantine! Love the video! Thanks sharla👍🤗💯
What a wonderful place, thanks for showing us, this is definitely on my bucket list now! 😍
no matter what i go through in life and how long it’s been since i last watch you sharla, over the past 7 years i find myself coming back and always enjoying your videos. thank you for helping me experience the culture i miss and want to go back to
Such a great outing spent daytripping!
I really loved all these spots, and that cafe looks like the best place to unwind and relax by the beach. Thank you for sharing these great little places! ♡
Always interesting to see an outing from the perspective of the different participants. I watched your video and Micaela's.
Appears that spring has already arrived in southern Japan.
Ahh! I used to live in Fukuoka and I miss it so much. Thank you for this my heart is so warm now.
Loved this so much! Brings back happy memories from when I taught English in Fukuoka although I missed so much it seems, will have to come back one day for sure! 😀🙏💕
I wish there was more content of you two! It's so fun watching you guys exploring places ❤️😊
fun place to hang out for a day, i spent back in 2011 when i was visiting fukuoka so much time there
I love how directional this video is 🥰🥰 definitely ganna use it as a reference 🙏🏻♥️ thanks alot sharla 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I loved this video! Made me really want to visit Fukuoka!
I have been catching up with your videos during quarantine and they are making me feel refreshed even though I am stuck at home! Thank you for sharing your fun experiences with us!
The view from the tower was beautiful.
Thanks for posting these!! It’s so nice to see outside 🙈
Thanks so much for taking us with you - love you both LOTS! and lots and lots and lots...
Great video! Nice to see the outdoors, as I'm stuck at home! 💖💖
Not being able to go outside (Northern Italy) these videos are amazinggggggg relief from being stuck inside all day, thanks for the uploads! :D
That looked like a really fun trip!
As though I needed yet another reason to want to visit Japan (a land that I've never set foot in, yet am somehow homesick for!) I am now subscribed, and am very much looking forward to more content. Domo arigato gozaimasu! 🥰
Love this area. I had no idea the city was so big when you went up in the tower. I'm sure it would be a wonderful place to go all on its own.
Everything in this video is so aesthetically beautiful 😍
I love Kyushu and Fukuoka. Canal city was my favourite shopping centre. I also enjoyed the underground shopping under Tenjin station too, like another world.
Did you visit the cat store 👀
Sharmeleon yes I did 😆. We had a good look through the shops. Fukuoka reminded me so much of where I am from in Australia with the chilled vibes. The people are so friendly and warm. I spent 3 weeks touring around Kyushu. We bought a rail pass for Kyushu. It was a shame we didn’t have the money to hire a car. It’s definitely on my list of places, to go back to since I’m living in Korea now.
Its so calm and beautiful. I am already feeling very hungry.
the sunflower cafe looks amazing😍 And the little walk you guys took while waiting for the food, perfect! I need to go to itoshima
Thank you and Micaela for sharing this with us~! Such lovely places you visited, I would definitely want to go there if I visited Japan. My favourite was the Cat Shop; I want to buy ALL the things~!
Micaela inspired me to travel to Kyushu - we’ve been twice and loved it both times. So many beautiful places. My trip to Tohoku however has been put on hold. It will come one day though.
What a cool coastal town. I’m reading Hear the Wind Sing by Haruki Murakami, and it takes place in a little Japanese coastal town - much smaller than Fukuoka City, I imagine! Great video! 👍
That cat mug at 9:08 - mood. I need that for my daughter, it would suit her so well.
Holy flipping way! That cafe looked like heaven, straight from a story book. Those places look amazing and definitely on my list.
Ultimate duo!
I love you both so much! 🧡
If I ever go to Fukuoka, I absolutely need to go to that café! So cosy.
I can't wait to move to Japan with my friend when I grow up!
Fukuoka! Great vlog. The dessert looks so good
Great vid Sharla, hope your doing well in this crazy world at the moment!
Sharla seems to be such a good friend to have! I love her
Such a great get away to watch while I'm quarantined yet working from home lol hope all is well for you there in Japan, Arizona just placed our stay at home order and things are about to get crazier for us here.
Much love from Arizona ❤️❤️
omggg i went to fukuoka for a few days last november! it's so nice!
I have been bingeing your videos because of the quarantine in the U.S. ( which was long overdue ) You make me feel like I’m actually back in Japan! Just wish I could taste all that yummy food!!!
I looove Fukuoka! definitely want to go there again!
This was so much fun to watch! I might be going to Fukuoka in August so these are definitely on my bucket list now!
Wow that 10 minutes FLEW by! Fukuoka City looks AMAZING! And I am 100% a beach person so I neeeed to go!!! Thank you for the awesome content as always!
Awwww i was hoping you will find your match this year. However you are much more happier nowadays. And i do believe you are doing very well now. Best of luck to you. As long as you are healthy and happy who need new love anyway 🤪🤪
The sunflower cafe is so cute
Your taste in music is amazing 💜💜
Wonderful ladies day. What a beautiful area Cool cat shop love it
Obviously LOVED the cat store, but that dessert!!! OMG! Looked so good!
Thank you though for continuing to upload vids in this crazy time we're in. Reminds us of things still out there we want to do and see. :)
So cool! ;) Thanks so much for the tour...:)
Those desserts look bomb 💣!!! 😋😋
I really have to check out Fukuoka. Loved that cat store and the little cafe by the beach.
I have family in Fukuoka. People can keep Tokyo, I'll take Fukuoka any day. It's honestly my favorite city ever.
It’s so beautiful!!! 🙌🏻😻
@@sharlainjapan Indeed 👍
The first time I went to Japan was 4 years ago, for a 2 week spring break embedded program with my uni. And we actually came to Fukuoka for the majority of our trip, and then headed up to Tokyo for our last 3 days. When I came back to Japan 2 years ago for a month, to celebrate graduating from uni, I definitely said I had to go back to Fukuoka because it became like my home away from home. So I made a week trip out of it. Had a day trip in Kyoto, 2 days in Osaka, and the rest in Fukuoka, and then took the shinkansen up to Tokyo and spent the remainder of the month exploring Tokyo--which I still didn't get to do everything or explore everything I wanted to. This was nice though, seeing Fukuoka again through someone else's eyes, I definitely need to go to that shrine next time I'm around.
Such a nice beach!
Must go back in the Summer!! 😍
Ok for quite a while now I have been watching your videos and wishing I could try some of the foods you have in Japan, Wellllll. I FINALLY GOT TO TRY SOMETHING! YESSSSSSSSSSS. I was able to buy some Adzuki Bean Mochi and also some Matcha Mochi and I love it! Its a different texture when you first try it. Like between Jello and chewing gum. They are probably a lot better when you buy them fresh but I still loved it. Thanks for opening up our pallets to the taste of Japan. Hope you do some more. Thank you and stay safe.
ahhh this makes my heart so happy! I studied abroad in Fukuoka for a month and I miss it so much. There is too much to do there and not enough time, I need to go back 😭💕
Sharla is such a easy-going and cool person (Micaela too)
Heyyyyy first❤️❤️❤️🥰 I love you Sharla 💗
😍❤️
What a great chill day filled with yummy food.
Definitely find out about the fossils place so you two can make a video together once we can all leave our houses again.
I love that kat store!
man i was supposed to go to japan this week for vacation if it wasn’t for covid 😭 so to fill in the emptiness i’m binge watching all of your videos and watching those 4k walking around japan videos haha
Aw I hope you’ll be able to rebook your trip soon!! 🙏🏻✨
Omg I NEED that cat soy sauce set. They are so freaking cute.
I need some Zenai! How delicious.
Japan looks fun I want to visit one day

I'd love to go out to the japanese countryside or Forests to look for Insects! That area looks awesome to go exploring.
LOVEEEE
Fukuoka is where I really want to go... the foods...!!!!
Great vlog
Great video. That cat store would bankrupt me completely. I would have to buy everything. Have a great day 😊 💚
I was there last month, my favorite spots were Huis Ten Bosch, Yanagawa, Nanzoin temple(amazing), Beppu Hells. Fun area, keep up the videos, give me more ideas. thx from Hawaii
The beach and the cat store looked amazing :0
10 years... WOW!
