We use spring isolation mounts for Large HVAC Equipment in the US. They are sized according to your equipment weight. Those mounts would allow the press to move and not transfer the hard shots into the ground. Is it possible to mount the control panel outside the bunker to protect it even more. Thanks for the Videos. I would hate to have to buy those bearings, they look extremely expensive.

Quick suggestion when crushing the roll bearings - instead of crushing them from the outside/top of the bearing housing (which is not the force direction it meant to support), use 2 of the same size roll bearings, with a fitting rod between/through them. then crush the middle of the rod (which will transfer the force down to the ball bearings within the roll bearings), until something happens. for suspense, the rod can be of thicker and thicker walls, up to solid steel (of short length removing as much as possible the rod from bending/breaking).

In areas that have earthquakes, they use devices called earthquake dampers. I have seen them used in building construction and factories under heavy machinery like your press. You might be able to use something like that to mitigate the seismic vibrations your neighbors are feeling.

That was an impressive crush. Not surprised it needed to be machined straight. It looks really cool when it was flattened

We use those safety light curtains in industrial machinery. Mount the curtain inside of piece of angle iron so that there is not a direct line between the plastic cover of the light curtain and the projectiles flying.

For the robot you could attach a long bar or something with a pointed end so you can make a tool center point at some point on the press so whenever you move the robot with a camera on it, the thing your crushing is at the center of the camera view.

Maybe put the press on hockey pucks under the press feet, then use stiff springs above the feet and then use bolts to hold things in place, with limited movement.

8:58 For non-Finnish audience: Lauri's choice of words makes kinda sense, since colloquial Finnish term for electrician is indeed "sähkömies" = "electricity man" :D

You can use hard rubber floor mat,or horse stall mats to help with the vibrational noises.
