@@MrGoatsy Hey you have a cool profile picture!,
Why would I trust a "security company" that already got hacked??
@@FurryAnimator Thanks, I used Midjourney to create it, after a few variations of the same result of the prompt, I got this one.
@@FurryAnimator Let me know if you need help with how to get a similar avatar.
You need a conveyor belt under the tire so that it's rolling when you're applying pressure. That would get you a much better idea of when the wheel fails.
He needs to do a collaboration with the Conveyor Belt Channel.
The challenge might be to find a conveyor belt that doesn't fail before the wheels…
@@alexanderthomas2660 Probably not an actual belt, but a big steel roller cylinder would be ideal. Could be turned by a small belt and pulley or a small electric motor or something with a slip clutch so when the tire binds up it doesn't get too wild. Then again this is hydraulic press channel so pitting unstoppable force against immovable objects would kind of go with the theme, so maybe just force the tire down onto a running angle grinder instead would be more appropriate.
Use a treadmill.
Glad I'm not the only one who thought this
I can only imagine how nerve racking it was to overfill those tires.
If you ever pumped your bike tire by yourself when you were a kid, you know the feeling.
lol. double pressure is not a problem, unless you start driving and hit a bump too fast.
as a kid i filled my bike tires up to 2.5 bars as the meter was broken. worked fine until i hit a small rock on asphalt and the back tire exploded :D
Or blowing up balloons after one has exploded in your face, lol
@@vihreelinja4743a Truck or Tractor Tire are the ones you want to be nervous around they built cages for them because so many People have died changing and then filling the Tires.
2bars in a wheelbarrow tyre is nothing.
It might be some EU safety marging rating thing, idk.
@@vihreelinja4743he tires of my mountain bike had a rating of 4.2 bars, and they were running perfectly without a problem, sometimes even 4.5 bars. But every time someone saw me typing 4.2 bars on the gas station compressor, they were shocked and said it will explode. And also no one believed me when I told them about the pressure, that it was right. They said "A car has 2 bars, so a bicycle should be like 1 bar.." 😒😅
I never tire of this channel.
Should have given them a chance to spring back before final destruction.
It would have been interesting to see which ones recovered best.
Good point, my thought also.
10:44 that’s cool how the rim split in half before it lost air.
This is why they use steel rims for offroading (as opposed to alloy).
You should put some kind of heavy duty treadmill under the tires to see them roll while under a lot of weight!
Just an heavy duty axle running with a belt directly under the wheel should be good enough. When the belt starts to slip, the rolling resistance is "high enough".
Or just a power drill running the axle might be more with the style of the channel?
Excellent selection of Biltema tires. I love it. Not much content like this from scandinavia
"This says two bars, so let's put four"
I like this guy's thinking.
That scream at 7:40 or so was NOT expected! But I don't blame her for how loud those are either! Nuts.
You need to add an air pressure gauge while it compresses.
The air pressure doesn’t change
@@servicetrucker5564 How come?
If the volume decrease, pressure will increase.
@@XtreeM_FaiL Because the rest of the tire stretches to make up the difference. If you put 100 pounds in a tire and put it on a truck then go back and check it you’ll see it still has 100 psi. Check your cars tire then jack it up and see if it changed
@@servicetrucker5564 Tyres don't stretch much. They are not rubber balls, they are reinforced.
Take a plastic bag, open it and then zip it.
Internal pressure is same as atmosphere.
Now start pressing it flat. pressure inside increase untill the bag blow up.
@@XtreeM_FaiL Because you’re squeezing it from both sides. When you load a tire you mash it down but it gets wider. But don’t take my word for it go try it
It's amazing how badly mangled the rim can be and it still holds air.
Yeah WOW
The Click-Bait Tape, er, um, I mean the SAFETY Tape really makes the difference.👊😁
Tape adds 100% strenght to the test rig :D
@@HydraulicPressChannel and adds to the VIEWS. 😂👍💯
Silly idea for beyond the press, You should spin these types of tires as fast as possible and see which one is the strongest for hi-speed!
I used to spin old castors with a grinder until they exploded. Super dangerous!
@@Allangulon They'd spun more dangerous things in their Beyond the press channel, it'll be fine ;)
@@AllangulonThat sounds like amazing fun 😆
That was interesting but I think a better idea would be to do a test to see what tyres can take the highest pressure before bursting. I was about 10-15m away from one of my truck tyres that exploded at about 7 bar of pressure. It had sidewall damage and that was the reason if failed at only around 7 bar. It was one of the loudest bangs I've ever heard and the whole tyre yard had dust down into the air. Perhaps you could have a sound measuring device to see which one makes the loudest bang too.
Watching this video for too long might make you tired...
That’s because half of it was about nord vpn 😅
@@TheKingOfBeans and about tires...
Tired 😅 that was a good one
Tyred
I'm tyred of these tire jokes, already. Tread carfully.
Just when I think this channel can't be more nerve wracking, you surprise me 😆
feeling the pressure?
never get tired of the hpc videos ^^
Very much excelent channel and videos. Thanks mate!
I am never tired watching these videos on CZcams...
Watching terminator 1 film and as she crushed the machine i could not help but hear ' hello welcome to the hydraulic press channel 😂
I'd like to see bearings crushed this way as well, it is the way they are supposed to be loaded after all. I guess the axle might end up being the weak point though!
Edit: Also different types of bicycle wheels 😉
The bearings on most of these wheels are utter junk, they fall apart after not very long in use.
never getting tired of this
Holy hell! You can use that scream for a movie soundtrack!
7:39 POP!!!!! THE TYRE EXPLODED LIKE A BALLOON!!
Brilliant test.
Love this. Please do a 6-ply 16.5/6.5-8 next time. 1" axle.
Great Video! Have a wonderful vacation!
You should weld the protection cage for bigger tires.
Truck safety regulations mandate the use of a wheel safety cage when inflating tires. This safety rule was written with blood!
They have a blast shield. exploding BEARINGS are much more dangerous than rubber tires :D
@@vihreelinja4743 Take note, impulse is Mass*Velocity*Velocity divided by 2. So, if bearing was 100gramm, but the tires are 5-10 kilogram.
Loved this. Hoping for big tires too
I'm no expert, but as I watch this, it seems to me tires today are (overall) a whole lot safer than in the past. I was surprised at how, even as they began to fail under pressure, the damage to surroundings was minimal. I remember horror stories as a kid of shrapnel flying everywhere and even killing those too close, who were inflating them.
a lot of the death and injury from wheels in the past was usually due to the common use of split rims instead of single piece tubeless rims
@@PhoenixT1953 Ah, thank you; that could be why. I knew someone smart here would know what the deal is!
Interesting video again! Maybe you could attach online pressure gauge to air filled tires to see how high the pressure gets before exploding?
(7:39) Was that someone screaming? lol
Thanks for sharing
I love the model name of tools you creating. Tire Tester Five Million. 🤣👍
i would have loved to see him stop mid way and move the press back up to see if each wheel would keep its form, i think a few of those would have been completely deformed
Where i work we make car tires with giant heated hydraulic presses capable of putting out 300,000lbs of force. The tire is supposed to be in the middle of the press where the mold for the tire is, but every now and then the tire gets misplaced or is completely off the mark. when that press closes on a misplaced tire Itll fuck everything up, the steel molds will get mashed flat, parts of the press snap and break, and I’ve even seen a tire bind up a press so bad it destroyed the main lift cylinder that closes the press. Tires aint no joke man 😂
I think Lauris press can do 150 tons so that would be 330k pounds
I am very surprised by some of those tires and how hard they held on to the bead.... I expected that to be the weak point but it wasn't, it was actually the hub of the rim that always failed. Did not expect that result and I was impressed by the durability of them.... Now I'm curious how they'd hold up under the press and rolling like on a treadmill or something, that would be cool to see in slow-mo. 😁👍
Have a good time and safe travels!!
7:38 Dat scream!
Moi! The wheel @6:45 looks pretty good. Maybe you should ovalize a pair of bearings and install them for the further using?
Interesting video. Would be cool if you could pull the floor to simulate the tire spining some how?
You could attach a motor to the axle it spins on
I have a floor puller for sale.
This was awesome! I wish you would provide a picture of both sides if the tire before the test so we can read the specifications on the tire.
The printing on the tire is vital information for any extreme duty use of tires.
Even on scooters the tire can make a huge difference.
I build very heavy electric stunt scooters which are usually putting all the load of the rider and scooter on the rear wheel. The range will almost double with a 4ply tire over a 2 ply tire (sidewall). The two ply are 35psi max and the 4 ply are 85 psi max. These are tiny tires 3.50 X 4 to sizes 13-6.50 X 6.
Please film some of your creations!
The last one was surprisingly sturdy and good sealed. Looked like a quality product.
Next you can put a conveyer belt below the tire to test the performance in rolling state
This was so much fun to watch
You should make a high-weight treadmill so the tires can roll while being crushed!
Välkommen västerut på semestern! Glad midsommar!
Tack!
love it when nordvpn sponsors actual nords
0:41 what is this tire is genuinely the best way I could have described that
7:39 That scream! OMG!
Can you do an underwater pressure test on a scale model of the Titan submersible?
What about a movable base to see if it can still roll at those pressures
Laurie and Hanna y'all rock! Peace
Wheel duel in the future? Current tool to hold the one on the press? The tables slide to the side and the 2nd wheel goes down into the frame half way to make sure there is enough space?
This is crushingly exciting watching this
if you could isolate her scream at 7:39 lol that was a good one
I got tired of using pneumatic tires on my hand truck, generator, air compressor, etc... Every time I used them they needed air. Switched to the foam type you tested. They work for the weights that I move.
I'd like to see how much pressure it takes to drive a nail into different car/truck tires. That would be interesting.
You could combine that test with sealant fluids to see how big a hole the sealant fluid can fix after the puncture.
And test tyres to the failure after being fixed with a sealant fluid. How much easier it's to cause another leak when it has been fixed by the fluid alone?
i once seen a video about testing an airplane tire to destruction using air , it was inside a shed and when it blew the shed blew apart with it , nowadays they test using water as water cannot be compressed and doesnt expand once relesed
when you start to test bigger tires (more airvolume ) i suggest blast shields and hearing protection , and stand far ar back as the shockwave can shatter windows , might be better to fill the tires with water instead of air though the deforming will be less spectaculair it be a lot safer
might allso be a nice idea to do the destruction in stages releasing the pressure of the press a few times to see if the tires comes back to its normal shape before continuing
Cool! Are you visiting Harstad on your trip?
"Here we go. Let's hope that it explodes." This should be the motto for the channel.
7:39
Nice scream 😄
Enjoy your vacation! Crushed we won't have your content for a while.
Can you build a rotating drum to press the tires against while pressuring them
amazing video
Have a great summer vacation! If you change your mind and come to Canada. I can make some suggestions.
Brilliant! Would be great on a rolling road...
Watch aircraft tire testing.
It would also be really cool if they were on a roller being turned at the same time so you can see the difference in rolling resistance
Can you test carbon fiber in an ovoid or round shape.
Kindly Wooden cutting sharpness test bro
When you move your phone away from your face...
a bit over the maximum rated pressure of the tire or a bit over the maximum manufacturer recommended pressure?
Recommended pressure. Never go over maximum rated pressure unless you try to blow it and keep safe distance.
Those foam filled ones develope a flat spot from standing still in one spot when wheelbarrow is not in use. After that they eventually stretch and come off the rim.
Did you buy any wheel from Biltema?
Can you make a video showing how a carbon fiber submarine like the Titan would fail under high pressure?
They did that in their latest video I think
Aahhh! Well isn't that how we all feel after a good release of gas! Awesome! Love this channel!
I want to see you do tractor tires!!!
You must've been pretty *tire* d out after all of that!
Pls do alloy vs steel rim car tires
Is there a way to roll the tires while crushing them?
I started to make a joke about what is a veal barrow. But then I remembered that I’m a dumb American who failed freshman English. So Great Job!
Interesting video, loveable for rest time
Would’ve been funny to have a face cam going when that tire let go lol
I had to pause everything and start watching this when I saw the thumbnail and the channel it was from
Yes vehicle tires next the semi truck tires!!!
"click bait tape"
You are the best XD
Awesome.
Punctures are rare with these wheels, the mean reason to buy a non air filled tire is because you dont need to keep them inflated. When low on air its rolling resistance will increase The downside with non air wheels is heavy loads, they deform more and have bigger rolling resistance than normal air tires (if kept at the right pressure).
As a furniture delivery guy I cannot overstate the importance of having solid wheels on your hand truck. If the piece you're moving is heavy enough to screw the tire/wheel up you couldn't lift it anyway. Plus they make commercial hand trucks with wheels that can support all the weight, straps to hold the weight on and little belts to help you go up stairs. Just because punctures are rare the tires will still leak a little bit. The day you leave the dock without checking them is the day they'll be a bit low and now you've got to fill it. Having solid wheels just makes life easier.
@@98erics i dont get why these allways loose air as my car and bicycle tires keep air for years.
@@vihreelinja4743 Years?
I have never seen a tyre that can hold desent pressure that long.

I never thought of testing tires like that before. Also your gona get so many tire jokes and im sure you new that was going to come around.
Idea for a Beyond the Press video: Overfilling tires until they pop.
That death scream made me jump lol
I sure would like to see some car tires and even bicycle tires, since all I can afford is a bicycle and I'd like to get the best tire. I know, here, we have inner tubes inside the tires and I've made those explode before accidentally. It would be nice to know which inner tubes are the strongest because I hate it when I get a flat!
Should do automobile tires next!
