In this exciting video, we use a hydraulic press to conduct a series of experiments that explore the incredible power of hydraulic pressure. We start by pushing an orange through a 2.5mm diameter hole, then work our way down to smaller holes, including 1.5mm and 1mm, to see what objects like gummy bears, soap and candles can be pushed through. Our slow-motion footage captures the explosive results of each experiment, revealing just how small of a hole a hydraulic press can push objects through. Don't miss this fascinating look at the power of hydraulic pressure and the incredible things it can do.

Prrritti Guud Anni BTP video. 👏
Kiitos Valtavalo.
With a small enough hole, could you cook an egg? It would just have to get hot enough to denature the protein. If you could do it, it might be a first for mankind.
Ah ha! I knew it! There was smoke! Yes, you could definitely cook an egg. I paused the video, but it seemed like there was some caramelization happening there. Good sign!
Running low on ideas?
You know...
Brake pads are pressed together.
You make money making high end brake pads with ur press.
I set of aftermarket Lamborghini brake pads costs 4-5 hundred dollars, and probably cost 5 bucks to make.
That was a refreshingly good sponsor segment. Felt actually genuine instead of just talking up a company because they gave you a bag of money. (raycons, shadow legends, etc.)
I like how it shit itself at the end.
they say it's the last thing you do before you die
Damn it I was going to say this
@@factzilla1868no it's the first thing you do after you die
If you were to leave gummy bear napalm on the wall for "good memories" here in Arizona, you would be besieged by ants rather quickly.
same here in Eastern Washington.
Here’s to hoping it monsoons soon
I think that you should have a thermal camera as well.
Yess
They had a whole channel for that a while back. It was unpopular.
How did chocolate come out of the bottom??
I was also waiting to see what the underside looked like
It had diarrhea
There is hole for pushing tools out, if they get too stuck and it leaked. - Hanna
I'm glad I was not the only one perplexed by that. I thought the bottom was solid and uncut. I'm guessing it must have a plug in it and welded or something. I watched it a dozen times trying to see if maybe it was an obstacle illusion or ?
that's how babies are made
Can you do this again, but aim the nozzle at some ballistic gel?
Would really illustrate the power.
They did about a year ago, video called Injection Injury Demonstration...definitely wouldnt want to get near that nozzle lol
The video link using the old press. -> czcams.com/video/mFea7RNhw2w/video.htmlsi=NKp0EF5oBsAIq73V
I machined parts for plastic injection molding machines for 18 years. Unfortunately you have to reduce the piston chamfer down to about zero to avoid that blow by. Machining barrel heads to accept a injector nozzle required 'sharp edge' on the mating face. Orders of barrel heads were scrapped after deburring this hole. The wedge factor from your piston chamfer is huge.
Hey that’s what I used to do! Repairing and modifying plastic injection molds.
Hey Lauri and Hanna, this is basically how cheese-puffs are made. If you have the correct sized orifice and mash recipe, you can make your own cheese-puffs. You just have to cut them and bake them afterward and dust them with mac 'n cheese powder.
I'd love to see cheese puffs being made on this channel!
brah im litarally eating that

Now see if the sugar free gummy bears shoot out with more force. That's what the Amazon reviews I've read would indicate.
lol. Brilliant.

Do your voices happen to own a radio station, because somehow I'm hearing them too...
@@richardhanck972 That is a good question, but i got no answers from the voices. Lazy bastards are on strike right now.
i have zero need for strip lighting but if ever that changes, i'll definitely have a look at those valtavalo tubes!
Nice job washing the gummi bear goo from the acoustic thing with that soap. You should develop the idea to a hydraulic press-ure washer.
I like how Hanna tries to keep the operation tidy. It's not going to work, but I like that she tries.
Hanna: If he had a target with points, maybe the foam wouldn't get so dirty. Gotta turn it into a game, you know the drill!😜
Well that's why he used soap at the end, to clean it all up 😂

**sigh** Such a good show!! 🤣 I've rewatched it SO many times that I couldn't even hazard a guess.
Although, I don't care _too_ much for the Private Eye "Dreamland" season, nor the one after "1999", and I've yet to see the final season... BUT that still leaves like 85% of the show being absolute gold! 😘👌
Very stylish ear protection you have there!
Those are mine 😅 -Hanna
I really appreciate how careful y'all are without being annoying. I'd even say the lengths you go to for it makes it cool. The bunker is truely impressive.
Keep these educational videos coming, you never know when someone might stop you in the street and asks about compressing stuff through tiny holes then we'll have all the information we need to answer.
great sponsor segment . great video too
Thnaks! I am really pleased with the lights and thought that it's interesting that you can replace actual movie leds with some tube like that so I thought that it would make perfect sponsor for the channel.
I guess you have to remove the starter from the old light tubes to use the LEDs?
Finally. Weaponised Haribo.

"Lauri did that."
"Do you want ants?? Because, *that's* how you get ants." - Malory Archer xD
9:16 - all the souls of the lost gumi bears scream as they're released at once
I’ve never commented on a sponsor before, but I wish Valtavalo did the lights where I used to work - I’m rare in that I can see 240hz flicker with my bare eyes, and it cost me my job since my employer refused to believe that I’m an ADA protected class.
has the metal cylinder broken in the bottom?
Yep, sheet usually comes out of crack. 😳
The next question is always......."Wipe or Crust" 😵💫
No there is a hole for pushing tools out. The pressure usually holds a "plug" of sorts in place.
Love seeing the progress you have made. New bunker, robot camera..... you have wuite the production going! keep it coming!
Been seeing a lot of press copycats lately! This is the only true press channel!
Straight up content thieves you mean. There have been several lately that edit out the speech, but miss the distinctive laugh of Hanna, or the shrieks of Anni on the older videos.
@@willgallatin2802 exactly. the commentary really sells this channel :D
you really need to get an high framerate Infrared Camera to capture how the materials heat up (probably a great opportunity for a manufacturer of those cameras to sponsor the setup)
Are you two using Haribo brand gummy bears?
I can smell your bunker from Texas 😆
Thank you for making me laugh.
Having seen your videos for years but not caught one in a while now, I'm blown away by how much your set up has grown. I'm glad to see you guys being so successful. Keep crushing.
Gummy bear slushie stocks:📈📈📈📈
Nice gratuitous emoji usage, versatile
These two are just the loveliest people.
I was wondering how it came out the bottom of it, with no hole there.
There is a hole. They usually use it to push the stuff back out. They cover the hole from the inside, and the pressure usually holds it in place.
I really enjoy watching these. it brings me much joy to see how much more confident you have both become to be in front of a camera.
Kyle Hill needs to explain the benefit of distributing the force along the edges of the pyramid wall protectors and the pressure to heat ratio! Sam O'Nella could have fun, too!
Anni the Ex-Wife is awesome and all with her extra-content play-doh animals but personally I like how much more involved Hanna is in the main channel too. I do miss silly videos the Frozen Lake ones though.
I love this channel so much
Great video both .
congratulations on the sponsor
This has to be the most obscene squish video to date! I love it! Oh, and your bling on your headset is just marvelous!
First time watching, you two are so funny! I love the vibes, you two are definitely the fun couple at a dinner
i like your bedazzled hearing protection @9:25 😂
I don't need any lights right now but I'll keep Valtavalo in mind, for sure!
250 m/s is almost supersonic. Nice! Just a little more pressure and you could break the sound barrier. That would probably sound weird in the bunker.
The Videos Are Always Impressionant❤
You should definitely set up a watermelon target or something for the stream to "attack" haha epic video
Lauri, love your bedazzled safety earmuffs, LOL 😁
Next video: crushing 32,000 ants with a 300 ton press...

I love the danger sign on the machine!
Hanna, I wish you good healing on your wrist/hand and a speedy recovery. Don't let Lauri try to use the press to help you heal faster.

5:58 NOW we know where the Blob came from!
Lauri, looking cute with those flower ear protectors.
You should put a painting board in front of the "shower" every time you shoot something out of the small holes. That art would be phenomenal!
One of the laser beams fired into spinning fan blades might be really fun to capture with the high-speed camera.
Hanna and Lauri this was so amazing how much gummy bears came out of the nozzles
The level of practical applications and scientific exploration that the new press brings is 💯
9:03 "Welcome to the pneumatic press channel!"
I suddenly had this vision, like in a game walking around and there are all these marks on the walls and floor that the monsters left behind, like in Doom, but instead its Hydraulic Press marks all over the place, and i can just imagine what hides in the dark spots
Wham, wham, i think it fits now. I roared with laughter. I like the fact your bunker is rated for 308 feet per second. You are very precise in your calculations and sledgehammer blows
He's referring to the 308 rifle caliber not 308 fps
Just an idea, place a little bit of water with what ever you are trying to press or vegetable oil this should make everything squirt better .
you achieved compression ignition of gummy bears.
a sentence i never thought i would write.
That's the gummy shot right there.
you'll have to draw a target on that sound insolation stuff 😅
It would be crazy to try to use this to "injection mold" gummy bears with this!
I’d like to see something set up as a target so you can really see the power
3:17 a real piece of art!!
Man, now I want gummy bears
How about redoing some of the underwater tests? Now with the bunker, you could even try to break the chamber.
Nice to see you Hana.
These videos always remind me of the "Will it Blow" segment in all of @OrdinarySausage's videos. I'd like to see what sausages look like being pushed through a 1mm hole.
You could use that powerful soap jet to collaborate with @WaterjetChannel really "wash" some hands!
You could put a slightly oversized copper ring around the steel, maybe?
I know it works on steel bullets to grab the rifling so maybe it would work here too
not sure if you could get the piston out afterwards though 🤔
Gummy bear goo looks like practical movie effects for alien goo and John carpenter’s “the thing”
HPC casually dieseling gummy bears
Video idea: Dirty/oily ballistic hand being "washed" with various dry and liquid soaps, using the Injection Wound 5 Million tool featured in this video.
The way the soap tore up the acoustic panels was quite shocking, now I wonder what it would do to ballistic gel.
Great experiment with the gummy bears, it looked like special effects from a horror/sci-fi video game.. exploding tumor blobs. :D
Hi guys. Have you ever thought about getting an infra red camera for the bunker?
I was hoping the gummi bear structure will prevail :)
i think you should try to machine a groove in the piston and fit a piston ring or 2 from a car piston. that should make it fit really well and prevent it from back firing.
How long does it take you guys to clean up the booth after one of your demos?
i like the jewel-encrusted earphones. very artsy.
very funny moments lol!!!!!!
Might have been fun to see the gummybear slime with a thermal camera after extrusion.
You could paint the replacement acoustic foam like a target for next extrusion.
You should see how far different things penetrate through stuff after they’ve been shot out
whhhat we get left on the cliff hanger not knowing how it came out the bottom!!??
