    You should refer IS 456 when you going to Design beam or any rcc structure.dosent Matter what your project was.

    Domestic G+2 Building column with 16mm 4 iron bars with 150mm spacing is enough.footing is 4.5'×4.5' and slab thickness 5' with 10mm rods spacing 6'.

    Sir but my personal experience the beam with 225 mm width will fail in some location so preferred 300 *300 beam dimension

    Sir, grade 20 ratio is 1:2:4, for 1:1.5:3 ratio is for grade 25..for reinforced structures

    I have a 200mm x 400mm beam
    For LS/RS 4-16mm top bars and 3-16mm bottom bars
    For Mid Span 3-16mm and 4-16mm for bottom
    And addition side reinforcements 2-16mm on both side.

    Dear sir,
    How to calculate the average spacing of ties, if a column having length of 3 m. The spacing of ties in CR (i.e. 1 m) is 125 mm and in NR (i.e. 2 m) is 175 mm.
