    Hi Guys. Great review. I agree with you totally. I got my HT70 in Jan and no reviews, other than some disinformation on light forums. The auto stepdown is aggressive but can be set by temp (hand or thermal gun) or time, or turned off altogether (not recommended). This is a fantastic, budget light with great battery consumption and little to no parasitic drain. Running at 1/4 throttle it provides a lot of light, throw and battery life. Keep up the great reviews.

      Al MacDonald Yeah we took the HT70 out hiking and we’re running it at 1/4 power the whole time and it illuminated well enough to see very well and sustained temperature. We greatly appreciate the support!

    Hi. Just got my HT70 in a few days ago. I don't know the exact lumen level or throw but it is incredible. Its beam is similar to the Haikelite MT40 but much brighter and more throwy. Thanks for the review.

    Great vid guys! The Haikelite thermal regulation seems super aggressive. It steps down much faster than it needs to. You should try getting your hands on a Lumintop GT4.

    • @lightcommanders4901
      @lightcommanders4901  Před 4 lety +1

      Travis Yes on the downside the Haikelite does step quite fast, but on the upside the turbo runtime is actually quite impressive with it being around 1min 15sec.

      @lightcommanders4901  Před 4 lety +1

      We have many upcoming lights to review, the GT4 may be a possibility in the near future.

      @@lightcommanders4901 GT4 is a quad xhp70.2, the same as the ms18. It has virtually no step-down. If you have never heard of the Adventure Sport Flashlights CZcams channel you guys should check it out.

      Travis Yes it’s a very impressive light with that much output and being fully sustainable.

    Why don’t u talk about how long the battery will last on these flash lights I get that they r bright as hell but it’s not going to do any good if it only last for 10 seconds thanks and can’t wait to see next video on battery life

    • @lightcommanders4901
      @lightcommanders4901  Před 4 lety +1

      Ben Wamsley We will be sure mention the runtime in the next video. Thanks for watching!

    Also no haikelite for me. Too much problems with them in the past.

      hardus van der hoven Unfortunately with a budget light there is a possibility for flaws. But with our experience this light has outstanding performance for the price.

    • @hardusvd
      @hardusvd Před 4 lety

      Light Commanders yes indeed they do have good performance but mine never last.

  • @aussiehardwood6196

    So the box is good, the grease is great, the bubble wrap is simply awesome. Who cares about any of that stuff, I have several grease guns, packaging ends up in the bin & so they should protect a light with a such a retail price. No discussion on emitters types between lights. Terrible camera footage. Lumens, lumens lumens.
