I have had this Haikelite Hk04 (15000 lumens) for three months now and I have to say that I think this is the best flashlight. I also have Astrolux Mf01 (and the Mini), Mateminco (Astrolux Manufacturer) TK04 (sst40 / XHP50.2), but this Haikelite is the best of the three. I am using 3 Liitokala 3500mah (with me it is 3510 to 3535mah per cell) flathead 18650 battery.
Finally a long waited english review. Thanks. I wish i could buy this in india from banggood. Gearbest has this too but the prices are different than what shows in bangood. I dont know. I wish to but...
I hear ya but, the TN36 is still in a class of its own.. Its not always just about the numbers.. When you use them out in the field, basement what have you.. you’ll find the all have their niches -even when spec’d about the same..

I am in California. I would get the men in your family the Wowtac A1, they are complete kits and budget friendly as well. The HK04 is a great gift but just remember to buy quality batteries if money is not a concern. Also check out the Sofirn SP36 as well. Merry Christmas and thanks for watching!

750 meters? Really? Just because so many lumens I guess. I wonder how they calculate that. I wonder, too, whether there is actually any USABLE light at that distance.
Hey so I was checking out those lg mj1 batteries and noticed that the unprotected ones are flat top and the protected ones are button top. You recommended unprotected button top in the video and in the description. I was wondering if you made a mistake or are there unprotected button top lg mj1 that I just can't find?
The protected version have a black ring on the bottom verses the unprotectrd are all green. Battery supplies are very low due to pandemic so you may have to wait to get them. Thanks for watching!
I would advise to use a dedicated charger whenever possible. I do charge mine via the light when that is not possible or on the road. Thanks for watching!
Hello Charles. Maybe off topic question, but if You can pls answer. What is your personal opinion, is that Haikelite HK04 comparable to Astrolux MF01S ? +and- each other? Thx for your time, answer.
Marcel I just received the HK4 today and I have the MF01S too, it seems HK4 is somewhat more white in the light. The ramp up and down is faster on HK4 and it has a plug for internal charging, but has only 3 batteries (4 in mf01s). HK 4 is a few cm / 1 inch taller than MF01s and weigh 500 g vs 700g on the mf with batteries. Have not tested them side by side, but mf01s has 18 led vs 4 on HK4 so by memory Astrolux has a wider light beam. HK 4 is not super long focused in the throw, but still I'm very impressed.
@@larsstougaard7097 man thx for Your answer, i already own an a astrolux, and its pretty good-as a "home" light-torch. Astrolux is nice to play with, im happy with. But like outdoor torch i have another favorite. One more thanx for Your care, and time. Have a nice day.
@@CharlesBridgTec btw one more thing, do you have a link where can i get 18650 batteries? I cannot see it in banggood. are high current (20A) batteries okay for haikelite hk04? thank you sir
It was tested by modders on blf, it was close to specs, although with heat, likely only for a few seconds. The real potential is in the cells you use and how it sheds heat.

I believe during the voltage check, it was reading 4.0v, not 4.1v
