- Thanks so much for tuning into todays episode, i will be covering how to find your first settlement in nms and how to start the quest that go along with it. One thing i forgot to mention is that you can exchange your settlement later in the game if you dont like your current one. It will just depend on the system that you are in what material you will need to do so. I'm jealous you got settlements and multiplayer because i've just started playing NMS but on the switch which has none of those (hopefully temporary)
BUT at least i can play it while taking a shit.

@@The_House_Always_Wins Relocate it then but you'll also have to build the new settlement up from scratch. I can't remember where it is but there should be an dismantle or abandon option for the settlement on your settlement screen or on the terminal in the settlement.
Mine is set on a radioactive planet and only Korvaxes live there. I named it "the machines rose from the ashes of the nuclear fire".

Thank you I’m glad you enjoy, as of the most current update it’s still only 1 settlement but you can swap them out if you find one on a better planet or one with better stats. And I will definitely be making a freighter base guide and showing off what I typically like to build
I'm finding an issue where if I try to buy a settlement chart, there;s no option for it, it only lets me buy drop pod charts, do I need to do something first?
Can you do one on how to reset the quest because I keep getting taken ones
What does settlement happiness do? Is it worth keeping them happy, or just going for credits?
It doesn’t affect anything, or at least that’s what I’ve heard. I normally like to keep it up because I feel they will eventually add a use for it

Can you still get one after someone else gets it? I found a really good one but it doesn’t let me claim it, it only says report this settlement? I also have multiplayer turned off
I wish you could have at least 2 or 3 settlements because I want to have a different settlement but I honestly have an insanely sick planet and settlement spot on that planet so I cant get rid of that! Lol
How many settlements can you have?
Is a docking station different from a starship hub?
It should be the same thing, I’ve noticed that some items have multiple names. They may look different though however since there is 2 versions of the landing pads.

I found a way point beacon, which gave me the location of a minor settlement. Are they found on every planet 🤔

Switch still has no settlements
For some reason i just cant buy settlement charts
They should still be at the cartographer, this new update could have messed up his inventory though.
Well i can only find exosuit Upgrade charts and no settlement charts but i will keep looking
@@Cybermonkeys1 the cartographer should be on the exact opposite side of the exosuit vendor. Near the market
