- This post office in Skokie Illinois (847-676-2232)was a request from a TTA family member. I have a list of spots that has to be audited by request from the family..But a customer said she felt scared and called the cops,and of course they showed up.
This video is for news and educational purposes only.
First time I’ve seen a cop agree when an auditor says, “this was a waste of resources”

My opinion, this was the most respectful, professional post office I’ve seen on all the audits. Nice!!!

With how these two cops acted, I am ALMOST willing to give them benefit of the doubt that it was due to ignorance from not experiencing such a situation, instead of the willful ignorance that has been shown so many time.

The cop was taken by surprise because his training never covered how to deal with innocent civilians in a public place. This is called on the job training, the bad part is the innocent civilian will suffer with the cops stupidity. The poor lady in white was taken by surprise because she did not listen to the teacher in grade school.
This is maybe the first post office that passed an audit, I commend these employees.

I agree! What's crazy is they say, ignorance of the law is no excuse. So, we're expected to know and follow all laws, that can change regularly, but cops have qualified immunity when they don't know and break the law. Then, we the people pay any judgements from civil rights violations.

I too liked you told the officer "that's not true!" It's important that they are checked when they say something that is incorrect. Most people assume cops know "the law" but as we see time and time again, THEY DO NOT.

So she doesn't want to be recorded, so she then calls for the cops so she can get recorded by Hadnott for several minutes. I don't believe for a second that she was scared. She just wanted attention.
The postal workers know the laws better than the cops. But that’s no surprise I don’t know many people with any smarts that would want to be a cop. Great audit.

I am not one that typically watches, as I love the “skip ad“ button however, your channel has now become one of four channels that I do in fact, allow the ad to run so that you are able to have revenue come in based on those ads because with revenue you can continue to travel to these different towns or county cities, states, etc. and exercise. 10:00 - Let's maintain our intellectual honesty and integrity, James. We often remind local officers that the have no authority at a post office, then you want them to issue a ticket in a post office parking lot. Their lack of authority extends to those parking spaces, as well.

I liked the fact the officer asked you to pull up the information so that he can have knowledge over the jurisdiction. Have you thought about carrying a few copies around to show the officers that show up?

Why do people out in public imagine they get to dictate to others what they can and cannot do? They are filmed every day multiple times and listened to via their smart phones. They are oblivious to how many eyes are already on them. Blind yet entitled. Good job exercising our rights and educating.

@@lamarw7757 I'm tired of hearing it's for "officer safety", I have had an officer block me in for 37 minutes because he was trying to remove a homeless man and that was so important that he refused to move his car so I can get out. The homeless man was not going anywhere and he could have moved it in just a couple of minutes. Most cops are extremely rude.
Local cops generally can deal with felonies or 'emergency' situations on federal property without a memorandum of understanding but they definitely shouldn't be doing any misdemeanors or infractions there as they'll just get dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.
BS, every post office except those completed before 1940 has an understanding with local police for protection. One reason Frauditors get off is Feds need to prosecute not local, arrests are legal. Feds usually don't want to be bothered. Doesn't change the fact this shit is a crime.

@@ems901 Felonies are generally considered 'major' crimes, such as grand theft (usually cars), assault, murder. Minor infractions or misdemeanors are things like trespassing, driving with a busted tail light, jaywalking. On federal property local cops generally do not have the authority (jursidiction) to enforce minor crimes there unless they have specifically negotiated a memorandum of understanding (contract) to enforce federal laws there. This is usually done in very rural areas where getting federal police to do this is impractical.
No, without the understanding between the local police and security force personnel (the postal inspectors) there is no jurisdiction on federal property. The only actions allowed to locals out of jurisdiction is process serving, that is carrying out a judge's order. Other than that, local police aren't allowed to carry firearms on Federal property. That's title 10 of the code of federal regulations.
@@willamclark8992 Tell that to that IRS security guard who pulled a gun on a cop (for having a firearm at the IRS office) and now he's the one up shit's creek because of it. Federal court ruled if they're there on official business it's allowed.

Tyyyyyrraaannntt Terminatorrrr....lol Love the work man, also just wanted to clear up the jurisdiction issue......Any post office built before 1940 is the sole jurisdiction of federal authority. Any built after that can be joint jurisdiction but only if the post master has a written agreement with local police to give them jurisdiction. If they do not have that, it is still the sole responsibility of federal law enforcement.
People tripping about being recorded but never trip on these companies doing the same thing.

One thing I love is that you don't try to be evasive about being a 1A auditor. Lots of auditors treat it like it's some big secret which I find weird. They say it'll compromise their story, and sure they don't have to explain to anyone, but sometimes being transparent and honest about it is a better approach. I like Amagansett Press' method where he explains it *after* he finds out if they're going to be nice or nasty. I feel you take a similar path. TTA Fam
It can and does compromise their story. If the employees know it's an audit it changes their behavior and we don't get real transparency.

He can't enforce city charges on federal property. Only federal charges are allowed on federal property UNLESS there is NOT a comparable federal charge to a possible local one. So if being disorderly on fed property, only the disorderly federal law can be used vs. the local one.
