- • Tyrant COP tries to IN... is a link to the other dispensary we were at a few months back.Today’s video we were at a dispensary called Rise (847-616-8966) out in Mundelein Illinois.
This video is intended for news and educational purposes only
They may have paid for that sidewalk but they do not own it. Its part of the public right-of-way.
Exactly
Good work TTA, I enjoy watching your channel and support your fantastic work on protecting our rights…
Thanks alot
People have become so entitled and conditioned to getting their way that they dont know how to react when they receive answers that they don’t want to hear…
For sure
Please audit Elk Grove Village, IL. They need to be audited, and I could almost guarantee that they will try to infringe your rights.
I got you
The respect, knowledge and authority you speak with is a testament to your character! Great Job, Salute!
Thanks alot
Bla bla bla , this guy just won't let it go 😢. Great job James 💯
I hate the way they ask about your vehicle as if they like the make and model, but the truth is they want to run the license plate to know who you are.
This whole thing was freakin silly! I mean, what information could you even see from that far away? I couldn't even make out faces on a 54 inch screen
If the cops pulled up and talked to James first, how did the cops know that the employees didn’t want him on any of the property?
They ran to that guy first..
@@HelloKittyFanMan I meant ran..🤣🤣I fixed it
Oh cool, @@TTA42800, now I see, thanks! (OK, I deleted my old reply now.)
For these types of videos it's best to get the geologic survey to know exactly where public property and private property is so there are no disputes. Also, it may be a good idea to have some sort of potent mace handy.
That sidewalk is called a public easement and the public has the right to be on it.
I love TTA's voice! Just subscribed!
Thanks alot..welcome aboard
TTA: I really admire your work. Come to think of it, your voice tone is great too. Sounds like you are in control. In charge.
Though many of us are not out there on the front line with you, doesn’t mean we can’t help. I think it makes sense to apply a little passive/aggressiveness when cops behave tyrannical or even stupid. I think the public has to teach cops to be polite and stay in their lane versus telling us what we can do because someone's feelings are hurt. Examples:
When they first walk up and you ask for them to announce their name and badge number and they fail. Don’t ask them again. Tell them: “You and I are finished talking. You didn’t ID, we are not going to talk. You are dismissed.” Then ask the next one. Same thing, then dismiss them.
Don’t forget one of your best tools is silence. The silent treatment is more effective than arguing with them.
If you ask a question and they don’t answer, tell them, “We pay you for service. If you are not going to answer my questions, you are dismissed. Don’t say anything more to them.
When they try to coax you to leave or ask if you are done. Just stand there. No answer, no movement. The longer and the more they pressure you, just stand there. No reply and no response. If they put their hands on you, you might as well just sit down. Even lay down. Might even scream in pain as they have hurt your neck and back.
May as well give them something to think about. You guys are going to really shine on the Internet. Be sure to check back several times. Wait until your family and friends see you. They will laugh. You will be great entertainment for them. Don’t forget to read the comments that thousands of people will make. And think about how your department will regard your tyrannical behavior. You think it will sit well with your chief, your mayor, your city council and you citizens?
The really ironic part of this is: You have the opportunity to make yourself look good, and nearly every time, you go the other way. Your bad behavior shines through. We see your true side. We see your disdain for the public. Thank you for showing your true self to us. Let leave you with the absolute truth. Let’s make sure you have no doubts. We don’t trust you. We don’t trust you to protect us. We don’t trust you to do anything but protect your own gang. We don’t trust you to be honest. We have such little use for you and your kind, we can do completely without you.
You're absolutely right..thanks for the support
Citizens can NOT violate HIPPA!!!
😂😂😂
Public easement. Dont ever just stand in the street bro. Your safety is priority. Also you could check the gis survey to see the property lines. I would even o as far as to print them out so if the cops get cute you can inform them. Stay safe and keep doing what you do. You have a great auditing style!
THAT PLACE DOESN'T CONTROL THE PUBLIC EASEMENT .
I happen to think the young man was very respectful, very professional and In the long run I think they BOTH learned something that day. Cheers💨🤘👊
That security guard was a mile away you couldn't tell who he was. Then he walks up to the camera? What sense does that make?
To anyone who's paranoid. To them who are paranoid nutcases, have delusional thinking, and just plain stupid.
Ignorant of the civil and constitutional rights we have in this country.
Anyone who thinks otherwise, are fools and idiots.
They're not there because they are curious. Not because they're instigators, who are looking and spoiling for a fight...
But because they don't care of the rights we Americans have in this country.
If they don't appreciate what freedoms we have in this country, then they can move to another country where they DON'T have freedom!
Never admit to your vehicle, nothing good could ever come from it. It’s just an invitation for harassment!!!
I used to waste my money on weed too ! I haven't been stupid since 1985.
Booze is all I need...lol
Public easement, they might own the land but they have no business telling people to walk or stand in the road or to get off the public easement.
300 million phone cameras and another 100 million government security state cameras in America and they get all shook up over one person with a camera. Well, that and their abject ignorance of the law is a bummer.
P.S. In Pennsylvania the state owns and runs all the liquor stores. Kind of the same difference innit.
Not only is it to see if people respect our rights; it's to educate them into it if they weren't already.
Amen to that
Thanks, @@Robert-bc2uq.
Most Excellent job ; Your communication With everyone was respectful , direct and honest ... Well done looking forward to more content !!!
Oh they own across the street also? and the speed sign?🤣😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂 I’m weeeak!!
You are a very interesting individual I like your casual conversations being real
Amazing how they have all these directives helping you. Helping you right into a cage when they think they can justify it. For instance, "just stay off their property". I think the perfect reply to that is "ohhh, I didn't know that. Never heard that before, where were you when I was growing up? you could have shared that with me 40 years ago, huh?"
There were quite a few "medical facilities" in the neighborhood I grew up in, we just called them weed houses back then.
I just stumbled across your channel, you are by far the most entertaining, keep up the good work.
I been watching auditing America for years keep doing your thing bro love the video
Ok I don't understand, if the police have access to the footage on their cameras isn't it available through FOIA? Seems odd that the police would have a feed from a private business. Easement law in Illinois is 20 feet from the center of the road.
I really like your style, & all your audits are really good! Oh & your updated intro is better too 😊
Weed dealers calling the cops for service. Certainly not the world I grew up in. All the mystery, adventure and subterfuge of buying weed is long gone. Kids today will never understand waiting for a dude you just met to maybe return in an hour with a bag of shake. Definitely safer now.
😂😂😂
Weed is MUCH stronger and many dealers are adding BS to the weed. here in NJ they are spiking it from fentanyl-it's not safer than before as I see it.
Let me step to your camera to tell you I don’t want to be on your camera the logic
Where do you walk there? There has to be a public place for citizens to walk! That guy is reaching and lying at the same time!
Exactly
I love how the 1st dude that doesn't want to be filmed, WALKED SEVERAL YARDS TO GET EVEN CLOSER TO THE CAMERA. OMGEEEE!
🤣🤣
Every public Street in the entire United States of America has a right away on both sides of the public Street. Regardless if they call it a right-of-way or an easement or public Access. You cannot be trespassed from public property unless you commit a crime. It is extremely rare for any government to put their sign on private property. I would bet my life and/or 10 years salary That Sidewalk belongs to the public.
Look how this guy keeps going out of his way to bother this guy.
Shameful
Yea walk up to the camera to say you dont want to be recorded. Great idea
That guy had a very condescending demeanor about him. The fake politeness is very telling
You need to pull up the GIS survey showing exactly where the property lines are at.
Sidewalk is not there property even if they installed it, right of way. People need a place to walk and not bin the street.
Exactly
If they installed it then it is just theirs... unless the gov. buys it from them. BUT then there would still be the easement, so it can be their own private property with a _public easement._
You keep doing your thing man. By far the best channel. I can’t get enough. I love your demeanor and how you get you “BS” voice and laugh when you know what your talking about but you allow them to voice there feelings. Love it bro. Keeping it real from the gate.
Even if they did put in the sidewalk its a public easement
not their property line
For sure
He may own it, but it's a public easement. So the public has access to it.
Exactly
Dealing with idiots, sucks.
Good audit! I like that security manager guy. He kept pressing his case, and was wrong about a few things, but he remained cordial and civil the whole time. He's got good people skills. I would like to make a clarification for the viewers, just so that nobody finds themselves stating things to a court incorrectly, and ending up with things not going their way as a result.
They most likely DO own the property right up to the curb. What makes a portion of their property along the roadway 'publicly accessible' and what enables a city or state to put signs up within that space is an easement or right-of-way. An easement or right-of-way is a type of land usage contract that modifies a deed. It grants some usage and/or control rights to a non-owner of the property. In other words, they still OWN the land, but the municipality has some usage and control rights to it. In essence, the easement or right-of-way lets the city or state place road signs, require sidewalks or drainage ancillaries, install utility items, and designate it as a publicly accessible area. Since easements or right-of-ways are kind of a contract, they can be written to grant some usage or control types, but not others. You could write one granting your neighbor the right to plant flowers on your side of the fence but not to plant trees, for example, if that's what you wanted to do. But you would still OWN your property. Easements or right-of-ways do NOT transfer ownership, they just grant usage and/or control rights from an owner to a non-owner.
If you go to court, and you try to tell the judge that, "It's not their property," you're going to end up looking like you don't know what you're talking about. But if you tell the judge, "Yes it's their property, but the portion of it I was on is a publicly accessible easement," then they're going to have to concede your accurate point. I suppose this could help out on the scene also, if the cops are called and you need to justify the fact you are standing in a specific place. It could make a difference if you're dealing with a cop who isn't educated on property law. You want to put the right words into his mouth when he starts looking deeper into it. You DON'T want him just asking, "Who property is this," because the answer is going to be that it's THEIR property. Instead, you want him asking, "Is there a publicly accessible easement extending a certain distance ONTO their property from the curb?"
Its amazing how many pot shops are willing to call the cops on people after the police being hard on weed for so many decades.
Man, you're a fkn monster! I love you, man, God bless.
I love you too
the best on the internet!!! dont let nobody tell u nothin different!! Cali supporting u 100!!!!
He's either a cop, past or present. His directives and entitled attitude aligns with today's policing.
its crazy how people go out in public and they say WE/YOU have to respect their privacy. its a crazy concept. first rule when u leave your house is knowing there's no expectation of privacy in public. to be driving into a medical office and not want to be filmed going there is ridiculous asf.
Smoke it inside ?
And then drive under the influence to leave ?
“HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is essential for cannabis dispensaries because it protects medical cannabis patients' personal health information, such as medical history, conditions, and treatments. As a dispensary, you may have access to this information, which must be protected under HIPAA regulations.” @TTA, in the future you should speak to how HIPPA has nothing to do with protecting a patient’s likeness/face. As you know, if you are on public property, and they walk out of a private building, you can record what your eyes can see. This includes potentially capturing their license plate that is in public view. If you are inside a public space such as the DMV, post office, police station, city hall, etcetera and they mention HIPPA, please advise them it doesn’t apply AT ALL. People don’t respond to “the onus is on you” if they are ignorant to that. Community health services/clinics follow HIPPA. Still, it’s ridiculous for them to bring it up if you’re inside but the information is being shared in a lobby or viewable with your eyes. Keep educating!
Love you brother ❤️ I been rocking with every since September. Very Glad I did❤
HIPAA concerns 'electronic transmission of protected medical INFORMATION between med professionals'
Hahaha not at all!!! I suggest your read the law
24:39 tell that fool HIPPA doesn't apply on a public sidewalk
👍. Yes! That's right. You're absolutely right on the money.
The owners of that facility were just paranoid.
It’s always a relief to meet humble human cops!
They built their sidewalk in the right of way. They don’t own the right of way. If the city wanted to widen the road that sidewalk would get destroy and would not be replaced by the city.
Walking IN the street (i.e., on the pavement) is not only dangerous, it's ILLEGAL. That's why there needs to be an easement on each side of the street. If the easement is publicly owned, then it's called a public easement. Otherwise it's a PRIVATE easement. BUT... in either case, even if it's a PRIVATE easement, the public has a right of access. That's how it works. That being said, always do your research on property lines before going for your audit. AND print the maps AND bring them with you. In this case, you didn't do your homework.
The state is definitely involved & making $$$$
The state is involved in all business genius
it amazes me they'd rather have the cops at a dispensary than a guy with a camera
🤣🤣
Thank you for teaching me my rights now the Constitution is my Best Friend
I wonder where they "bought" that speed -limit sign? Maybe they should buy an 80MPH one let's have some fun!
They called the cops because the bosses don't understand the law and forced their employees to do it but overall not bad. You can see progress has been made thanks to channels like TTA! Props!
You Nailed it on the head. Like drunks need to be ashamed of showing up at the bar. Pure nonsense.
Kudos to you for being CLEAN! ✌🏻 Brother
Thanks alot
State ran because of the money it's always about the money
Great job, as usual, and I will be sure to watch the other video you mentioned! ✊💪👍❤️
To be fair, the security guy wasn't a bad dude. He might be misinformed, but he was just trying to do his job. He was very approachable, even when you guys were sort of odds with one another.
As a side now: James, I'm from Boston but live in New Hampshire currently. In Massachusetts, most dispensaries are privately owned, however in New Hampshire, ALL dispensaries are owned and run by the State of NH. I have not seen a single Privately owned Dispensary anywhere in NH. As far as I can tell, you can't own a dispensary in NH. Just figured it might help with future investigations. Thanks for your hard work! Keep it up! I really can't give you enough credit. You're one of the good ones out here! You stay respectful as possible, until you're disrespected.
Need to them that you are on a public easement and you can record anything you can see from public.
F**k the directives!!!!!!! He was never on their property.
Different content. I love it. Thank you for showing everyone the knowledge that is within our rights. Not many have the balls to do what you do for your audience of captivating watchers. Keep up the good work fellow American.
The spots you are referring about are reflections of the officers' headlights on your camara lens. This especially happens when there is glass over your lens like a filter.
All ok..thanks for the info..
Total paranoia & doughnut patrol to the rescue 🤣🍩🚓☕keep up the good work my brother we the people 🇺🇸🦅👍 luv u James man your videos are great and professional keeping it real 🎃👻☠️trick or treat 🍭🍬🍫
Whether they installed the sidewalk or the city did, it's still a public easement.
Another great job by James!
Wow, three cops for a man with a camera. I really like how you keep your cool with the people that approach you, and keep a nice rapport with the cops. That's so important to expose the tyrants that shouldn't be cops. Hey, Dunkin gave us some great information, I didn't know they had a consumption lounge. Great audit!
Thanks alot
A camera is the witness that never lies and can not be intimidated. That is why cops, public officials and other criminals fear being recorded by the public.
Exactly
Security dies not know what an "easement" is. 😂
This guys business owner who owns county property is special.
James you need the GSI survey for boundary lines and make chucky back his truck up😮
You think they installed that sidewalk out of the goodness of their heart? No. Most cities will take the right of way. Its simply law. They don't have to fight every property owner for the easement/right of way. And even in some cities or states where they still own the land, the city/state demands via law that the public can use it. And the really funny thing is, the property owner still has to maintain it. Sometimes when the sidewalk fails, due to tree roots for example, the property owner has to pay to repair it, not the city. So, bottom line, Rise may own it, but the public retains the right to stand on it/use it.
Every notice when someone does not have the true authority to force you to do something, but they just try to talk you into do it, they just keep talking. They talk over you, they interrupt your reasonable time to also talk. They won't shut up !!
3:38 the layers of corruption are many.
Typically speaking, if a business develops land for commercial use, if the municipality has not already installed sidewalks there, the business is then required to install them to meet code requirements such as sidewalks, even if only for the americans with disability act laws. This does not however usually mean the business then "owns" the sidewalk. That sidewalk is still placed on property that would otherwise be a community easement. Those sidewalks and driveway openings into the street which are known as " aprons" all still require permits and inspections to ensure they meet those codes.
Always check the GSI survey to know where all public easements are before you go to an audit. Good job haha
TTA power destroy their ego and pride. Love you TTA ❤❤
Everyone should get high and video the police.
This cop has a bad way of doing business. He asks a question but won't let you answer before he talks over you.
Inside any camera there are several glass lenses behind each other. If you shine a light on the lenses it can be reflected by lens 2 or 3 and the recorder (sensor) sometimes can see that light mirrored. So If the light Goes left, the dot goes right. Same goes for up and down Motion.
Great video TTY.. I think when you come across police that up hold there oaths and are cordial, we should BZ, give them a big thumbs up... some out there are not so nice... highlight those that are,.. that is my thing to include,... appreciate all you time and effort doing this... you are the man!!! Keep up the good work and i will keep following
Don't answer cops about which vehicle is yours; just tell them that it's none of their business which vehicles are whose until those vehicles are involved in something illegal.
Yeah, @@johnreiner3247, that too.
Cannabis dispensaries in the United States or marijuana dispensaries are a local government regulated
Tta family I love this dude soft*** passive aggressive attitude and don't know people rights glad you are informing him🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Depending on the easement laws you get either 15 to 25 ft from the center line of the street
I don't get it, how you walk to the camera 📸 and I ask you not to record me 😵💫
😅😅
You're a master at de-escalating any situation, explaining what you're doing and educating everyone you encounter. What you do is so important and timely and I would love to support your work. Let me know how I can do that. Thanks James!
Found your $CashApp and donated. Thanks James.
"Dispensary" is nothing but a fancy word for "pot dealer".
The ramp from the public sidewalk onto their facility looks like it does not meet ADA Compliance requirements.
The public right of way (public street) typically includes space for the public to walk (sidewalks) on at least one side. However, if the private property line goes all the way to the curb, there must be an access easement for the general public to lawfully pass through private property, rather than walk in the street, which is unlawful. Easements, for all intents and purposes, are publicly accessible, are technically not public property, but retain all the characteristics of public property.
HIPPA only applies to the keeper of the records
HIPAA
Huh??? Not at all! Don't spread misinformation
