1. Because that’s what the market for a top 10 franchise qb says it’s worth.
2. Dak actually is a good qb and also the most disrespected qb at the same time. Dak has always played above his contract worth. If he was on another team doing what he’s doing, he would be highly touted and praised. But here, different story- everything is always exaggerated and blown out of proportion. The playoffs are what they are, he hasn’t been great. But neither has any other players on the team, the defense has been a disappearing act for over a decade. They play so well, up until certain points and then pick the worst days to have bad days. But Dak is a star qb in this league. Cry to your momma and get the hell over it.
3. Dak consistently take you to the playoffs, wins about 67% of his games, one of the highest in the league. Last 3 years 12-5 and in the playoffs. When Dak is healthy, Dak keeps you in contention and not be those bottom dwellers. He was runner up mvp, and played at a high level, reduced his turnovers that everyone was bitching about. Had some whoopsies- like every qb has- including the playoffs. He’s not perfect, but guess what, nobody is. Unless your name is Patrick Mahomes, and even him had some whoopsoe games- like the Super Bowl against the Bucs and Tom Brady.
