They improved at LB starting with Eric Kendricks in 2023 he played 848 snaps that would of led the Cowboys LB's in snaps Damone Clarke played 784 snaps and was forced to play out of position after LVE's injury. Overshown/Liufau are both violent players I am looking forward to seeing them play together and Kendricks will be a great leader/mentor for the young LB's on the team
The Linebackers are the main reason the team as a hole will be better than it was last year i believe

Why wouldn't we be better? LB was our weakness last season
We were too light and got pushed around which resulted in a bad run defense that couldn't protect a lead. We only lost LVE but he was a non-factor (hurt) for most of the season so we didn't lose much production.
We gained Overshown who should hit his stride in the first few games. Clark will be put in a better position to use his strengths. Kendricks will be the key who will get everyone lined up right and make sure they know their assignments. Liufau can learn from Kendricks and join in on the Double A gap blitzes. And of course Parsons can jump in on run downs to stop that run! Bell can come in on passing downs to cover RBs & TEs.
And Don't forget the biggest factor will be Zimmer's scheme will make the defense as a whole better!

Before watching it I'm going to say they'll have an uphill battle with no defensive tackles.

IMO the key to this defense getting bigger-faster-stronger will be Micah at LB and Zimmer knows this. If Clark is on the field at SAM this D will not only struggle it will fail just as it did last year. With Bell, Liufau, Overshown, Wilson and Micah I don't see how Clark see's a snap as a starter. This makes 33 the 7th LB at best.

In 2023 Cowboys NT's didnt help keep the LB's clean at all Jonathan Hankins run defense grade was 49.9 ranked 92nd per PFF Mazi Smith 34.9 run defense grade ranked 134th that is terrible
