My condolences and prayers to Larry Allen's family. Just heard the news a few minutes ago. It dont seem real. "The Great Wall" would not have been so without #73. Thank you, Larry. Rest In Peace 😞.

They don’t trust that Dak is a Big game winner when it counts. This is the Dallas Cowboys where it’s SB or bust none of the teams y’all talking about have that complete pressure of SB or bust they’re happy to get in the playoffs.
They should just sit on the Micah contract. See if that man can actually play linebacker. That’s what he was drafted as, and we have yet to see him establish himself as a linebacker. There’s more than just rushing the passer. We need in in the run game, that’s where he disappears. If he doesn’t develop there than trade him next season
Micah has 40 sacks. The question is what teams does he get most of these sacks against (The Giants or the 49ers) and when does he get them (The beginning of the season or later in the season). These things matter. My guess is from watching him is that he feasts on the lesser teams and tails off against quality opponents. As well my guess is he feeds early in the season and goes hungry later in the season (usually around game 12 he slows down immensely).

Dak went to a bigger college played against better talent while he put up good numbers while Trey didn’t even have 3k passing yards at North Dakota state and somehow got drafted I think Barry knows what he’s talking about

It takes TWO parties to make the Dak deal. Dak realizes the longer he waits, the more money he gets. Simple. Contracts rise every week. Do you wish a contract could happen quickly and efficiently and cost effectively. Sure. In this case, I'm not sure that a speedy negotiation results in a win win for the Cowboys and Dak. A fast contract would end up as a win for DAK and the Cowboys getting the short end of the stick and even more ridicule.
When you are a champion you are 'that guy'. Mahomes and Brady those have been 'that guy'. Why do we pay for empty calories? Players incentive is to put up numbers, not win a championship. I think the market is skewed.
I can't wait for all these guys to be eating their words when Trey is starting next year and Dak is gone.

Why not at some point give Trey an opportunity like Dak got when Romo went down. Let's be honest before that happened nobody even knew what Dak really had to offer.
Dak has done everything you could do in the regular season BUT if we're being intellectually honest his record in the playoffs has been dismall at best (I mean the GB game last year was embarrassing). We know what we have in Dak and if you want to continue to settle for these same results every year then resign him, BUT if you want to make a bold move that may or may not pay off then let's look at Trey Lance. Trade him to Washington for Payne 1st of 2025 and 2026 and a 3 rd 2027. Pay Dak an CD. Allow Sam Williams, Kneeland and Lawrence to set edges. sign Gilmore and Barr. Diggs, Gilmore on the ends and Bland back at slot. Allow Kendrick’s to teach our young talented LBs to be studs. Problem solved for years.
Micah is an amazing player but once he put out he wants to be a leader he has to prove it. It starts in the offseason working with and building up younger players. I never see this.
