- Beach fishing for trout and a shark, no way! The surf was filled with mullet so I knew there were going to be a lot of predator fish out there. Damn near dropped a bait on a sharks head without even know. No wonder we got an insta-bite on the shark rod.

Coop - you’d do every fish you catch and release a favor if you’d wet your hand before you grabbed them. I’m a marine biologist, that’s legit. Also - I use paddle tails and jig heads with very little success, a video on retrieval techniques would be awesome. Thanks man - early subscriber and enjoy your vids.

I nice set of boca grips will drastically if not eliminate the need to touch the fish on a successful release. I only started doing this 2 months ago after 30 years of fishing, always room to improve your technique. LagunaMadreMatt on instagram.

Around 11:30 on your second drop there was a small shark swimming nearby ,great video..
