Solar shed vent

- My garden shed was getting too hot in the summer! I mean over 100°F! So I decided to install a solar powered vent fan with a digital thermostatic controller. At a total cost of around $60 and an hours work it's making quite a difference and reducing the temperature in my shed by at least 20°F.

Hey Guy, I figure it’s almost time for an update of the whole solar system :)
Good point, someday I should do a complete walk through.
I would love to have your barn, I would have my shop in there, plus store my Porsche 944, my Jeep and my scooter. Great project by the way.
My "barn" is actually a 2-story workshop filled with floor model tools downstairs, and electronics lab and office upstairs. All those solar panels power this building, the house and my car. I'm as close to carbon neutral as I can get on my budget.
@@GuyMarsdenMakesStuff that’s really amazing, I like the idea of going with solar panels awesome touch. At least you have a decent place to film all of your awesome content.
@taranson3057 here's a video about how I installed solar panels, it's not that hard or particularly expensive when you do it yourself.

Don't worry, it'll get colder in the winter.
Yes, but meantime the planet as a whole is setting heat records daily. Can you say: "Climate Crisis?". Scary stuff.
Nice. Does this system need an inlet for fresh air and better circulation?
Of course, forgot to mention that there is a very large soffit vent that is screened all the way across the bottom of the roof.
