Unlike most shows, the cast of Enterprise never changed from start to finish. They had it right from the beginning, and the relationships and interactions were solid throughout.
It's actually not easy to know what's 'normal' for Vulcans, or how they're supposed to act. Of course, Spock, with whom we're most familiar, was half human, and seemed to feel compelled to be 'More Vulcan than Vulcan.'. They gave T'Pol multiple issues along the way, as she had no such inner conflict. When we first meet Spock's father, there's a preexisting tension between them, but he's still an amazing diplomat. And, again, they held off too long about revealing why most Vulcans in this show don't seem to be acting quite right. Still, I think this lady's pretty damned cool!
@@phillipstory2523 I agree. The cast was solid from day one. Tpol really grows a lot during the first season too.
