Historical Origins of the Russian-Ukrainian War 2022

Here we explore the long origins of the conflict between East & West, and between Ukraine and Russia. We examine imperialism, Liberalism, Communism, and many other political factors that have grown into a conflict that could ultimately conclude in the first war between the great world powers in nearly a century. I am not an expert on the history of Ukraine, but a more general historian of Europe, so please forgive any inaccuracies in details.
