Have you ever tried the rain bird r-van series? Same concept as the MP’s but I believe they emit .06 compared to the .04 of the MP. No tool required for adjustments which is nice. Can’t go wrong w either in my opinion
Nice explanation! For rotors, I found that the Hunter PGP Ultra with a check valve seem to last longer for me. I've tried a lot of different brands for rotors and find the PGP Ultra's to be the best cost/quality ratio.

If I ever switch back to rotors I will have to look into it.
