      I have a Bose as well. I added 2 10" JL Audio subs into a box that fits perfectly under the rear seat, along with a Fosgate amp to push them. After tweaking and blending the bass from the JL's with the Bose system, it sounds FANTASTIC. It's like surround bass.

      @maxum3300 Před 5 lety

      Yes. I installed 6x9 Kickers in my front doors and Kicker 6.5's in my rear doors all running off the factory radio and it made a noticeable improvement. I already had 2 JL Audio 10's powered by a Rockford Fosgate amp to enhance the stock sound but it sounds even better with the Kicker speakers. Next step is to add another amp to run more power to the door speakers.

    If I am going thru the TROUBLE of doing any thing to speaker I am adding a LEFT & RIGHT SUB WOOFER. I have a new 2018 GMC Sierra SLT z71 4X4 and it has BOSE SOUND SYSTEM but I forgot to order BUCKET SEATS that is the only way you get a BOSE SUB WOOFER with a GMC. Which I don't understand because my FRONT SEATS ARE BUCKET SEATS with a CENTER CONSOLE . MAYBE they are talking about the BACK SEATS being BUCKET SEATS.

    • @spareparts7630
      @spareparts7630 Před 5 lety

      The Bose sub is only 6.5 inches so it isn't going to hit very hard. It's probably in the console along with the amp that runs it.

    • @pyroman3106
      @pyroman3106  Před 5 lety

      Hey what's up George, I had the same issue. On the amp you can adjust the front and rear amplification. What i did was adjust the front to the point where i felt it was tolerable. I believe i amplified it about 2 clicks. My set up still sounded balanced.

    • @Demented-RD
      @Demented-RD Před 5 lety

    im going to do mine the rite way which is going to be expensive, going with an amp pro to get a clean low level rca output right at the radio then running that to the rockford dsr1 sound processor then to my mids and highs amp then into a 9 conductor cable going back up to the radio to the T harness that LLJ customs sells so i dont have to hack my stock wiring, 4 deaf bonce sylvesters for my door speakers 2 crescendo ft1 super tweets in the dash with 4 sundown audio 8's under the rear seat, the amp pro is badass because you get that clean low level pre out right at the radio but its 325 bucks and it allows you to ajust your door chime volume so the amp doesnt blast it like crazy

    • @pyroman3106
      @pyroman3106  Před 4 lety

      I believe it all depends on the type of speakers your running and the watt of the radio head unit. If you have an aftermarket stereo you probably won’t need it. If it’s stock like mine was and you want a crisper sound I would recommend one. If your not too sure install the speakers and see if it’s meets your satisfaction. All component speakers do is filter out the sound and send them to the appropriate speaker. The Kickers I bought me tweeter has 3 setting to fine tune. To be honest the for the Front speakers isn’t set to high due to the Door Chime.
      Hope this helps, any more questions I’m glad to help
