Where does it say angels don’t have wings? I’ve never seen that. Thanks.
I believe Dr. Heiser is concluding from the fact the “angel” is a job description which can be held by any elohim. For example, the two angels that saved Lot looked like men (Lot did not know they were angels).
Where does it say that they do?
They don’t. It’s why Michelangelo never painted a cherub with wings because the Bible does not describe it as having wings. Heiser has explained that while cherubim and seraphim do have wings, they are not angels. They are throne guardians. So looks like Michelangelo got it wrong too because he thought a cherub doesn’t have wings because angels do have wings but a cherub does have wings and it is not an angel. Hope that helps.
Thanks for clarifying everyone! I really appreciate it.
I have had 2 dreams with angels that had wings. Although, they werent wings like birds wings but were seemingly made of light. Just sayin.
I have had dreams I could fly and I didn’t have any wings. Just sayin. It was a dream.
