- First time using my Lonewolf902 canvas hammock hot tent shelter,
My stover is the outbacker stove.
The stove is heavy and sometimes a bit to big for some hot tents.
Spending the night hammock camping in a large private woodland using my pomoly canvas hammock hot tent shelter designed by Lonewolf902,
My first look at the Lonewolf902 canvas hammock hot tent shelter from pomoly.

Did anyone one else see the bug on the frying pan when he put the mushrooms on it? Or did I see wrong?🤣🤣
Yes I did lol more protein lol
You are so cool I love watching you you're so funny I love your accent you are my best friend and I watch every one of your camping trips and I love your food
I just clip one end of my hammock to the ridgeline and slide it back. I replaced the stakes with gutter spikes. My 3rd year using it. Love it. I've even used some tarp configurations with a pole and cot camped in it. It's huge when you fly it open. I cross the flaps over like lonewolf recommends in his videos for a tighter seal. Great video. Cheers from Cape breton Canada
Love your camping vids, I've learnt so much from you and other bushcrafters/wild campers I feel confident enough now to go any where and do any thing.
I just need to win the lottery as this kit ain't cheap!
You should have seasoned your tent before using it in the rain Dan.
Completely soak it with water , dry it out , soak it again and dry it out, that tightens all the little holes along the threads and the whole canvas.
I've seen a couple of videos on here where guys have done it with their Australian bivvy bags.
Great video Dan, Did you notice when uou put the mushrooms into the pan that a little bug went in aswell. You could see its legs moving as it was cooking. Hot tent looks great 👍
Little added seasoning lol
@@decone2674 My husband always would say a little extra protein never hurt anyone. It would gag me! and I wouldn't eat any of it! LOL
Hi Dan, I truly enjoy watching your videos. You are a very honest, everyday chap who obviously enjoys camping in all kinds of weather. I really enjoy the winter camping trips the best. I also like watching you cook different foods. I am from the USA and sometimes I don't understand what you are saying, but I love to listen to you talk. Anyway, keep up the good work. I would like to see a longer camping trip if you ever have time. A devoted subscriber. Carol
Hi Dan , great video again mate , except for the seafood , yuk ! , that pan with the holes punched through was a laugh mate , Be Well my Friend .
I carry a small 9" torpedo level to set my stove. It makes cooking easier.
The one you did camping with your girls was a top video m8👍enjoyed every minute
U could have cooked the muscles in the bag in ur frying pan lol. I think this is one of ur most toastiest camps great video Dan! Maybe one day I’ll be able to afford a hot stove xx
Your doing fine Dan. Just keep doing what your doing and be healthy and happy m8t.
The brush is a good idea but I would suggest popping into a plumbers merchants and getting some flue brushes. They have threaded heads and handles made of rigid twisted steel. There's a tiny bit of flex but they're fairly solid and go the distance
Cheers to you too Dan. Cracking vid. No wonder subs have gone up. Great news.
Such a genuine bloke mate really good watch all yr vids 👌
Thumbs up once again. Peace
Dan, that mussels problem was not just camping, but a life lesson. Plan B - there’s always a way to sort a problem. Good on ya pal. Big up..! 👍
Nice video Dan, thanks for sharing mate.
That's a beast ofa stove,I love it....
I haven't got a stove yet....it's next.
Great video! Good thing you weren't relying only on that leaky pot!!🤣🤣
Mate, that looks really relaxing! You work with sheet metal could you make an S bend or something so you could change the position of the stove!!
Finally got round to watching 😁
Another great video
Oscar outdoors on the Bombay Bad boy
Think he's hard as nails! 🏴
Im jot afraid of a little spice watch my video soon... (just got back in had a trip out this morning after camp so editing now.)
Onwards and upwards Dan , you deserve all the views you get mate , always been an Honest guy , down to earth , thoroughly enjoy watching your videos .
Hopefully it’s hot tent winter camping vs water camping :) good vid
Really enjoying watching your vids on both channels keep it up
300 notes for that bag!! Wowza.
Wow looks like a lot of room . Awesome kit . ATB Gail from Worcester Massachusetts USA 🇺🇸
Morning English Woodsman 🙂. Great video mate, shelter does look awesome. Nice subtle hint that you want to borrow my tent ha ha . No problem mate ☺️
Fantastic night out camping 🏕 👌 I'm pleased you kept warm and dry. That food looked delicious 😋
Nice to see you again !
Cracking vid as always mate
lol. this is hilarious 😆 brilliant camp and great tent too Cheers Dan
Hey Dan, congratulations on the subs. I just bought a Titanium folding tent stove, called Woods Walker, by fanwar. Got it from Amazon for £259. (Which went up to £375, then came down again. Saw it on a channel called Wiltshire man. As well as an iron wall tent. Never hot tented before so about to join the club.
I just recently got the same stove. Unfortunately it didn't come with the side warming grate. Oh well. It burns really good. I also got the fire hiking teepee tent. Ive set it up and burned in it. Haven't spent the night yet.
Daniel youve been doing this a long time m8 ignore the fools the idiots, the negatuve ppl and care only about the true followers who like myself take time to appreciate your content on your channel, you make my day just to watch the next vid m8😉👍👋👋👋
Cracking video again Dan loads of useful information thanks for sharing 👍
You got some cracking gear mate! I’ll have to look at a stove especially now I’m old! Lol… best wishes mate 👍🏽👍🏽😎
Enjoyed this briliant video
great video as always
I love the longer videos mate 🤙
Hi Dan.
Hope your well.
Great vid, would like one of those and a stove.
You could close the ends down to stop the draughts,
by using big bulldog clips,or spring clips from a pound shop or somewhere.
Stay well,mate.
Regards.
Brilliant, though I would use seasoned wood as unseasoned leaves sticky sap deposits in the chimney and on the fire glass which is very expensive. Have fun mate.
Great videos down to earth Great fun set ur stove up at home n u can get a flu cleaning log to burn 👍👍👍👍👍
Really enjoying watching your vids Dan. Especially the cooking…keep doing what your doing😀
nice video dan keep em comeing
Pretty sure you had a bug drop in the pan when you put the mushroom mix in 🤣
Love your camping videos. Its nice to see from different countries . Keep it up, your funny
How did that bug taste. At 22.19 you can see the poor little thing wiggle as it cooks. Great video. Love the tent.
Good show thanks
Loved the video Dan but I`m sure you`ve lost your marbles this week. I`ve been chuckling to myself all the way through. Cheers Pal !
Good setup that mate. Thanks and stay safe.
It's a good job the Tent isn't on loan. Smells like Harry Ramsdens on Spice! 😂
In the words of Gunny Highway: ‘Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.’
Love the perfect imperfection in your vids mate ❤️ guys like you have inspired me to start my own wild camping channel 👍👍
great camp dan, good to see scotts back,im really chewing over getting a hot tent n stove and your reviews have been invaluable, thanx.u the man dan..
Very nice Dan looked like a perfect cozy night. All the best pal 👍🏻🏴🏴🏴🏴
Your quick snacks are a full meal for anyone else! Always watch your videos every since I watched your 5 item challenge, cracked me up. Maybe try it again in the summer time?
Thanks again for the vids just bought myself the Oex phoxx 2 after using an old £20 one for two years on Dartmoor lol :) thanks for the reviews.
Skin side first always but then again my partner likes to cook salmon in foil with bit of butter garlic and other herbs etc comes out nice good content mate looking forward to seeing ya next video cheers
ngl those woods are erie kind of cool, watch out for slenderman haha great vid!
Scott's envy with his pot noodle soon starts to turn to smugness when your pan has a leak.... 🤣🤣
hi there long time subscriber
dats a big hot tent
😉
Oh danny boy the pipes the pipes are calling.
Hay dan was the bug tasty 22 mins in! High in protein and a good sourse of fiber i hav been told!
Nice camp Dan that sure is a big old hot tent:) I think using a metal cup to heat water for your drink is better than that big water heater. Shame about the bottom of the pan having those holes, the manufacturer needs to now about that... As for cooking fish, get the skin nice and crispy it's really nice then:)
Skin side down if you want crispy skin buddy, but makes no dif if your adding it to summat else really, great vid👍
Dan, thanks for pointing out tge seams/stitching not being fully waterproof, easy fix with some tapes but could be someone's downfall.
Fish mushrooms onions mint sauce & the Bug that fell out of the bag of mushrooms & onions, enjoy your feast 😋mmmm .how did you miss that🤔?
I say we protest until we get a full English Muppet camping video!!!
Hi Dan, Wow man you know how to eat on your camping trips, and who says you cant eat properly when your camping eh!. Being new to your channel I'm slowing watching all your video's and catching up. I await my invitation when your cooking grub like that. 🤣😋
@22.04, there was some kind of insect in the pan. Did you notice it?
Outstanding video
Even though not a child any more I still like hot dogs and cheeseburgers over most other meats for cook outs; I like cooking hot dogs with onions, peppers, mushrooms and banana peppers
Would love to watch you catch your fish and cook it. I love this channel. P.s I always cook fish skin down
Puppy show was fantastic.
good camping brother
Great video as always Dan. Fish is always cooked skin side down. Keep up the good work mate 👍
Feel a bit bad for the guy nursing the pot noodle while he pulls out the salmon and the mussels
It's Oscar outdoors 🤣🤣🤣 he had some fish mate
cool really
Nice tasty bug in the pan too lol x
Some of my friends use clothes pins and pinch the ends of the tent close. N Joy mate
Like the cold weather camping..the sound of rain adds the cozy touch
Always fun to see what your meals will be!
Perhaps a few clips like clothes pins (but stronger) to close most of the gaps in the tent
Looking forward to the next adventure
Take care 🇨🇦 ❤️
Another great vid Dan. Looking for a hot tent so interested to see how you get on next weekend with either the pomoly or onetigris.
Hi Dan you can use sticky velcro straps end of tarp good video 👍
For the salmon
Remove the scales and cook skin side down in a hot pan, get the skin crispy it tastes amazing. When you turn it add a big bit of butter and some lemon and let it finish cooking in the butter, basting it as it cooks
Yeah I'll be trying to prescribe to all the hot tinting people 902 is good yep I like watching his videos but every time I see something new I subscribe to it cuz there's no such thing as enough knowledge on hot tenting I'm going to go out in 2 weeks and try it for the first time I have a lily stove and I have a four-person cattle hiking hot tent TP we're going to try it I hope it stays as warm as all y'all say it does for real gets pretty cold up here in Northern Iowa cold enough it gets below zero sometimes last week it was 50 below with the windshield lol I'm excited to try this
That's a nice set up. Think I prefer it to the other hot tent you used in storm.
Hi from İstanbul Thanks For video
100% skin side down. Baking paper is good for cooking the fish in aswel mate
Cool love yer vids !=8)
Regarding the salmon… think sashimi and you wouldn’t have to worry about cooking it. 🍣
I'd be tempted to use a cot bed in that setup
Going to try that fish dish you made there, I keep doing the steaks, sausages and bacon cooking in my hot bivvy so need to do something different for my channel...Nice one Dan...Stay warm and take care...ATB Chris.
The best stove is the one you've got
I use a piece of threaded bar with a couple of thick zip ties on the end cut to size for the flue, bung it in an electric drill and it cleans it brilliantly
Good video. But couldn't you have used the frying pan for the mussels?
You ate some strange green bug dude mixed with ya veggies 😂
Ooohh nooooo don't eat that bug. Lol saw it come out of your bag and get fried alive haha .
Good videos though 👌
Cool video, love the shelter, would love one day to hot hammock tent, do you think if you'd have put a ground sheet down, given the weather ,that may of made a difference to the temperature inside the tent perhaps, scoff looked awesome 👌, enjoyable video as always, good health and safe travels, cheers craig 🌿
Skin side first. Because you should cook it the longest in that side. And after you turn it over you can if you choose remove the skin. Gives the most even cook and stops you charring the fish.
