We have played very good, but Canadians helped us to win by a frivolous way they entered the game. They looked like they were thinking the opponent is completely harmless. Their defense was ridiculously bad in the first half and also canadian goalie didn't have his day. It will only prove later if our team is that good to bring a medal.

Most cocky team Canada I've ever seen, one reason why Canada has been so consistent is because they have much better coaching that keeps the team level headed and they just go out there and take care of business. I certainly didn't see that in this game.
Canada got what they deserved, they didn't show up at all. Just like last tournament (even though we squeezed out a win) our weakness is goaltending and it shows. Hopefully we pull it off again, but without solid goaltending it will be a tough tourney.
I saw a good comment on the Finnish Canada game indicating Canada is in trouble on defence. Meaning giving up far too many goals on too few shots. As noted by an earlier comment below, we do not see much of this game here. However, in previous games I was amazed at how many missed scoring opportunities Canada made. Sometimes guys have a bit of bad luck but here we are seeing a lot of guys not executing with killer instinct. That will have to change because they don't look like they are able to win 3-2.
To be honest I haven't even expected such play of our boys against Canada although there were two aspects that help us to win a game. The first one after unrecognized goal after coach's challenge and second was game misconduct penalty for Dean however it was a great match from both of these sides except for penalties for canadian team.

Most cocky team Canada I've ever seen, one reason why Canada has been so consistent is because they have much better coaching that keeps the team level headed and they just go out there and take care of business. I certainly didn't see that in this game.

Can-Cze games are the most entertaining. Can't tell about Canadians fate yet as they are strong in must win games.
They need to break up the lines. Put Bedard with Stank and Roy. Move Wright down to the forth line. Second line should be Dean, Dach, and Bankier.

Canada got what they deserved, they didn't show up at all. Just like last tournament (even though we squeezed out a win) our weakness is goaltending and it shows. Hopefully we pull it off again, but without solid goaltending it will be a tough tourney.
I saw a good comment on the Finnish Canada game indicating Canada is in trouble on defence. Meaning giving up far too many goals on too few shots. As noted by an earlier comment below, we do not see much of this game here. However, in previous games I was amazed at how many missed scoring opportunities Canada made. Sometimes guys have a bit of bad luck but here we are seeing a lot of guys not executing with killer instinct. That will have to change because they don't look like they are able to win 3-2.
To be honest I haven't even expected such play of our boys against Canada although there were two aspects that help us to win a game. The first one after unrecognized goal after coach's challenge and second was game misconduct penalty for Dean however it was a great match from both of these sides except for penalties for canadian team.
