- hi guys! first of all, thanks so much for all the love and kindness on my previous vlog - why do i feel like everyone thats a part of this channel are literal soul mates?! haha!
I wanted to go out and spend a day getting re-inspired and I find that museums and bookstores really recharge my creative batteries. I went to a few new spots in Seoul along with a few old spots. We're entering the final bits of summer here in Korea (thank god) and i cant tell you how excited i am for autum. ALSO sorry for vlogging while i still had a bit of vertigo, i feel like parts of this vlog are shakier than usual and thats totally my bad hahaha see you next time!

@@caricakes I feel the same way. I usually watch other's vlogs mostly because I miss Korea, or I'm there for the specific content (e.g. eating food a, traveling place b), but this is the only vlog channel I view for the perspective.

Thank you Cari for sharing your life in South Korea. I'm an adopted Korean who came to the US when I was nine months old in 1970. I have always wanted to go back but life is happening and finances, work, and personal commitments get in the way.
However by following your vlog I feel like I can see Korea, if only vicariously.
Paused the video to write this really quick. The same thing kind of happened to me when I first moved out my house. It was my first time living alone and I missed home so much. My home home is near train tracks and I can hear the trains almost every day, and I never realized how much I missed them until they were gone. Then one day I was on my living room floor on a yoga mat reading (cause I didn't have a couch lol) and my patio door was open and I distinctly remember hearing a train! It was coming from a couple blocks from my apartment and I started crying cause it was so comforting and I hadn't even realized that it made me feel at home until that moment. But yeah anyways lol I just felt like that related to your art book/history books from the libraries in the states. Love the video so farđ„°
those little signs from the universe are what keep me going, i swear!! that little memory almost made me tear up :')
it made me smile when I saw you talking with so much happiness about finding that amazing library & getting inspired maybe the Universe saw what you needed & it sended you a sign I am not usually believing in that but the thought makes it even more sweeter but please make that video about being uninspired I really needed that too, I always enjoy ur videos so much : )

that 'oats' cafe is so lovely. Honestly one of the things I miss the most about being back in Australia is that our cafes don't care about presentation and cute plates and pretty decor as much đ This vlog was wonderful and cosy as always (and i like how may books were in it) đđ

'the stress fever broke' what a great metaphor for when we come out of our anxiety/angst/whatever it is that has been tying our brain in a knot. I broke my own stress fever recently this week (between work, wedding planning and grad school - yikes) and am happy to be down here on earth again lol

I find when you do these walk abouts I get very relaxed, like I'm walking it myself. You could do an hour video and I'd love it. I suffer with vertigo also. It seems when it's coming to an end I get confused easily. I guess having the world spin for a few days takes time to get back to normal. Stay healthy, blessed be.
