I’ve actually heard that superstition about the road along Deoksugung and I guess the rationale was because it was the route to the divorce court, and that’s where the superstition sprung from!

Ah you beat me to it! That's what I was told, too, unhappy couples had to walk down that road to get to the divorce court. Funny how easy the mind can be influenced when it's not on guard. I'd bet a lot of complacent couples questioned themselves whenever they found themselves walking there. Because for some reason back in the day, and now still, being complacent in a relationship is a 'bad' thing. ie, I'm not happy, but I'm not sad, but I feel unfilfilled (aka bored) so I must move on. Too many people are doing that.

I was having this good day, very productive and intense attending to my patients, I arrived at my house and fell asleep for a couple of hours, when I woke up I felt more tired and a little disoriented, it was there when I saw that you had uploaded a video. .. as always i relaxed too much watching it, it made me laugh that you were tired too, I felt accompanied. I found the museum very interesting and unintentionally I found myself thinking that if I ever travel to Korea I want to go to all these places that you visit and that inspire me, I felt very grateful that I could meet them a little through your eyes while I can't go there. Your videos are like being with a friend, many times you do very interesting things with your friends but you also rest in the house with them. The important thing is not what you do, it is what you transmit

The area @ 3:02 will host a Formula E race. Formula E is a international electric car racing series. Car makers like Porsche, BMW, Jaguar, Audi, Nissan and EV start-up like NIO (Chinese EV manufacturer). They compete on street circuits in cities like London, New York, Paris, Hong Kong and now Seoul. The series race on city circuits so folks could use public transportation instead of driving out into the boonies to a dedicated race track. The race is on May 3rd so hey! Why not? I missed out on the NY round this past summer. But I may catch it the next time around.

i am SO glad you're doing a 'travel jeju by public transport' thing, I'm planning on travelling there soon and the thought of driving in a foreign country terrifies me so I've always planned my travels using public transport only.

I'm definitely in a funk. My body hasn't been adjusting well to Korea this time around. And then I made the stupid decision to buy groceries cause I happened to be near a Lotte Mart. Literally carrying a boulder of a bag of groceries home (large sized Baggu) I've further exhausted my deteriorating body that I thought had recovered a bit. Could hardly get out of bed today but still decided to go check out the Fireworks festival at the Hangang. Watched the first 30min and left cause I could feel myself falling apart. I think I will be bedridden for the next couple of days, at least I have groceries. And thank goodness for Yogiyo! My friend warned me the fireworks weren't worth it cause it's a dangerous feat! OMG, the swarms of ppl, insanity >_< But I absolutely love fireworks, so even tho I was falling apart, those first 30min were worth it.......I think......
I'll have to rewatch your vids and re-experience Seoul through them for the time being. And make notes of the places I'd like to check out when I'm no longer a hot mess~
