Do you know anyone/anywhere I could take or send my drum to have it re skinned professionally?

I heard I don't must whole rope take off from verticals.

I remove all the rope because I'm not good enough to just loosen the rope. I find it easier to remove all the rope and start over. Nick

@@wwdrums It's super easy to do without taking all the verticals off! So long as the drum shell, bearing edge and rings/cow hitches are in good condition, you just remove a 3rd of the vertical rope and then give slack to the rest of the verticals then you can pull off and slide the top ring off to the side of the drum and then lift the skin with flesh ring off. After removing the old skin, all that needs to be done is lace the new skin around the flesh ring, position it onto the drum and slide the top ring back over then you only have to re-lace a 3rd of the drum and it saves a lot of time! Obviously only good for drums already In good condition but is significantly quicker and then avoids the skin drying out too much before finishing lacing the drum. :)

@@jackphilpott5727 That's great advice. I'll give that a try sometime. For some reason I always want to start from the very beginning.
