Thanks for all the great content you've put up! How does camel skin compare with goat skin, generally? Are they tougher and more durable? What range of tones do they offer?
I have a 14x26 drum I'm not sure where it was made it has a deep sound with deep low tones I would like to get high tones but still keep the low base what skin would you recommend?. It's made out of lynke wood sorry I don't know how to spell it.

Sorry, I have no experience or knowledge of camel
HELP! I need to order a skin for my drum and the website listed in this video seems to be outdated/gone.
Point me toward the direction of goat skin please. I’ve searched up and down and have no luck.
What size goat skin do you need? How much margin does there need to be around the edge of the drum in order to install it well?
If you drum has a 13" head get a skin that is at least 19" . The more excess you have the better.
@@wwdrums Thank you.

I would recommend a heavy or thick head.
Can sheep skin be used instead of goat
lagendary khan no, too elastic
i had a sheep skin once, it was really twangy with higher notes and a really deep bass. a lot of sound, very thin and wore through it within a year.
