3D 505 vs. Victory Nano Polish and Seal ( which is best? )

  • In this video I'll compare and contrast my 2 most used polishing products in my mobile detailing business. Both 3D 505 and Drive Auto Appearance's Victory Nano Polish and Seal are great All-In-One polishes, but is one better than the other? Both give you paint correction and paint sealant capability. I taped off the hood on this Chevy Trailblazer to use both and find out.
1 step paint correction is the bread and butter of my detailing business, I do a lot of them. So I'll give you my honest opinion on both polishes. Enjoy!

Thanks for the review! I just got 505, but this is my slow season for my business, and the shop where I work doesn't do a lot of all in one jobs.
I used 3D Speed a lot last season, and it worked great.
I also just got the Jescar All In One. I've been very happy with the Jescar line of abrasives in general.
This coming season I'll be giving these a real good work out.
I also prefer the Duetto out of all the Rupes polishers.

Good video , I’ve been using the Xtreme Solutions 369 Trifecta as a one step it leaves behind SiO2 and cuts good. Really nice on domestic vehicles.

I wonder if that product is similar to CarPro Essence? That also leaves SiO2 behind.

@@luxurycardetailingthehamptons Only similarly is they both leave SiO2 behind. The Trifecta has way more cut. Anywhere from 1800 and finer.

Interesting, I'll have to check that out.

Can I apply ceramic on 3d aat 505. Thank you very much for your reply.

CarPro Essence is the only polish I'm aware of that you can apply ceramic over. Otherwise I would not recommend using an AIO to correct for a ceramic coating. It'll create more work to prep for the ceramic if your polish has wax or a sealant in it. I generally use Menzerna 3800 to polish for ceramic coatings.

I recommend applying a coating or dedicated sealant to a clean surface (vs one that’s been AIO’d). I’d safely bet that coatings are all engineered to bond to clearcoat/paint…not other products.

Does the 3D 505 thin the clear coat

Any polish that you're using with a machine will thin the clear coat. 505 is very mild though and depending on what pad you're using it doesn't take much off.

Have you tried the Souns swirl buster polish. It does not thin the clear coat. I hope you make a video on it.
