As a representative of the long time viewers, here is an explanation of the rating system for anyone new here!
Bean: a rating of the feeling you get in your guts when you Give It The Beans
Cookie: an assessment of value
Wrench: an assessment of how much of an a** pain something would be to work on
Squid: a rating of a vehicles handling abilities
Penguin: an assessment of how much Sarah personally likes a vehicle
Thank you for the confirmation of my thought of what the squid rating was for since it's in the place of the meatball. Haha
I greatly appreciate it
What's the max score? And higher score the better?
@@SSS_M23 10 is the max and yes the higher the better. But with the wrench score the higher the number the harder it is to work on
Thanks for explaining that. It still seems a little odd but works I guess .
Can't beat these thorough and entertaining reviews.
"This ain't some high school kid's drift car..." LOL. I agree. Paint the whole car, inside and out.
Great review, the CVT had issues and really hurt Infiniti's reliability image. Get one without the CVT and these are reliable cars. On my third Infiniti in a row (M56, Q50 RS, Q60 RS. ) Also have a Lexus RX350 and Id rank my Infiniti's every bit as reliable as the Lexus. With Infiniti you get nicer styling, more performance, and better interior materials. My brand preference between the two is definitely Infiniti. Every bit as reliable and nicer vehicle
They all have cvt
Not on the 2023 Infiniti QX60@@user-uu8bs8tg1k
@@user-uu8bs8tg1kno they don’t. second gen QX60 has a 9-speed automatic, second gen QX80 has a 7-speed automatic with the third gen’s TBA
That sissor sister hand gesture when talking about Nissan and Infinity. XD
Another informative and entertaining vehicle review. Love your work Sarah!
now this is a real review!!!! humor and actual facts. Love it
Appreciate these in-depth reviews, and appreciate the additional depth and background on the powertrain.
Sarah gives us insight. When you see vehicles going down the road, you can have knowledge about the details. Thanks to her diligence and variety of reviews.
I love it when Sarah finds out who the manufacturer of rims are❤
Yay!! 2 days of Sarah! Our cups runneth over!!😁
Happy Humpday Sarah!!
Best car reviewer ever!
Stay excellent!!!😎
So does hers.
Thanks Sarah 🌻🐧
Thank you Sarah!
another brilliant review Sarah, Thank you!
I really love the outfit match with the interior! My textures and fabric ocd got super tingly with joy
I wanted to mention that your pointer is a nice touch=)
Sarah, you are smart, fun, informative and a real attention grabber! Thanks for your overview. Seriously looking at the sister Pathfinder and look forward to your review of it's 2024 hybrid version!
Awesome work
Another Great Review, Absolutely Banging
Your descriptions are hilarious.
I love that we get to see Sarah being Sarah on 2 channels.
Cool video thanks.
That’s a very attractive SUV. I do wonder why they design inserts at the rear where exhaust tips would be if they aren’t going to have actual or fake pipes. 🤷♂️ As always, excellent and unbiased assessment. Thank you, Sarah.
The energy I got from Sarah's response to giving it the beans was, "It's ok QX60 we can just cuddle." 😅😅
Gorgeous as always and humor too.
I was just saying there should be a Red Sport of this 💯🤞🏽
The part about penguin and the use of popsicle was funny
Nice double delta review!
I do enjoy your reviews; even when they are of appliance cars.
That interior is quite luxuriously appointed. Absolutely love that diamond quilt stitching on the dash. Plus, I love the Warm Titanium (paired with the Saddle Brown interior) after having seen it in person, really sets off the styling. Calm, and comfortable motoring seem to be the QX60's strong point, I believe Infiniti has a hit on their hands. Great review.
Great choice of music...The Cars, just what I needed. 👍😎😎😎😎😎
Sarah you are Beautiful, intelligent and funny .your attention to detail and your reviews are spot on keep up the great content.
That volume button is wonderful for my ocd unlike mk5 golf ones
Great Job!!! Thank You...:-)
way better than watching doug demuro trying to squeeze himself in the backseats.
Only one Miss Sarah!
I really miss the G 35 models, I used to have a I 30t I loved that car it had a quffa diff , an awesome brake petal feedback ! I didn’t have super long travel but in the short travel distance that had it was very accurate I remember that….. and as a driver I feel when you have great brake pedal feedback on a car it’s very assuring , The Subaru has a long pedal travel which I’m not a huge fan of ! the only thing I did not like was the solid rear axle in the back, and the transmission was anemic they did offer manual transmission with the VQ30, hopefully one day Nissan/ Infiniti we’ll get back on track.
manual transmissions aren’t coming back on any Infiniti and the only car they’re making moving forward is the Q50. if you want a manual coupe, you’re gonna have to buy the Nissan Z
BTW Sarah our Subaru interior chime on ignition is the same chime Infiniti used to use FYI…
Can't believe it's a FWD architecture. Let alone using the VQ still...
Always a blast with your reviews! 🙂
@brianeugenelee - unfortunately for you Nissan needs Mitsubishi in Japan as much as Toyota needs Daihatsu for their Kei-sized cars and trucks.
Also Mitsubishi seems to now follow a policy of making / selling what Nissan can't or won't sell. The new regular Outlander uses the NA-2.5L not mostly (just CA's base model) on the US-spec Rogue (the PHEV still uses the World Engine-derived NA-2.4L with a Misu-designed electric motor system not shared with Nissan) and has the 3rd row of seats the Rogue haven't ever had (once they had 2 removable jump seats as their 6th and 7th seat, but not a bench). The next '24 Outlander Sport is rumored to be made on the next Rogue Sport / Qashqai platform, which won't be sold in US or CA.
Mitsubishi may have a better lineup than Nissan unless the latter "gets busy" and the Ariya won't help much.
I was shaking my head at the transverse V6. Puke. 🤮
@Brian Lee So you want Mitsubishi to go out of business because they didn't bring back the Evo? Bruh, there's a reason why they didn't brought the Evo back is that it doesn't sell, Mitsubishi is struggling and you want them to invest their money in a car that barely sells? The reason why Mitsubishi's line-up is almost all crossovers these days is that because that's what sells, the new Outlander is a hit, Mitsubishi's sales are improving, they're not going anywhere dear.
You mean like the acura mdx? Or something like the Cadillac ct6? Or maybe like the rx 7 passenger? They haven't switched to rwd yet. Idk if they will.
Subbed!
I like these technically dense reviews, TV and Magazine reviewers pretty much dropped it from their content a long time ago. proves it os possible to do that and still have a fun delivery.
Love that engine……silky smooth 👍……just like Sarah 😁
Am very happy with my older sister from a different Mister : 2015 Nissan Leaf SV . Bose sound , heated seats & steering , cruise control , heat-pump , GPS . Much nicer than the 1963 Ford F-100 pick-up it replaced! At $9K / used in 2017 @ 38K miles it was still like new . . . . & still is 'like-new' ! ! Charge it from my back-yard off-grid solar panels & have only had to add washer fluid a couple times in almost six years. Being retired I have yet to push it's 80 mile range . . . . . so it is 'perfect' for me ! take care, rh
also back-up camera with 360 view . . . .
11:10 one of my all time favorite Sarah moments
Guess thats the last Infinity brand review
Spoken like a true mechanic! 😀
(I'm one so I know!)
@@robinlodewyks1900 It would be worth it
The bending over close up hooter shot?
@@rogersmith7396 the cussing of the engineers
Nice interior indeed
Ha ha ha , Popsicles or maybe fudgsicles? OMFG ! Made my day !🐧
Must be a short day. North pole?
Thanks for keeping us SAE folk informed.
ZF 9HP50 made by ZF in South Carolina.
FLICK, BOOGER! 😂
Did my girl just invoke Capture Picard?! Just when you thought things couldn't get better.... Bam!
Nice review.
I'm still wondering about the lizard-fart thing.
Maybe it would be dusty, if it's even possible.
My favorite thing about these videos is watching Sarah tap everything with her nails 😂😂
Do you think that the V 6 has enough power to pull 6,000lbs if needed ? Wasn’t sure on your thoughts on that. Also. My best part for your reviews is the breaking test :0 so awesome :)
Great idea to Red Sport that rig
7:10 Behold a folded Sarah - those Japanese have excelled in human origami
now to have z1 tune it and upgrade exhaust!
Shouldve mentioned of you just pish the 2nd row sest up 1 or 2 inches the 2nd row will still have enough space and you can recline the angle of the 3rd row so its more liveable but adults might want to skip a long trip back there!
Sarah and her inside voice! 😂
The Infiniti brakes are definitely impressive. Much better than my BMW. I miss them a bit lol
lol that look of “Shit I might be cussin’ a little too much”
Always enjoy your videos Sarah
Nissan _was_ awesome in the 90s. As they operate as more of their own entity, I think they can get back to awesome. Would be interesting to see if the Pathfinder does any of that undercoat protection. I don't see a typical Infiniti owner taking their Infiniti off-road.
The new problem is direct injection which leaves the valves dirty
@@Zzus321 Could that be addressed with something like Seafoam on the air intake?
@@Zzus321 my Forester is Direct Injection only and I haven’t had any issue now after 9 years. The problem is over exaggerated in its severity, but I agree Port+Direct is the best way to go!
If Nissan-Infinity wants more reliability , is highly questionable the use of G.D.I. only direct injectors, even Hyundai decided to eliminate G.D.I and replaced with a combined injection system where multi port and G.D.I are used, no matter they eliminated their Hyundai Accent and switched to CVT'S automatic transmissions only; 2 mistakes. The less expensive Hyundai is now $3,000 more expensive to buy, the Venue, and the CVT'S automatic......the 1-3 miles per gallon improvement could be achieved with better driving habits, without having to expose yourself to premature expensive CVT'S replacement. Specialized transmission mechanics say over the Internet 9 out of 10 times a CVT automatic transmission is not repairable. Is not like 4 speed 5 speed or 6 speed automatic transmission at all. Nisaan would return to its recognized higher quality standards of the past if they eliminate everything established by Carlos Ghosn and others not so well known like Mr. Patrick Pelata, a no. Japanese Nissan Executive who said and quote: "we have to be careful with overquality because owners will not keep their cars for 10 years. " Then, this bad philosophy makes manufacturers produce vehicles that start to fail at 5 years with expensive repairs for the next 5. My 2005 Toyota Corolla bought since new in 2004 is 18 years 2 months. Many people prefer overquality unlike Patrick Pelata said years ago I think it still appears over the Internet.
Oh, that was a nice surprise! Did not expect a new video here so soon after the latest one on the main channel! - Don't despise minivans, Sarah - they are excellent ways of travel, (especially the european ones you never got in the US). Sad thing is that they never made any effort to do minivans for active drivers (in the US), which gave them an undeserved bad rep, even here in Europe, and now they are dying off for no rational reason - they still have a place in the market I feel. Loads of space in a realatively compact format and great visability for all passengers can not be a bad thing! Please make sure to try out the VW ID Buzz as soon as you can - I enjoyed driving that a lot! Thank you for what you do and Stay Awesome!
Yeah, my goal is once a month here.. but it’s tough since I have no extra time to edit any more videos
@@GiveItTheBeans -Oh, no need to rush, as long as it happens some time. If you do get arround to test an ID Buzz, I hope you can get your hands on one of the funky, colorful ones with two-tone paint job. Me, I got to test an all black one... Looked like a mobster-van for collecting protection money or possibly people rolled up in carpets. 😅That was the only thing I did not like about it. That, and that the test drive was pretty short... Anyway - thank you for doing the best car-reviews on the internet. All the best, from Sweden!
When are you making a video of the Toyota GR Corolla?
I dunno, Toyota hasn’t offered me one yet
Fancy soccer mom car. Nice review. 👌
Nah, the acura and the lexus RX 350 is a more of a soccer mom car. I think most would agree this is a great choice for the dads!
Lol I see Nissan hasn’t changed their exhaust pipe in underneath the engine I literally had the same set up on my 99 I30 lol
5:45 That's wild! Why the wheels are rotating in opposite directions?!?
That's what happens when you have an open differential.
Early Coffee ❤
Is that lake I canofnut behind the wheel
SARAH!!!!!
My QX60 2023 (Autograph) looks very nice, but has a lot of problems....hope someone can help me...
1-
The outside rearview mirrors vibrate or shake slightly while driving, mostly on the driver's side.
2-
The problem on the climate control panel persists,
at 7:00 pm when the auto dim system is engaged automatically (light sensor),
it's impossible to see any in the Climate control , I need to set the dim Instrument Brightness Control to the maximum position to see what's going on!
3- When Shift to parking, sometimes, the unlock doors function doesn't work.
When you set it on ÏGINITION OFF" it works fine.
I like to stick mode
Let’s get you in that 2nd and 3 rd Row SkirtNice Interior Geo Dweep DWEEPLLY
Bend over the front seat to show how you would slap your kids around. Dammit Billy I said no more Mr. Grouch in the fucking car.
I like my Q60.
I think mines more around 130.
Speaking of kinks and bugs.. how did you magicobble 377kw and 601nm in your conversion from imperial measurements? 🤨🤭
Ouch the popsicle relationship to a penguin ass😂🤣🤣🤣
12:05 are the seat bottoms dirty, or is that just a visual effect from the perforations?
Its the optional working mans seat. Get the Hoy Faloy option if you want clean.
My mom had a qx60. I hated the seats. They were very uncomfortable
Is that a car in the background?
I would recheck some info on the transmission. It was my understanding that the Pathfinder uses a Mercedes licensed, Jatco manufactured 9-speed, while this uses a ZF straight from ZF.
The pathfinder uses the same zf 9 speed transmission as this qx60 because they’re built on the same platform.
The frontier and Z are I believe are using the Mercedes licensed jatco built 9 speed. Remember the Mercedes 9 speed is a RWD transmission not a fwd transmission. But the 9 speed fwd transmission comes from either zf or GM
@@naveenthemachine thank you for clarifying. Aa this has a ZF stamp on it, I assume it's coming directly from ZF, correct? Rather than being built by Jatco.
@@LegalEagle117 yeah. The 9 speed in the qx60 pathfinder is from zf directly. The other 9 speed is a RWD transmission
I said what I said.
My bearded dragon lizard LOVED soy beans.
Yep that’s a really nice interior. And please keep yelling! 😂
Ciao Bella, I think if the lizard would fart it would probably explode itself to the ice age. 😅 Girthy is definitely in and always probably will be in and sometimes out. 🎉 Someday imma get that R32 Someday.
Why did you make scisors with you hands when saying sister 🤔
'👍'
Rear HVAC at 61⁰f, you dropped the ball there but the judges will let it slide this one time.
9:45 - that lb/ft to Nm conversion is waaaay off. Closing on double the correct values.
AVG score. 4.82
The exterior styling similar to Toyota Fortuner
Wish they would ditch the timing belt for a chain
Whoa there missy...this isn't Sarah'n'Tuned channel???
Well, guess I'll just have to subscribe to them both, won't I.
Not to stick a knife in the back of Infinity and twist it around a bit but:
Infinity = Nissan = /= Renault by association. Which is probably where they got the idea for the outstanding interior design, but also the cost cutting unpainted engine bay.
At least its not a Citroen.
Haha nice "shport". That is how we pronounce it in South Germany. 😁
@9:50
270 lb/ft or 601 nm sounds wrong. Don´t have the exact number but given this is a 3,5 N/A it´s more like 370 nm. And kw is also too high. Just wanted to mention it.
Yeah they´re coming back to where they once were!
Wow, looks like a 2017 Santa Fe
One question do momma and poppa penguins use the same stick.😬
Nice Review
😎🍺👍🇦🇺
Now that the Lexus RX and Toyota Grand Highlander offer over 360HP, Infiniti needs to up their game in the mid-gen refresh.
I would suggest a hypersonic ram jet. Coming soon on the new Lada.
Why have airboxes got so big and clunky why cabt it just be a simple smooth bend pipe from the air inlet box
Oooh. Caught yourself @ 11:10
Props to Nissan for the ability to still use a 20 year old v6. Just as long as the Toyota 4.0 and sti engine isn’t far behind.
There's still no substitution for V8
