I’m getting dreads and everyone around me has been saying they’ll be disappointed because I’ll have ugly hair. It’s hurtful because dreads r so lovely. I hope I look like her with her stunning dreads and that the criticism stops. Sorry just had to rant a minute

I live in the UK and we don't get trains like that - We went to California 30 years ago and one day going down Highway 1, we got stopped by one of those trains. We pulled over and made a cup of tea while we waited lol
How long does the curl last? Will it last until the next wash?
I wear all my beads.....all the time! I've had to stop buying them as I'm running out of room. I'm like a magpie - if it's shiny; it goes in my hair. I've got my six year old sons amber bracelet wrapped around one of my locs

Did you go to bed with wet hair?
I was always told don’t go to bed with wet dread unless you have to, to prevent mold?

Hi Liza.
If I got this right, the process is as follows:
-wash the locks in the evening
-do the brades
-in the morning blowdry the brades
-unbrade locks
I got half sinthetics and had almost zero result. Mihgt the reason be this or a different hair type? Or did I missunderstand the procedure? What do you think.
