🌊, loved this review and your vibe sis. I’m also from Florida and just cruised on the MSC Seaside in June. I had an incredible time. We took a lil family cruise…about 16 of us. We had six cabins all together. My husband and I are in our 50’s. My two kids, their partners, a few nieces and nephews are in their 30’s, some in early their 20’s, teenagers and my two grandkids, ages 9 and 15. And we ALL had a good time. The food, the dining, the entertainment, the entire ship employees were amazing except for our diner waitress. But that’s another story lol. We’re booking another cruise with MSC as we speak. I came here because I’m thinking about The Divina for our next cruise. This time we’re doing 7 days because the five wasn’t enough. Thank you again for your review and I am a new subscriber.

Glad I could help ☺️ I did not do any excursions this time around because I’ve been to this port before, in the past I hired a taxi to take me and my family around, stopped at Atlantis, beach, conch place, market for souvenirs, and neighborhoods etc in the town. This time around we just got off the ship and walked around near by and got back on, it was verge hot! 😊
Hey going on a cruise with MSC divina on the 18th. I was wondering can I access the different beach areas without purchasing the excursion online? Or is the beach blocked off for those who purchased them? A little confused on that. I wanted to do the adults only blue lagoon pirate cove excursion.

Great review. The Safety video is on the English channel 6. The limited "free" room service menu and the "pay per view" movies was a bust for us, too. Otherwise, we completely enjoyed our MSC cruise on the MSC Seashore.

You touched a little on solo pricing going up, I just booked a solo booking and there are some cruises they won't even let you book with 1 person. I was going to book a trip on the seascape but when I switched it to one person it said it was sold out. The price for the cabin itself basically doubles now, but the drink package and internet stays the same.
I did see that the solo rates were going to change soon when I was looking so I’m assuming that happened based on your experience, which sucks because that was one of the reasons I chose this line.

I’m not certain about snacks because I didn’t take any, I did travel with my passport but I believe birth certificate is fine.

Ended my cruise on the MSC Divina 28th of December 2023, after an 11 day cruise in the Caribbean. Lovely ship, packed full. I had a family group of 10 with me and we had a great time. Compared to RCCL MSC isn`t up to delivering the real, cruise feeling. Marble flooring were slippery and dangerous, for a guy like me, an amputee. The food was OK, but as an italian ship i really had expected more and better food. They didn`t deliver pizza and pasta dishes the way italians do. Very friendly staff and the waiters did a good job. Boarding in Miami was 8 hours of hell. Standing in line, all 4000+, in the sun, no information, no water as the vending machines (2) were emptied in a moment. Disembarcation was also a terrible happening as the staff had taken my personal, unmarked bag with them. My passport, money, transferpapers was in that bag and the reception couldn`t identify it. 4 hours heft waiting before I could disembark. My party had disembarked almost 2 hours befor, on schedule. My next cruise will NOT be with MSC.

So just to *clarify* they don’t charge for double occupancy so can i purchased one ticket and bring some one along ?
As a solo cruiser most cruise lines charge fees that’s close to the price of double occupancy, this cruise line at one point did not , however if you are bringing someone that is considered double occupancy and no longer a solo cruise so you will have to put the second person on the reservation that is traveling with you and fees will apply, they didn’t have as many fees as other cruise lines if you were going alone. Hope that helps! 😉

The $58 is the crew tip. $ per day per person.. removing it takes money away from the hard working staff.
It’s already done, but thanks for the explanation. Had the front desk explained that maybe I would’ve considered not removing, but they removed it without me even asking them to or that explanation, but I tipped everyone that I encountered who gave great service and deserved it, so no worries! 😉
I have been curious about MSC. Really am wondering what the $52 was about. I do not like having to slum down to guest services. Anxiety 😩

I was so very disheartened to hear that you removed the Hotel Service Charge $58 fee because that is the tip that MSC line distributes to ALL its extremely hard workers both in front and back of the house like stewards up front and workers in the laundry that the passenger never sees. These crew members are paid a pittance in salary and have to sacrifice so much time away from their families, as you know most crew members come from impoverished countries. I find it hard to believe. if you are a seasoned cruiser you didn't know what this fee is for as EVERY cruise line assesses a daily gratuity/service charge to every passengers invoice. What a shame that you are using your influence on CZcams to actually encourage your subscribers to take food out of a families mouth. So sad.
Thanks for your concerns Brian Andrews , however I believe you should direct this energy to MSC customer service sharing your concerns to those who actually get paid to care about your feedback, thoughts and opinions , I honestly don’t 😊
While you’re at it please mention the workers at guest services who OFFERED to remove these charges when I ONLY inquired about what exactly is the fee for.
Every time I have booked a cruise I pre pay gratuities and leave tips which I MENTIONED in the video!!! I’m sure you heard that though because you made it to the end of the video where I mentioned the $58 fee.
