Hi. I was surprised by the comments on your videos about this radio. Some people were very dismissive and I did feel the same way initially but it is a unique radio. I'd like one but the price is still a bit high, plus the birdies. I might well get one. The illuminated keys is a very nice touch, especially if you're often awake at night, like me. Thanks for the videos.
The illuminated buttons are a great feature. The long battery life is good. The wifi is an asset, However, i do not feel the positives outweigh the negatives.
Hello my friend .yes so much of what you say is exactly what i have found on my unit.. thankyou for being honest. Your reviews are still the best. Ron z.WA3090SWL.
I do both wifi radio and shortwave utility monitoring, I want to like the concept, but I don't know , what I am looking for is a good portable to monitor hf utilities and hfgcs with a squelch so far I figure the xhdata and tecsun are best available, as far as portable wifi radio,..it's gor to be something pretty impressive to justify spending money on when a good bluetooth speaker and any phone can do the same thing
You should IMHO. it's a bit pricey either for a radio without SSB but it's by far the best performer among my collection of portable SW receivers, beating my D-808, PL-330, PL-660 most of the time on weak signals. Forking 150 euros for it was a bit painful when I ordered it but I certainly don't regret these now.
As its system is updated now and then, Choyong could add the RDS feature on FM to this LC90 in the future. Why not? I hope so, since RDS is present on most top modern radio stations. Well, I've already ordered one. Thank you for your critical reviews.
Sir I have ask you in time and time before for an orientation of how to get better reception on sw tuning cause I have fallow a lot of your videos but I get nothing I even put an extended wire outside my window to better reception but I still get nothing now I live in Costa Rica and for worst on ssb total cero my radio is an xhdata d808

Thank you, you are brilliant.
With an external antenna, do the birdies go away at all??? Please check which freqs you find them, note it down, then try an external antenna please.
Are there memories for Shortwave and AM and FM, if so how many?
Who maintains directory of stations?

I contacted them and they are working on a feature to load internet stations by hooking it to the computer.
Expensive, many negatives and design issues.
Thinking about buying the QODOSEN SR-286

@@OfficialSWLchannel Thank You, Appreciated!
hey...Gilles
It begins to sound like your looking for some self-convincing as to why it wasn’t so bad to spend $250 (approximately) on an obviously bad radio
nope never been like that... no excuses...but it has a few points to talk about
