This is a great video to watch before assembling your grill. One useful tip is once you've removed everything from the box, close the box and flip it upside down, it makes a great platform for assembling the base of your BBQ. I suggest watching the base assembly portion first, then go assemble your base with the instructions and before you assemble the rest, watch the rest of the video.
Great idea about using the box as a platform for building the grill!
7 years later and this video is still helpful. The fact that you add the audio after the video is done rather than trying to talk while your working makes all the difference. Thank you
Just wanted to say thank you for this video. I consider myself savvy at building things with instructions but I got a bit confused about halfway through. Found this video and wish I had used it from the start.
Super helpful.
You saved us. We are idiots when it comes to putting things together and this video probably saved our marriage. Thank you so much.
I will add marriage counselor to my resume 😀
7 years old and still the exact same assembly today. I brought mine home and in combination with your video and reading the instructions, she's put together and waiting to be broke in. Thanks for taking the time to make this all those years ago :)
My new Weber E-210 just arrived! Thank you so much for the tip of removing extra parts from within the grill before taking it out of the box! That was extremely helpful!
That's what Weber should do. Create a detailed video on how to assemble every grill in their line up. Very helpful video sir.
As my Webber 310 came without assembly instructions, I was in need. Your video was clear and super helpful. 30 minutes later it's done. Thanks
This was GREAT!! Thank you for calling out the bag labels! My grill came without the assembly instructions. Tried to find them on the Weber site. They directed me to another link with a 2006 version and the part were different. Called Weber and talked to an agent, they were going to send me the link but even spelling my e-mail address twice I never received it.
I just spent 20 minutes trying to figure out who to call to help me get the top part of the grill up 1 flight of stairs. This video showed me there's 40 lbs worth of stuff that can be removed from inside the grill...mission accomplished by myself.
Very well done, thorough yet concise. I'm going to unpack and assemble mine after work tonight, this will make it much easier as i can unbox it in the car rather than breaking my back with the closed package. The note on the contents being inside the grill box was particularly helpful -- my biggest concern was getting the thing inside the house (grin)!
Great video! Nice camera angles, no blathering on and on ... Love it!!
Didn't use this tutorial, but watched it once to get an idea on how to install. Thanks
Thank you, this was the confidence I needed to dig in.
Great video. Made assembling my Weber gas grill a breeze. Took about 90” at a leisurely pace.
Really helped me today
I had to put one of these together today. It had been purchased used, and was brought to my house with no manual.
You did and EXCELLENT job of explaining how to put this visual nightmare together. I wonder why the manufacturer doesn't buy the rights from you to make a DVD to send along with the grill? Thanks for your help.
Appreciate the compliment. Hey, I contacted them about doing a video on one of their Gemini grills and can't even get them to reply to my emails!
Great, easy to follow instructions! Thank you so much for the tips. I cruised through my assembly with this video :)
Great video in all the excitement i would have forgotten a few very important steps thanks easy to understand and informative thanks again.
Excellent video ! Thank you. Picking up my grill tonight after work.
Thanks!
great tutorial !!! Super clear with almost zero wasted time.
Great video, my back thanks you for letting me know to remove the parts from the grill housing!
So here is the thing. This is the first gas BBQ I have bought. I have spent 40 years with charcoal, fir cones and wood.
So having assembled the E210 I left the house to buy the gas (the DIY box I bought the BBQ from did not sell the gas) so I took along the regulator and hose included to ensure I bought the correct gas (propane it said on the regulator) It turns out the regulator included does not work with the bottles on sale here in Luxembourg (or so two places said) Found the gas on sale at a Total petrol station and also bought a regulator. Got home and found the bottle too tall to fit. (What a newby I am) returned to Total got smaller bottle and a different regulator for this small bottle.
Now I have to leave the house again as I see the “clip” holding the hose can not be reused and I need a screw clip.
The FUN of gas BBQ.
I can imagine. Mines is natural gas, so I did not have that hassle. I think you will love it, and propane is much hotter than NG.
Thank you very much! Your video and my instruction manual to confirm here and there made assembly of my S-315 NG grill a breeze!
Sir, you will probably save me over an hour of reading. I will be getting a Spirit E-310 but propane gas edition. I assume the installation process goes the same for both models. Thank you kindly for taking time and putting this video together.
This was the best video. Great instructions and tips. Clear to the point. Thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful! And, BTW, I still LOVE my Spirit grill. Used it last night.
Thanks for such a great video. I'm not a super handy guy and I was able to put this together no problem. Well done sir!
Excellent video, thank you!
Awesome video! Between the excellent instructions shown here and the better-than-usual packaging/visual instructions from the vendor ... I actually got this assembled in short order with NO mis-assembled parts (or parts left over!) For those of us who have always struggled with the "some assembly required" effort, this was a fearless experience. Thanks again!
Thank you, now I am going to start the assembly!
Just got my BBQ today. This is an awesome video for assembly before you even start!! Thank you for posting this.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much you made setting up this grill so easy
Glad I could help
Straight to the point A++ to you sir
9 out of 10 assembly video contributors feel the need to babble mindlessly why they like the product, they’re review, blah blah, Etc..
But this is excellent. Thank you
Thank you thank you thank you!!! Because of your video, my assembly was a breeze. I appreciate it!
You will love the grill. Used mine tonight.
@@cruisemansgarage mine will be used tomorrow. Can't wait
Super helpful! Thanks for posting. Made it easy!
Great video, very useful. Just leaving the house to go and buy the grill.
You won't regret it. One of my best purchases.
Thanks! Very helpful.
Thanks a lot dud this video was so helpful I really appreciate it 👍👍👍👍👍
This was really helpful dude
Excellent video. Should denote this is natural gas but other than that , really good video.
This a great video easy to follow you will not need the directions if you follow this video . Excellent video
Thanks
This is a great video. Tanks
Thanks a lot! Great video!
Thanks for the video.
My Weber 310 Classic doesnt have a back seal as yours does. Kinda strange...
The manual didnt have anything about it either. So my backside is open.
Anyone else have this?
Great video! Thank you very much.
Excellent instruction
SUPER helpful!!
Hey, your tutorial has helped a lot so far. If you don't mind me asking, how would I place the bolts from Bag D at 7:25 into the 2 holes? I'm having a lot of trouble with that.
Almost the same as e315 .. took me 2 hours by myself thanks
There seems to be a slot for heat diffusers but the e310 doesnt come with it. Is it still worth getting the diffusers?
So I have a question I just put together a Weber grill on Monday. I don’t understand why the grease tray has a little lip on it. Like it’s supposed to slide into where you set yours. Is there another way of putting it in??
Hey, i thought cruiseman did motorcycle stuff. They must have sent this to you as a perk. Still i love the videos, you rock!
joseph norris No perk, I just bought a new grill and decided to make a video of the assembly. Trying to expand my horizons!
Wow, what a great instructional video! Thanks so much for doing this, Cruiseman! Now I think I'll put mine together myself rather than let the goofy kid at the store do it. :D
Did anyone notice that the 3 burners are not fixed or screwed down at the back. They are free to slide back and forth almost a half inch. At least on the E-315.
You never showed the burner assembly to the manifold correctly. One burner lights, the other two don’t. Why?
This is very helpful, but one note: My grill came with many washers that should be installed with just about every screw. The video says, "Attach with a screw," but often doesn't mention washers. (I should have glanced at the instructions before going just off the video.)
Thanks! :)
Does anyone know where the chain on drip pan is attached?
Wish u would have watched this before starting to assemble. I thought i was missing a piece but after watching this then looking at the directions again. The piece I thought I was missing was for sp310 models only. Fml! 🤣🤣 dang it
Thank you!!!
Thanks for this. I have exact model but noticed I don’t have a heat deflector like most gas grills. Looks like you don’t either per the assembly. Any idea as to why this model doesn’t require a heat deflector? Thx
Not sure why it doesn't. I have had the grill for 3 years now and it still performs great!
I’ve had for a year and love it. Have recently used it to cook pizza on a stone instead of using my kitchen oven. Cooks it better and in half the time
I have a related question. After 8 years with my Weber Spirit E-310 gas grill, the wheels are disintegrating and need to be replaced. Your video would lead me to believe I can remove the grates, remove the lid, remove the screws holding the sides to the base, and lift (2 people) the body off of the base, allowing me to flip the floor over and easily replace the wheels. Do you think this is a reasonable approach? Any unintended consequences I might encounter? Thanks for this excellent video!
It should work.
@@cruisemansgarage Thanks! I really appreciate your quick answer.
Hi I have this same gas grill and since day one of it is a windy day the grill turns off. Can anyone help me with this it is connected directly from my gas line. Thank you. JJ
I have the same issue. Other than something to block the wind, I cannot think of any solution.
Are the sides foldable?
No
Bought the BBQ. Having watched your video I was much better prepared to assemble my purchase. The box is huge and it was good that I have a very big car.
The tip about unpacking was very helpful.
However I am shocked at how much cardboard is used in the packing. I know it keeps the product safe while being shipped but it saddens me that so many trees have to be chopped down for this.
Any comments on this BBQ.... Is it worth it?
I am going on my 3rd year with this BBQ and I would DEFINITELY buy Weber again. I am VERY impressed with the quality.
Cheers, would like to buy one but to be deievered in EUrope.
The instructions tell you to remove the lid, but is not necessary to do that.
Dude, your the Gold Wing guy, what tha?
Man's gotta eat.
New grill
My Weber came missing the ignition system and one of the heat dispensers. Quality control for weber is shit. I'll never buy one again. BTW, you never went through the chain install.
