Here we are a year later, and this was super helpful for putting our new grill together! They only had two at our local store - one was dinged up by the assemblers, and the other was a display model that was clearly missing parts. We got the grill in a box and were overwhelmed by the number of parts.
You saved our butts at 5:47 - We didn't see the assembly instruction booklet in the envelope that the "Beginner guide" was in! *dies laughing* - once I saw that yes, there were instructions, we had it together and were grilling in about an hour! 😹

When I opened the box to my new Weber Spirit II gas grill, I was somewhat frustrated where to even get started. I so appreciate your posting the youtube assembly in your backyard as it was incredibly helpful. I laid everything out like in your video and followed the ABCDEF bags of screws, bolts and other assembly materials. I assembled my new grill and it fired up the first time. Thank you!!!!

This is very helpful. There's no substitute for actually seeing someone assemble the item, and also thanks for your comments regarding the points to note. I have no idea why anyone would vote down your video... Spoilsports!
I have one gripe with assembling this though. Each part is in it's own protective bag, which is fine, but I don't appreciate them taping up each bag, because cutting the bags off risks scratching the components. Just folding over the ends of each bag would work just fine.

Thank you my friend. I just bought the 2 burn version of this and lost the directions so without your video I would have been up the Creek I really appreciate it there is one metal piece that has 3 air fins it is about 8" long and about 5" wide and it is beveled I don't know where that goes and they did not see it in your video

Any idea what the measurements of the box it came in were ? I don’t have a truck and I’m wondering if when I pick it up if it will fit in my trunk.
Sneakercop sorry I don’t remember. But if you go to the supplier they can give you the Measurements. Or you can just have them shipped to you. Use the links to make your purchase.
For anyone with this question in the future - if it doesn't fit in the trunk, it will fit in the back seat of even the smallest sedan, and in the back of basically any hatchback. Might have issues if you've got a BRZ/FRS or Miata though. =)
The bit I don't know how to assemble isn't mentioned in the Weber guide or in your video. The lighter. How's it go together?

@@DIYRAY in the UK the Weber Spirit barbecues come with a GBS grate system where the middle comes out for different atchments. I think i prefer the normal two peice grill on yours, its a shame we don't get the option of choosing this in the UK.
Can you add which tools you need to complete this? I'm about to buy one but want to make sure I have the screwdrivers and such I need.
