Hey Cole. I don’t know how I have missed this series but I am hooked. Hats off to you for building your ultimate mini 👍
Thanks man!! I’ve been following yours as well. Keen to get this back on the road.
Cole, loving the Bad Wolf build AND the potential new garage refit. Sounds like you’ve both made a great move so I hope Mrs Cole is happy too! Live long and prosper buddy. 🙏
Big things coming!
Hey Cole, good video, while the mini work is outsourced I can see a best practice workshop set up
I would love to do that. Gotta get some money as building a workshop and a mini at the same time is tough but I am finishing out the space soon I hope and will film it.
Hi Cole
Great new work shop you have now😮
Ha you ever thought of building a Classic Mini Sprint; well now is the time to think about cutting your grey shell.😊
Haha I don’t know if that’s the look I want. I’m also very tall 😂 those are mega cool though
@@classicminidiy Amy favorite Mini….
I was looking at the 750 because of your prior posts, then see the R3. I looked at the drive by wire which you had and realized this wouldn't happen unless you were at the 1500, were there any other features that pushed you into the R3 outside of combined power? I'm a 96 SPI presently... so looking at update options. This paired with your collab on the EFI, think that's SC, is a really nice combo.
Hey Benjamin! I started with the 750 as it's perfect for a no-frills EFI conversion on the A-Series. The 1500 would be my pick if I didn't want to use it as a power distribution system for the car and wanted to go for Drive By Wire or if I was going turbo or supercharged as you have enough inputs for knock control and such. The only reason I opted for the R3 was for the power distribution. Regarding the EFI hardware though, we do not use SC stuff. We have our own hardware we produce and sell that we feel is a much better value and better quality.
Exciting stuff with the Haltech VCU, PDU + custom loom! Have you got many plans for additional electronically-controlled goodies in the interior?
Yes! I am planning on running quite a few items inside using the VCU + PD16. All the normal car stuff plus a few extras I will get into when I start doing those vids. 😎
So a new car put in a mini shell?
Sorta. It’s still going to be an a-series engine and the interior will still be mini. Just haltech running the brains of the operation haha
