The mini-truck looked like a Suzuki Carry, as it's known in the UK, they did use a 650cc 3 cylinder motorcycle type engine- that may explain the tags.
Those cicadas are noisy! Almost drowned out the noise of the Harley😅

The bugs are even worse at a house I know. It rests on a ridge and the echoing up from the valley is non-stop eeriness.

Was that a cicada strike on the camera? None so far in our area, but they tend to come out later in the summer. The New Jersey ones tend to have mustaches and tattoos.
I feel I’m almost ready for our trip, just debating on any new kind of camera set ups. I’m also gonna try and reduce my all-in black-riding-gear look for a possible hotter climate.

Yes that was what was left of a cicada after it meet the windscreen on the way back to the camera! They should make for a fun trip
