I only fish out of a kayak..the wind is a friend and an enemy. You just have to learn to use it to your advantage in a kayak. An anchor and anchor trolley is a must for guys like me.
That's hilarious thats right behind my buddies parents place. Fished there many times. That thing is full of small bass it needs to be harvested bad. Caught some biggins in the prespawn there years ago. Fun tank for an ultra light you can catch 100 bass in a there.

Not so much for this video, but in some of your other videos when you are casting towards cover, shore or specific area "my old eyes" don't always see where your cast landed. Is there anyway to (in the editing, throw in a circle, heck smiley face ) where the lure hit the water, just so folks can see where you were throwing too and then the resulting catch. just a thot from a Maine fan.
DIY and holding pole, I just made one for my 11 Old Town Pack canoe, using piece of PVC and an old retire bracket collar from Minn Kota trolling motor. Tilts up parallel with boat while moving then rotate 90*, lower and secure for holdfast fishing. lastly glad your family was safe during recent weather event, be well keep the videos coming, thank you again.
If you want real difficult kayak conditions try north east Maryland on the Susquehanna river by the conowingo damn and there’s great snakehead fishing in the creek about a mile down the river from the dam
That's a perfect lake for getting kids into fishing. High chance of success is key for getting them hooked on fishing.

That pond has a lot of fish in it, me and my buddy caught 73 in one day and also caught a 7lb that same day and also saw a 9 to. Bunch of small fish in there but there are big ones.
