Beppe Tangorra there hasn’t been an official statement but considering none of the googans haven’t mentioned or used their branded rods in weeks it’s most likely they terminated their partnership. However they might not be able to talk about other rods/reels because their rods are still being sold, and that’s probably a part of the exit agreement. Who knows.

I think it's only fair to all of your followers that you and the googans let everyone know why you have stopped fishing favorite rods. Not one person has addressed it? Hundreds of thousands of fans have purchased favorite rods from recommendation and in support of you guys, and now you are not fishing them anymore. I think the fan base deserves an explanation. Your success doesn't exist without our support, so when opinions change we need to know and why. Anyway great video as always Jon.
Press releases are tough and its not just a ‘make a video and be done with it’
I have some thoughts on this... If I had to guess I would say there is a contract that has an end date that needs to pass before anyone says anything. It is no secret that the guys aren't using them anymore. If you are looking to buy a rod you could look at the places these Favorite rods have gone and the fish they catch and buy one or go with another company. The Favorite rods will still do their thing even if the Googans aren't using them. Another thing is guys like Scott Martin and Brian Latimer use favorite rods and I haven't seen them giving away their rods just yet. It will be just as interesting to see where the "pros" go with their sponsorships.
That Rock quarry is in Saginaw Texas off at rt 820 I’ve fished it a few times and there’s a lot bigger bass in there

If you go to Saginaw and find the North Texas Highschool Rodeo Association its the body of water that is right by that. There should be a neighborhood on the north end

That's me and my buddies favorite spot. It's super deep at the west end. Be careful with the houses at the top of the hill were you go down.
If that's the abandoned quarry by 820 that's land owned by the railroad commission. You don't get a warning for trespassing on railroad commission land, automatic felony trespass and jail time. Be careful out there and be ready to run if you decide to go back.

I'm telling you I'm going to run into you fishin somewhere in DFW one day. There's 820 before Marine Creek PKWY. You really should fish Marine Creek Lake last January a guy caught a 14lb bass there on a suspending jerk bait off the dam.
